Real Canadian Superstore

Incredibly rude customer service in aisle six with cashier Anafe at 6: 15 pm. We arrived at the checkout, only to be greeted with pure disdain. Anafe begin ringing in our items, many of them seasonal breakable mugs and glassware, but had no regard to the fragility of our purchases and continued to bang all of the items together onto the conveyor belt. There was a price discrepancy on wine glasses as they were ringing up $1.29 and we kindly told her that they were posted at $. 94 each. She banged our glasses down in frustration and stared at us. I said politely, can we get a price check. She rolled her eyes and banged the items again. I asked her again, “I’d like the correct price so if you don’t mind can we call someone for a price check, I can go run over and take a picture of the price listed on the display board. ” She reluctantly called a runner and I accompanied him to the display while my husband continued to have the items rung up at the till. The runner took a photo of the barcode and told Anafe the list price per glass. Still with that confirmation, she proceeded to punch it in at a higher price. While this was going on, all of our breakables and groceries were piling up at the start of the second conveyor belt because she refused to push the button to let the conveyor belt continue moving. We struggled with pressing the button on our end while loading our groceries into bags, all while being afraid the breakable items we purchased were already broken! To top that off she did not apply our optimum points equalling $60 off our groceries and had to redo the entire transaction, citing that “she forgot. ” I then went to customer service only to be told by the counterperson that I “ Shouldn’t be asking to speak to the Manager, rather the front end supervisor. ” Lol how the hell would I know the names of the job titles here? Shocked at the rude behaviour of all of the customer service personnel I encountered today. That has never been my experience at other RCSS locations and given it’s the holidays, It would’ve been nice to have a friendly experience at the checkout. Spoke to the manager Jeff at the end of our shopping trip but unfortunately was fairly nonchalant about the situation.

Good deals, large self checkout area, and layout is good enough for navigation through the store.

PC Express service is dreadful. Only ever 1 runner bringing orders out so wait is very long. Often items are shorted or billed but not delivered. Then it's a fight to get a refund. Not worth the "convenience".

I've lived about a 20-minute walk away from this park for about 6 months now and today was the first time I went and checked it out it's actually a beautiful little Park there's some really cool artwork and stuff there and some covered benches nice energy there it's a beautiful park

Love shopping here. Well stocked. Great selection. Good customer service.

Only con for me is that, FAMILY PARKING is just 2 spots. When we shop as a family or take my kid/s…it’s hard to find a good parking spot close to the entrance - where I can freely open my doors to put the carseats in without banging on to someone’s car.

Overall, I will always come back to this place since they have all the items we need at home especially the international aisle.

I went during the weekend in the middle of the afternoon. Shelves were stocked, Staff was friendly. Prices were a little better than most places these days, but not as much of a deal I used to think it was. The people shopping that day ruined the experience for me. Standing in the middle of the aisle, walking slow, in the way.still think walmart is a better deal but I wanted to support canadian (if they're even cad anymore.)

Their pickup system is pretty good. Occasionally there are mistakes but they're good at rectifying it

Check-out clerks are very helpful. Produce/Vegetables could be better. What I really don't understand is why 8 out of the 9 stocking crew tonight weren't wearing proper masks. Loblaws can't afford it?

My main location for all my shopping. Love that it's close and the prices are lower on most products.

It's "super" because it's big, cheap, and has lots of selection, not because it's easy to find things, there's an abundance of helpful stuff, or because they've cultivated a desirable aesthetic to their store. As long as you go in with the right expectations they're nailing it

Staff were nice. One woman stood out on one of my visits. I wish I could remember her name. Very high energy and inviting at the self-checkout.
My biggest complaint about Superstore in general is that you can find a product one day, then not the next, or maybe never again. The consistency is terrible.
Otherwise, I like this store.

Ready-made, to-go foods such as salads, sushi, vegetable plates and cheese plates are of very high quality, and always fresh. Stock levels are reliable, even despite recent shortages due to the pandemic, and recent flooding. Prices are always reasonable, unlike some local competitors.

Generally I use the self checkout, but there was quite a line up so I opted for the lone express checkout. When I got to it another customer was unloading a full shopping cart when the sign clearly stated 1 - 16 items. When I approached the counter I asked "this is the express checkout isn't it? " to which the customer answered "oh sorry". Unfortunately she displayed the 2 worst character flaws in this time, privilege and hoarding. I turned and took my place in line to purchase my 4 items in the self checkout behind 6 customers. By the time I got through and made my purchase, that customer was still being rung through the express checkout. Shame on her but the cashier should have refused to let her continue.

I was shopping with a friend. At the end, I was finishing a transaction at the hairdresser while my friend was waiting with our cart full of purchases near the entry. A lady came up to my friend and attempted to take our cart. She was quite adamant it was her cart! Meanwhile our coats and my phone were in there. My friend was just about to scream for security when the lady finally gave up and walked away.

Superstore is the kind of place where you leave your dignity at the door. It's the only grocery store where I've witnessed customers fighting over their place in line. Best to shop early morning or late nights, to avoid witnesses.

So i was charged on my credit card the 125% of my bill for online shopping. THEN i was charged the 100% total of my bill. It has been 48hrs and i still haven't haven't be reimburse.

So im out over $300+ to buy $100 worth of groceries.

Love superstore. Everything is well stocked and there are always a great selection of fresh vegetables and herbs. They usually have the chocolate milk I want, which is 1/2 sugar and lactose free and always seems to be sold out at Walmart. Love that it’s open until 11pm every night! So very convenient. It’s neat and had fresh meat as well. Love the organic/natural aisle. Well done superstore and keep up the good work!

Love their prices hate their layout, the isle in between was great. Now when you've forgotten something they are long isles to back tract and never anyone around to help.

Yikes, just saw a nasty exchange between two employees near the end by the self check out. It was quite intense, at first I thought it was a customer but I saw them both wearing a red shirt.

I will consider this next time I shop in this area. I felt bad for both sides, I hope the issue was resolved.

Typical large grocery store. Very large selection of products and services. Clean store, employees friendly and helpful. Check flyers before shop for deals and if they will match price or beat it. Large free parking lot.

Mask and Covid 19 restrictions inforced. Covid 19 passport not required for entering.

Not clean but service was fast and process was not as painful as surrounding businesses. The area is not as busy as better rated Superstores which makes me think managing it may need work.

Good selection, could use a larger world food isle, doing their best to get you through the check outs, 5 stars to the crier the woman on duty when I was here was very professional and helpful

Very good variety.they do a good job to clear the big line ups. Grocery can be fresher and restocked properly. Also sea food department can improve with better varieties

Using the PC express delivery was the worst experience ever. I had a few [problems here.first, from the time I was placing the online order till the checkout, a few of my items showed our of stock. (they should have a system that shows item is low on quantity when you try to order). Then a few hours before my pickup i received an email that said some more items were removed from my list. (so far I had missed about 20% of my stock). What if I was isolating at home and had no other way of getting the items I needed, I would have to pay anther delivery fee. Then on pickup day, when I brought the items home I saw that 5 of the items from my list was on the receipt but I never received them. They charge you for delivery and the service is very bad. I tried calling the manager, she was never there, they do not take a message so she would call back. They only said they would refund the fee for the item.no apologies. This was by far the worst experience. Please always check your items against the receipt to make sure you at least have everything you paid for.

Lots of free parking and the store is clean and well stocked. It carries a wide variety of ethnic groceries. The produce is fresh.

Ok for bulk foods, Decent prices. The Produce is medium quality hence the cheaper prices. You got to have the PC Chocolate Lava Cake heated with Chapmans French Vanilla Ice Cream

A terrible experience tonight! They are not doing enough in to keep their staff and customers safe during this crisis. Too many people. Not enough staff. Do not come here during this crisis. They must do better than this.

Good selection of grocery items and usually short lineups, however, I just experienced something vile at this superstore location. After a shopping trip I headed to the washroom to wash my hands. As I am walking into the washroom a cashier comes out of one of the stalls with their gloves and washed OVER the gloves with soap and dried off her gloves with the dryer. Stunned by what I just saw I followed her out to see if she would change them and she didn’t. I reported it to the front desk but they did not seem to care.
Make sure to use the self checkout while at this store.

Needed a pair of casual pants for work first thing in the morning. (ruined my favourite pair in the dryer). Went there at 10: 30pm and not only got a pair, they were on sale too!

It's a Superstore. Not much else to it. Staff could use a bit more personality, hut that's if I'm being really picky

Honestly, Superstore has to be the WORST grocery store ever! Out of so many items like, Milk, orange juice, sour cream, cheese, eggs, butter. Soya sauce. Don't even get me started on produce. Do they just not stock green vegetables.green onion, lettuce, green beans. I get not everything is going to be in stock all the time but I mean every single time I walk in that store there are multiple common items that are not in stock

The best grocery selection, with most of the time what prices. I really like the assortment of imported goodies from all over the world.

This ace is amazing. Random strangers helping to each other buy items like TVs. I witnessed Heisenberg here educating this young couple on the good and bad of TVs. Good to know there are people our there willing to help others.

Never use PC Express. Complete and utter terrible experience. I was overcharged for items I never received, expired food etc. Then when told the situation would be rectified nothing was done.

Too many people park in the "no parking zone", while waiting for someone to run inside. Doesn't work as lines are too long. Disappointing on the produce on multiple times, so have cut way back on visits there.

Grandview Superstore happens to be my Mothers & my favorite Superstore to shop at. Most of the cashiers, stock boys, security, as well as Customer Service Counter Ladies know Mom by face. Mom always gets help no matter how busy the store is. I am quite sure Mom is not the only senior who gets exceptional help no matter what they are their to get. The Manager at this Superstore has gone out of his way to make things right when approached with a concern or a complain
This Superstore is well organized & we'll stocked for shoppers to shop, pay for the groceries & leave without waisting time. This is very important in today's busy schedule, as shoppers from all walks of life come in to shop & want to be able to come in, walk down those particular isles that have the items they want, get into line as quick as possible to pay for their groceries, have the groceries bagged if they are seniors or shoppers with possible disabilities. Most of the time even help is available carrying the groceries to the car, stocking them in the car & the shoppers are on their way home or else where to shop more.
This Superstore by far is one of the best with knowledgeable staff, friendly & approachable management team, friendly Security Guards, Ever ready to help general staff members, Very tentative meat department staff, Friendly & efficient Deli staff etc. Hats of Guys keep up the good worke

Produce is not always well stocked. Parking can be annoying at this location. Overall the selection and prices are good.

This location is not as busy as vancouver. Definitely friendly service and cleaner location. Prices are very attractive as usual. Perks of having dentist cellphone store and Dollarama next door. I would recommend to shop here if you live around the area

I'm constantly amazed. Was recently shopping for vitamins and found the selection at Super Store better than London Drugs.
The helpers at the self checkout recently outperformed those at nearby Walmart too!
