They closed my account without any explanation. I had $13,000 in my account, and they still have it. I went to the branch, and I was told they sent it, and I'll receive it by mail within 3 to 5 business days. After a month, I still don't have it. I called the call center, and I was told I have to go back to the branch. Absolutely terrible, lying to my face—horrible customer service. I don't have any words except I faced discrimination and racism at this location

I had the worst experience with RBC Bank. They closed my account without providing any reason. Despite calling multiple times, they insisted they didn't know and directed me to visit a branch. Despite working from Monday to Friday, I went to the branch open until 7, only to be told again that they had no information and to call a different number. Upon calling again, they instructed me to go to the main branch Downtown. In an email, RBC stated that they decided to close my account without providing any reasons, citing a lack of sufficient comfort to continue the relationship. I find it hard to believe that such a big bank would take such action without explanation or notification. I suspect a potential racist problem since they didn't offer any reasons. Even after going to the branch to resolve the issue, the manager informed me that RBC decided to close the account without knowing the reason and directed me to call client care. When I asked for a concise explanation, I received no response. It's frustrating to live without a credit card and a bank account for a month, and RBC has not given any reasons for this situation. I've requested a one-sentence response from RBC explaining why they closed my account and who is responsible for the damages to my life. The lack of answers and responsibility is concerning.

This is not a correct place for people to operate any business because you will most probably meet some terrible and unprofessional staffs. They don’t know their products are services. Customers need the satisfied and reasonable service, however they don’t get this point. They will fool customers like a stupid and blind person. Be very careful if you will be there.

I had the unfortunate situation of getting an appointment with Girish Kakar, really nice guy but doesn’t know a single thing about RBC or banking in general. I had to repeatedly tell him I could get a certain product after he told me I couldn’t. Then when I needed help a week later, once again he said that he didn’t know, and I should ask my friend who also banks with RBC.
Awful customer service and mind blowing RBC hire people like that. I will now be banking somewhere else.

RBC, only the FIFTH largest fossil fuel funder in the world! Do not bank with them, they are destroying our planet and their claims of 'sustainable' steps are complete bogus & blatant greenwashing. Investing more that $200 BILLION dollars into fossil fuel projects since the Paris Agreement was signed? ACTIONS speak louder than words.

Unfortunately there have been no less than three instances of exceedingly bad customer service here. Cases of misinformation, rudeness, possibly even discrimination- I was with my baby and the teller was off-putting, unhelpful, unwilling to listen to a brief reasonable request, apparently already clocked out mentally with half an hour to close. I understand there's high turn over at banks these days. Regardless, a pattern here such that warning others is warranted. I stick to online or banking by phone, aiming to avoid this branch like the plague.

The worse support I have ever had! I couldn’t sign in again and when I called to support I been waiting for an hour, then I requested call back, which they did but put me on hold for a 15 minutes
