Went here a couple times with some friends! The owners are super friendly and gave some good insight when I was buying paints. Got them at a good price too! Overall lovely experience, the place is really neat and has a nice range of supplies! Picasso is very cute, I will definitely come by again!:)

This is an awesome art supply store in Vancouver! Theresa has so many unique and high quality art supplies. I especially love that they make custom size exhibition grade cradled wood panels! I had a special paint project this past Summer that required a very large specific size wood panel, and WOW, did it ever turn out beautifully! No seams, outstanding quality, and made in such a short timeframe! If you’re in need of specific art supplies, I highly recommend visiting Rath Art Supplies!

Although we’ve bought some art supplies here (at good prices), we’ve used Rath primarily as a place to stretch our painted canvases for art shows. They’ve got a great job and provided great service and value. Great little indie shop.

Rath is one of the best art supply stores for me. The staff were also knowledgeable and recommend brands that seem of nice quality. The place is organized and considering it is a smaller store than others, I'm surprised with several selections available. I bought a few to try them out. I'll update this review once I used them.

It was a nice art store with a lot of interesting art products. I bought a lot of colorful pens because I am doing journaling lately and I'm looking for several art supply to add to my journal stock. If you love painting, you would find canvas board and many paints here as well. It is a complete art store for me.

They have a way better selection of professional quality
Oil paint and mediums than any other art supply store in town that I know of. They also have great service and knowledgeable staff.

It has enough art supplies. The owner was so kind and helpful. I got a few pens and notebooks. Lots of colors available too. The space is just right especially if only a few were inside. I found huge collection of inks here as well. Your art needs would surely be satisfied here.

Staff are nice but it’s extremely disappointing to see a CFIB sticker in the window. CFIB are extremist right wing sycophants

Great friendly service with great advice. Love shopping local too. Close attention paid to current Covid guidelines when browsing store, don’t feel unsafe. Definitely plan on being a regular customer.

Super helpful and very kind staff. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They carry most art supplies and will offer good alternative options if they don't have the exact thing you are looking for.

Great selection of art supplies and very reasonable pricing. Love that they carry the Fabriano line of notebooks and a wide range of products for a "beginner" artist like myself!

Excellent art supplies, toxic environment. Owner and staff not following their own rules or regulating how many customers need to be in the space at the same time. Just be prepared to deal with that. Entitled customers get the best service. Patriarchy securely in place here.

The best art supplies close by convenient and of you are ever looking for specific supplies they will do all they can to make a special order. Amazing customer service and great student discounts.

Great variety of items and friendly staff, was able to find some things I couldn't find in the other larger art stores. Also was cheaper for me to buy certain products here than to order online.

Fantastic art supply store with a friendly and knowledgable staff. I'm particularly picky with my pens so it's lovely having a large selection of implements here. It's not as grand as Michael's, but the intimacy is greatly appreciated. I'm particularly picky with pens and I've never walked out of here dissatisfied.

Small neighbourhood store with the most wonderful community feel. The store clerk went above and beyond what was necessary even at the cost of a sale, and that to me says that they care about the local art community. I travel frequently and I didn't find an acrylic painting pad in the size I wanted so instead of pushing another size for me she offered me a free end piece of a canvas paper and even went out of her way to cut up some cardboard for me to paint on.

It's a smaller art supply store but it has a variety of items at very reasonable prices. I bought paints here and I have to say the quality is pretty good as well. The attendant was also lovely, very helpful and friendly
