Good choice of products, busy store but I managed to complete my shopping in a reasonable length of time. Staff was pleasant.

Readonably praised superstore. The fish section is ample and they also have clothing, housewares, and other stuff. Contains also a pharmacy.

I think the Flashfood program is an excellent idea; however upon my first purchase I experienced what I felt was discrimination. The customer service rep served a client that lined up after me, first, and when he brought it to her attention - she said “ that doesn’t matter, you’ve been here along time”. Even after he apologized to me twice, she didn’t acknowledge her mistake, or apologize. Then during my service she berated me for taking my purchase from the frig first. Please know, this was my first purchase and THAT is precisely what your frig says to do! She was unable to find my purchase in her scanner (I showed her my receipt) and she kept loudly stating “ I can’t find you in my list, I can’t find you my list”. It was embarrassing. I’m a pensioner, I need to use this app, but now hesitate. Also, I don’t understand why the frig was loaded with food that I didn’t receive an offer for, but that’s another issue….

Prices are better than other big chain grocery stores. But heaven help you if you online order. If they have a substitution, it will be nothing close. Or they will be out of stock of popular items like chicken breast or the yogurt of your choice. It's also usually quite dirty on the shelves. Hard to beat the prices though

What is there to say? I need stuff, they have stuff. Lines to get out with said stuff are always atrocious. Staff are fine.

Dont order online, you wont get your stuff at the time you pick. I was forced to wait around 75 mins PASSED the pick up time I chose. They promised me a refund of the fee for ordering online for my trouble, and never even did it. BOOOOO will never shop here ever again.

It’s ridiculous how such large of a store can constantly be running out of staples. I’ve never just abandoned a cart in a grocery store and left with nothing before until trying to shop here. That day I left the store, went to local grocer and got everything I needed and for cheaper (shout out to Buy-Low!).

The store is very busy, people often not wearing masks (at the height of case numbers during the pandemic), and it takes forever together through given its size, confusing layout and often long lines.

Good prices but their curbside pickup is often late/delayed particularly on weekends and they are not great with substitutions on online orders.

Shoutout to Matt, the young guy who works in grocery filling baskets as a personal shopper. I approached him looking for some of those butter cookies you find at Christmas time. But knew they were somewhere he tried to help me find them but they weren't in any aisle we thought they would be, after giving up defeated. I continued shopping, 5 minutes later this guy found me further in the store with a tin of cookies in his hand. Way to make my day and go above and beyond!

They've been ignoring our points inquiry for 15 months now. I sent them everything requested and then we hear nothing. I would suggest if you have a similar problem with their online shopping promotions, make sure you harass them until they pay up. Updated 2021-07-09.they finally paid up after 20 months.

Click and collect is a disaster here. I dont care about covid excuses. A company like this should be able to afford hiring more staff to make up for the people that call in sick. My wife waiting an hour and a half for grocery pickup the other day. Pathetic.

I do the majority of my main grocery shopping here. Shelves are always well stocked and the store is clean. I find it rather busy during the day, so I normally go around 9: 00 pm.

Spemt over 2 hrs and $400 i store, not all are wearing masks (even tho its "mandated"). Why not click and pick or get delivery if u cant enter the store safely? Also went for insurance.the guy puts his hand up to me and tells me "nit now, im on the phone with icbc" and even the 2 customers behind me walked away! Some customer service today, superstore

Standard Superstore. Lots of products at decent prices. Lost one star since I saw multiple people not wearing masks properly and staff did not enforce the fixing of that major problem.

Made an online order for 8-9pm pick up. It's 1030 and it's still not done. Got hung up on twice while trying to get answers. When I went in the Manager just said they missed my order, sorry. Worst experience, no one cares how much of your time they waste. I would say I won't ever be back but they don't care about that either.

The staff is always lovely and very helpful the store is always clean they are cleaning carts and baskets frequently so everyone will get a clean cart and basket every time. The reason for getting three stars is because a lot of the times they're out of a lot of the foods that I end up going there for I have had some bad luck with their fresh fruit having lots of bugs in it.

The click and collect is an utter joke. I did not get my groceries tonight, did not get a phone call to say they would not be ready. Had to phone and sit on hold forever before I got the manager who gave a bunch of excuses. My previous 2 orders were late. They just don't care.

Click and collect is not the way to shop here if you are doing it to support your schedule.
Plan for it to be at least an hour late. And if you need to call in your on hold forever. This includes when picking up (as it's the same number to collect as to recieve information)

Twice I have attempted to order for the added convenience, which you pay for. Both times were delayed well past the original pre-booked time. The only positive is the store will phone to let you know there is a delay. So if you do not have a schedule, it works great!

Today the female customer service worker was very unpleasant. Everyone during this time of the year are struggling and are over worked. We all help each other out in everything we can. I can out from my car and dropped my surgical mask and got dirty in the running water in their parking lot due to of their new garden Center they opened in the middle of the parking lot. I went inside and ask for another mask and she just asked me to join the long line for the mask. Which I believe was a risk of other shoppers as well as myself without the mask. Since superstore is not screening their customers, they should at least provide it on spot for the courtesy of everyone’s health sake.

It'll be Safeway from here on out. Just walked in and went to the deli section (the back of the store) and noticed that's where the back of the bloodly line was. A couple lanes open with a line going half way around the building. Past the bakery, the dairy, the seafood and the meats. Self checkout had it's own maze of a line through the produce. Dropped my basket there and headed to Safeway where there were no lines at all and my stuff was bagged for me. I free markets.

I discovered before Christmas if the lineups are too long at the self check-out you can take your small basket of items to the staff in the Joe Fresh clothing. They will happily run the items through the till. Staff there are so customer friendly and are happy to keep busy even if it is to bag ice cream and a pie.

Parking is always an issue. The isles are not wide enough for carts to pass one another. That said, the shelves are always full (except toilet paper) damn covid! Cashier's are pleasant and if you can find someone to ask a question in the isles, they are usually very knowledgeable.
