It should simply be a debit machine and nothing else.

This new ‘meeting place’ is useless if you need an actual bank. Not sure who came up with this, but I’m not happy it’s gone. Perhaps it’s time to switch anyways…

Talked with a financial advisor named David who did a great job helping me and my wife invest. Would recommend asking for him if you or your spouse needs a better understanding of financial investment.

Being on hold for 30 mins and they never pick up to answer a simple question. Very disappointed on there end. You would think the number one bank in Canada would be all over this.

This bank is open on days that there’s no cash in the bank so I can’t actually do banking?

Also there’s no personal cheques anymore? It’s supposed to be a bank yet they have little to no actual banking capabilities. Highly recommend not wasting $16 a month at a bank that doesn’t do anything.

I do all my banking with RBC and was very disappointed when trying to renew my mortgage this last year. I understand it is covid so things can be delayed and what not, But it took a full 6 months for a renewal to complete. I had to follow up many times and would get emails just before 5pm on Fridays so when I went to reply the specialists email was shut off for the weekend. In addition, I dealt with 4 different mortgage specialists as they kept moving to different positions within RBC before my file was complete. This also resulted in me sending the same documents in multiple times. Title of my property wasn't pulled in the beginning so a previous lender was still on title from five years prior despite being with RBC for my previous term which complicated things immensely. Lastly, I wish my mortgage was explained better - explain the penalties and pros/cons of different length terms, etc. Although all my banking is with RBC, I wont be using RBC for mortgages in the future.

If you need more cash than the atm will give you, don't bother going here if its Saturday. " no cash services on Saturdays" I was told. So Monday to Friday between 9 to 5 is the only time you can take YOUR own money out. Very convenient if you have this neat thing called a job. Why? What a joke. It's my money

RAMAN DHILLON, one of their Mortgage specialists took it upon herself to take mine and my husband's mortgage contract from our original mortgage specialist WITHOUT TELLING HER, and essentially botch our agreement, write up a new one with higher rates and would've made us pay penalties. She hid this from us for OVER A WEEK, and had the nerve to put on our file that I was on MATERNITY LEAVE? ! This caused my husband to think I was pregnant when I am indeed NOT. She is extremely unprofessional and claiming I was pregnant causing my husband to react the way he did is disgustingly inappropriate. I will let people know to stay away from her when searching for a mortgage specialist.

Worst experience I have ever had a a bank.
The staff are rude and seem unable to handle the simplest of tasks.
The manager Tim, is the worst of the bunch.
Do not deal with this bank, save yourself the aggravation. The TD bank close by is much more professional

I went there attempting to get a simple clerical error corrected. The staff was rude and incompetent.
I ask to see the manager, Tim somebody. This guy comes out dressed like a clown complete with Christmas lights around his neck. Would you trust your finances to someone like that?
Anyway, seemed baffled on what to do, but promised to call me back in a “reasonable” length of time. This was 3 weeks ago, still waiting for call.
Unbelievable.

I’ve been dealing with RBC for years at a different branch and my problem to clarify is not with RBC as a company. This branch specifically has terrible customer service. I have left messages and emails without a response. Chriss has been a terrible financial advisor and has made this extraordinarily frustrating. They’ve given me false information on multiple occasions and make empty promises. I highly recommend going to the Walnut Grove branch.

WRONG HOURS POSTED! I wasted time on a Saturday morning trying to get some business banking done. They clearly had hours listed as open at 9am online but were closed with no explanation. I had to find another RBC branch to get banking done. Keeping your hours of operation properly listed online needs to be a priority for all business especially ones that are unreachable by phone!

The staff here are always very friendly and kind. It's a great location, heaps better than the downtown location. You can always get served here in a timely manner.

Please get more tellers. Your staff is great but this location is under staffed. For someone who does business banking on a daily basis I don’t want to wait 15 minutes each time because there’s only two people on and most likely one of the tellers is new and needs help from the other teller. This area is becoming busy. It’s time to add more staff on.

Most of the times there is just one or two tellers for answering the customers. Poor customer service.

I had a very poor experience here. I wanted a simple business chequing account and applied online. I received no confirmation email or phone call so I went into the branch to follow up. They scheduled an appointment for me a week later, which I felt was unreasonably slow given my situation.

I met with a rep who was very unprofessional, condescending and rude. In response to my description of what I do, she actually said, "And people find that of value? " Still, I continued as I really needed an account.
Throughout the meeting, I was made to feel less and less welcome and at the end of it, she actually suggested that I just go to Coast Capital where I do my personal banking. It was a humiliating experience.

I went back the next day and spoke to a manager to share my experience. I wasn't mad and I didn't ask for anything, I just thought they would like to know how I was made to feel. The manager was pleasant, sympathetic and promised me she would look into it and get back to me by the end of the day. She called me at the end of the day and said she didn't have to look into it but would do so immediately upon her next shift. That was over 10 days ago and I have never heard from her.

I ended up going to Coast Capital for my business account and it was all taken care of by the time I got to my appointment - I literally just had to sign some documents. The rep at Coast Capital had been to my business website and my LinkedIn profile to understand me and my business beforehand. It was a great experience - plus, I got $200 just for opening an account at Coast Capital!

Very friendly tellers and account mgrs like Lilla. Branch Mgr even offers coffee or water to walk ins.how awsome is that!
