Ray Perrault Park

I love to have a nice afternoon at Ray Perrault with the gals- or as we call it- Slay Purrault park- WERK IT! XD

I always love this place. It's a big field to play soccer, and flying kites or run around. Whenever you are feeling lonely, just go there and sit down for a while, you will see mountains around and it gives much peace of mind.

The city of North Vancouver has done an awesome job of encouraging local residents to get out and play. In the last two years more picnic tables have been added, the playground has been upgraded and the boulevard loop an excellent place to walk dogs, and friends. Wheel chair accessible for pushing those that cannot get around as freely. I highly recommend Ray Perrault Park. As a writer, I enjoy settling in to the hum of children playing, families and friends having picnics and the sights and sounds of kites flying and tennis rackets whacking.

Waited at the counter for more than 15 minutes before someone actually took my order. No "sorry sir", no nothing. Seemed like the presence of my colleague and I was merely an annoyance to the staff.

Never experienced this at a restaurant before. And it wasn't particularly busy at 2: 30pm when we were there

Great park with peak a boo views of downtown! Great place to kick a soccer ball or if have small kids, their is a playground.

Two layer park with tennis courts, tennis wall, soccer fields, playground, basketball hoops. Keep an eye on the kids though as there are places to lose sight of them. Surrounded by bike routes.

There's plenty to do here. There's a park for the kids - sandbox included - some tennis courts, a soccer field, washrooms, drinking fountain, parking, plenty of benches and even more grassy space to play on.

It's also below Grande Boulevard if you'd rather go for a bike ride along the border of the huge stretch of park, or a stroll down the slithering path found in the middle.

A small, quiet park ideal for family picnics and playing. A small playground is also available for children. Thus far, family dogs welcomed.
