RBC Royal Bank

Lined up for more than 30mins and was told they don’t have staff here who can open a new account for kid. Probably didn’t care because it was for a kid account. Could have told us earlier while we were lining up. All they asked if people had an appointment or not. What a waste of time. Going to another location.

Awsome royal bank, they got in person tellers and bank machines. This branch has been great for many long years and continues to be good with me, even when it was at the old location before this current one. Staff are always amazing with me.

I had a bad experience here with the floor manager on Tuesday, November 7th at 3: 30. The lady I was trying to solve a case with was rude and brash, to the point where I was not allowed to be helped. Despite concerted efforts to continue the conversation to try and investigate, the floor manager shut me down by elevating her voice and interrupting me whenever I tried to explain my case.

Not only do I refuse to come back to this branch until it’s resolved but I will likely move my business elsewhere where I am treated with minimal courtesy and dignity.

I’ve dealt with RBC for decades and their customer service at this location is very good and efficient.

RBC Employee named Shan Kumar was rude and not at all helpful in our appointment to discuss my account. He sounded annoyed with every question I would ask him and would interrupt me mid-sentence.

I’ve closed all accounts in the bank, payed all the bills. Asked the worker if I don’t owe them anything, he said “no sir, everything is settled” and after 2 month they send me a letter that they charged me dishonored fee 45$ and in total o over them about 65$. Do not use this bank! Keep it elsewhere.

Ms Li provided excellent service as we needed to complete numerous banking needs. We enjoyed our visit and completed all the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently.

Came in to deposit my paycheque because because its the closest to my house. I usually go to the RBC downtown on Howe because its close to work but today I decided to come to this location since its closer to my house. I was waiting in the line and noticed how friemdly the tellers were to everyone. They seemed to know most of their customers and were quite polite to those customers HOWEVER once it came to my turn to be helped, not only was i turned away and told to go to scotiabank and then comeback? But also there was no politeness from the teller helping me and they only made an effort to help once i was visably upset. This was not my first time depositing this paycheck at an RBC teller but it WAS my first time in this location. I work for a doggy daycare and im not sure if it was because i had just came from work and was in sweats and hoodie but Esther was questioning me as if i had forged this cheque myself.which wasnt even the first cheque i had deposited and she could have just looked at my history on the account.i never recieved such rude service from tge RBC on Howe! As a young female i have never felt so discriminated against it felt awful and i will never be returning

Super helpful employees who are willing to go above and beyond to help with whatever banking needs you have. Cant recommend this RBC Branch enough!

When to do a simple deposit yesterday, Saturday, April 1st, 2023 just before noon. There was this South Asian teller who was slumped on his chair and acted quite unprofessional expected from a bank teller. Social skills, attitude and behaviour needs improvement and indifferent. He acts different when the boss is there on weekdays and the opposite on weekends.his excuse was he was new.so if true, then be nicer so people can relate.this guys suits better as a sales associate at a retail store or cannabis shop.horrible.should be fired to be honest.the other lady however working the first/front desk is far more professional and we can tell she takes her work seriously. This guy we had I would describe as a slick "opportunist". Superficial.

Bank advisor Elizabeth was very professional and friendly, definitely would come back to this branch.

I went to this branch to deposit US funds to my friend’s account. While teller was working on it, the floor manager stepped in and said that it is not possible to deposit US cash to someone else’s account. I went to another RBC branch and they did it without any problem. I don’t know the name of the manager but it happened on January 16,2023 at 4 PM, thought the manager would benefit from more training on what they can do so the customers don’t have to go from one branch to another to get the job done!
