RBC Royal Bank

Absolutely horrible service. Rude staff, slow and always a pain to deal with when I come in the branch. Would never recommend this bank to anyone. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.

Worst staff ever across all banks that exists in Canada. Super rude, not ready to listen. Says unless you have 250k in account dont bother us.

RBC really has a ton of issues, but the branch manager Tracey her is super helpful. We encountered a lot of problems with RBC, and Tracey was there to help we out.

The Worst RBC Bank Branch
I recently had an unfortunate experience with RBC Bank. As a loyal customer with all my accounts, savings, investments, and direct deposit of two salaries with RBC, I was disappointed when they were not willing to waive the cost for a bank draft. This incident left me feeling offended and has made me consider moving my banking needs to a different institution. I hope RBC can improve their customer service and consider the loyalty of their long-term customers in the future.

The worst bank, if you’re considering going with RBC don’t.
They set your limits for you and don’t let you change them and make it so you cannot pay rent in 1 day, you will have to start 3 days early in order to make rent on time.
They will hold all your cheques regardless of you being with the same company for over half a year, you will get unexcused NSF fees due to this.
I have had my cheques released fully in the past, it is a struggle with every branch but this one in particular will not do anything to help you, and the manager will not talk to you. She is lazy and refuses to do her job.
They ignore notes on your file and do what they want depending on how they’re feeling. Sometimes they will give you your pay, sometimes they won’t. It is a gamble.
I have never had a fraud charge, or had any discrepancies with the bank so there is absolutely no excuse for this.

There so incompetent the lady helping me took 48 min to deposit a cheque, my god, I closed my accounts immediately don’t bother with this bank recommend any other bank.

Terrible place, terrible service, I came here to cash my cheque every Friday and these people are so rude and never smile, maybe because I am a humble worker and not a money laundering Asian, never again will I step foot in this bank.

Manager says (we don’t certified the cheque for non costumer and when I asked her ok let’s open the account for me and she says no sorry I don’t have anyone to that for you) very clear that they don’t what to do they job or maybe they judge from my race!
However when we called costumer service they said yes we do certified cheque
She lied and told me that RBC don’t do that anymore

Terrible bank with terrible customer service. Branch refused to certify cheque, I called customer support and they told me it’s not a problem and they should certify the cheque.
Assistant manager of the branch refused to certify as “this isn’t something we do here at rbc”
Wow ok definitely avoiding doing business with this company in the future.

Hard to overlook all the other 1 star reviews, clearly the customers are not important to this bank

All staff are so helpful this is a new branch and i feel so organized. Sometimes it will have some line up but the staff is working so hard.
