Rayz Barber & Hair Style

GREAT CUT & STYLE. I used Rayz services for first time recently and could not be more satisfied. You can tell by the way that Ray uses his scissors, and other tools, that he takes pride in his mastery of the the actual barber craft (more than just being a ”hair stylist”).

No one answers the phone. We went there and wait at the front desk for a while, no one was there. Only one person cutting hair. If that is the service I can expect from this place, I am happy to take my business elsewhere.

Great customer service, and best fade I've seen in the tri cities. Fair price as well. Would definitely recommend.

Last time I got a cut from there all my family liked it and I always go there if I wanted a cut and they know how to treat the costumer.

Worst experience. Stop talking with your language so loud in front of your customer. It’s so annoying. Owner keeps talking to his kids so loud while his son is cutting hair with my partner. Remember, you are in your business not in your livingroom.

Ray and his son are the best.they will make feel at home. No rush just quality work. I won't go anywhere else, five stars for sure.

I would not recommend this. They are dishonest.

I called and asked price for haircut and beard. He told me in total it would be $25. I went to ATM to get the cash out, in order to ease the transaction. When I shown up. Fortunately he recalled me by my voice. I started showing him the beard style I want. In between he told me, that in total it would be $55, as he charge $30 for beard and $25 for haircut.

He knew very well, that he tried to trick me over call. Then I told him I don’t have that cash, I have to go to ATM all over again. He insisted that I should get a haircut. Really, I am upset and not happy.

This is Canada, I don’t know where you coming from, what kind of mindset you bringing here. This country runs with trust and honesty. You will learn your lesson soon. Have a good luck!

I went in for a head shave and a beard trim as I have been growing my beard for roughly 4 months.

I mentioned I wanted to balance out my beard hairs as I am still growing it out.

I received a heavily cut down beard with a goatee that was very uneven for the beard lines along with many cuts on my neck, nose, cheek from their use of a straight razor. On top of that both barbers seemed more interested in conversing in their language than cutting hair. They charged $50 for a quick head shave with the machine cutter and a beard ‘trim’, also they are cash only.

On one hand it feels like money laundering based on the cash premise, price, and quality of cut. In hindsight I should of walked out. On the other hand it was very unprofessional based on the communication, detail of haircut, and injuries on my neck/face.

I went home and gave myself a cleaner head shave, adjusted the very poor beard lines and applied first aid to my cuts and scrapes.

Because of this I cannot recommend this business, and HIGHLY suggest you avoid this shop even if their cuts are free.

I'm very picky when it comes to haircuts. Rayz is amazing. My only go to place for haircuts.

Best barber in the town I highly recommend everyone to come to Mr. Ray because he is professional and will give you the best haircut. Especially for fades and zero fades, he is amazing.

Walid is the man. I saw him make two guys before me look blessed and he fixed my mop of long hair up for a wedding. 5 stars

I didn't get his name, but there is an amazing barber here that gave me the cleanest taper fade I have ever had. Showed him one photo and he immediately got to work, super focused, and it came out perfect, exactly how I wanted it. They really take their time to make the perfect cut here. If you want a clean cut come to Rayz!

I had hair cut here two times. He cuts well. However business hours are misleading. Had to turn away couple times assuming it’s open becoz it says so on their schedule (at 10am) however they were closed when I went there at 11: 30. Not cool

First time at rayz and great experience. Ray is professional, gave my son a great haircut. Friendly and will definitely go back

Ray is a great barber. Good to chat with, and does an amazing job cutting, taking time to make sure you look good.

Best skin fade in town! If you are from out of town you should still give Rayz a try. It's first come, first serve, and at times can be a bit of a wait, but the results are worth the wait. I usually go during a slower time but I can't tell you when that is because that would make my wait time longer

Ray is the best there is in Poco. Very friendly and has been in the industry for over 30 years. Would recommend to anyone.

Ray is amazing, he knows what cut will suit you. Takes time to cut your hair, stop and show in middle how the progress is going. I have bee in going to rays for an year now, always a great fresh cut and fantastic service.
Following all the COVID protocols, space and all equipments are super clean.
Highly recommended.

Ray is one of the most talented barbers I’ve ever been too, his skills are A1. You can just tell by the way he uses his scissors. It was my first time here and I think I’ve found my go to barber.

I've been trying out new barbers recently, but they dont listen and do stuff to my hair without even asking.but this one is much better, the owner is really nice and the place is elegant and looks professional.his son is really nice to talk to and is very good at giving haircuts.the haircut they give is really good and they ask you before doing stuff.would absolutely recommend!

Ray is the best barber hands down. His skillset of fading and use of scissors makes his haircuts incomparable to anything else. He will style your hair that suits your face and head shape and not give you a cookie-cutter haircut like most of these other shops. He is constantly learning the best practices and upping his game. If you want to build a lifelong relationship with someone who is a professional and reliable, this is the place.
