Real Canadian Superstore

I shop at this location weekly. I find the staff friendly and helpful and many times go out of their way to assist. The return desk is exceptional and never any hassle if the prices don't match. I like the selection and prices are overall as good if not better than other stores.

Definitely better then some Superstores I've been to. I hate grocery shopping, it takes me an eternity to shop cause I want to touch everything lol

Waited 50 minutes for my curbside pickup, repeated excuses, watched 5 people who arrived after us get served before we were. Missed a very important appointment because of it. Not likely to shop at that location again, frankly this is a bit of a theme with Superstore so I may just stop supporting loblaws all together. Do better please.

Edit: 10/25/23. The Store itself is fine though, and if it was not for my awful luck with the phone service, It would be 5/5 stars.

Trying to Call In to ask if a item is in stock, took me over half a hour to reach some one. When I finally about to get a answer, they hang up on me.

Online order was nothing bot waste of time. My order was incomplete so I had to go drive around for half hour just to come back and wait again

Anything you can't find elsewhere, Superstore has it. Plus, buying locally is good for the economy!

Good location. Lots of tills were open and didn’t have to wait long. They had everything we needed in stock. Was notified that due to the City’s new Bylaws they could no longer offer bags, so we had to purchase a reusable bag for $2. It’s a sort of a must buy if you didn’t know this before. Some stores offer paper bags instead which I believe is a good option as not everyone would like to purchase a bag.

Lots of shelf were empty. I was looking for something cant find staff to help me direct me to the location.

Great place for grocery. Has covid safety measures. Many food, clothes and other household and non-food options.

Benny was a lot of help. It was late in the day around 8, and even though he looked so tired, he went out of his way to help us and bring in more ginger from the back. He was doing something else yet he was glad to help and brought it back in 2 mins and right after helped someone else out. He seems like a very good employee and a nice guy:)

My favourite grocery store. Best day is Thursday before 3pm to pick fresh grocerry with good price

Always used to come here with my mom when I was a child still love the place hopefully I can do business with this store sometime soon to help expand my small business

A good experience did not have to wait long at the cashier's but some of the shelfs were bare because of the hoarders

Horrible store now.junkies hang around there leave needles, garbage, and they harass my family as we go there. I choose to go to buylow foods now. I hope you guys get that cleaned up.

Very dirty location
Never sny shopping carts available, I brought this up with a employee who called a manager over and she told me to go walk around the parking lot until I found a cart. Lol

They need security to bounce this aggressive psycho in a wheelchair who was terrorizing young families as they packed groceries and kids into car while she demanded five dollars and a pack of cigarettes from each victim she sought out it was do appalling to see this woken thinking she was owed this by people wow and they bug and harass homeless people

Always good aesome service they have every other thing that you needed for daily use from food to clothes and baby stuff everything

Superstore has the best selection, variety, & prices in all of Canada. No other grocery store even comes close. Not even Walmart. This particular store is clean & well organized. The best to shop is during weekday mornings in order to avoid crowds. Dont forget to collect your optimum points, which in turn can be redeemed for free groceries. Walmart has no such program. The choice is clear. Support canadian businesses like Loblaws.

Very bad exp with super store. My son bought a cake from real canadian super store and it is full of molds. I want to aware health and safety authorities of canada surrey to look in to this matter and take suitable action agaist them. I complained about it to store manager and she was ready to refund but this is not a matter of refund this is a matter of health and safety of canadians. Please guide where should i complaint about it.

Store is nice but the online order pick-up service is just terrible. I’m writing this as I’m waiting for my medium order (food for me and my wife for a week). So not a crazy long list of stuff. Well I’ve been waiting for 1 hour now. Why setting up pick up time slots if I’m gonna wait one full hour? Straight up asinine.

Yesterday I got really annoyed because I was waiting in the cashier for 20 mins because the cashier was taking to long. After he finished scanning the costumers items the cashier leaves the register and goes off to look for costumers missing groceries. He went off for about 20 mins and left us waiting. His name is John and he was in cashier number 7. I didn't have all day waiting for a cashier to get a costumers items I have things to do like appointment to be at and a family at home. Please fix this problem because I was very annoyed and not satisfied

The best store ever they always have items in stock at a reasonable price I love going there and finding cheap little gimmicks I only go to superstore now because it it much cheaper than save on and Safeway the products are fresh and they have international foods. I always get lost looking at all the cool items. I go for one thing and I come back with many this store is the best and I can’t say that enough! My favourite item is … everything there is so much to choose from I just recently got 2 blue plastic cups for only $ 0.94 each. And you may be thinking that’s only for other products not grocery’s but sometimes the asparagus goes on sale for $2 instead of $5 so I just love this store so much you have to go there!

Staff are friendly and helpful, manager is keeping the store and surrounding areas up very nicely also! Night and day change from previous manager Don who ran store into the ground!

Today I went to buy groceries. I saw an onion on sale, a package of onions costs 2.47, I took three packages. And when I came to the checkout, they knocked out the price 2.98. I told the saleswoman that the price of this onion costs 2.47 and the price tag is so big, you can see it from She asked me to wait until she clarified the price. If you put the product on sale, why are you cheating our customers and knocking out more than it costs. It's the manager’s fault that I didn’t finish. Next time I’ll call the main office, they followed the cheated us customers. Because of the price I give 2 stars, the service at the checkout is very good and the cashiers are very polite.

Very busy location lines down the aisles seems over crowded even during covid 19 I don't usually come to this location as I find it difficult to shop compared to other locations staff is blan they don't seem cheery maybe that's due to the overly crowded atmosphere other than that it's your typical superstore

The online service is really good. They get what we need and also the delivery person is always so gentle with the groceries definitely would recommend

Just. The. Worst.

They substituted tons of things on my online order for more expensive options, and took 30 minutes to bring me my order. I got home and they forgot 2 of the most important items and still charged me for them.

I called for a return and was told (by a very nice employee) that it can take 2 weeks for a manager to process my return. For your mess up!? Never coming here again.

The good: tons of parking, large aisles (easy to social distance, blah blah) open until 11pm, and you can buy groceries, underwear and Nintendo games lol.
The bad: product on shelves is often messy and left in the cardboard box with the front cut off (not worth losing a full star but worth mentioning because sometimes the product itself is cut) the produce doesn't seem to get culled frequently, often times subpar produce is left out when it should probably be composted, and their steaks.why the heck are they cut so thick?

Nice Covid safe environment. Large selection of all grocery needs. Underground parking for those rainy day.

Went in for the groceries and our cart was full that means got whatever we wanted. But the disappointing part is the cashier didn't even dare to help us out putting our items in the bag. She was acting like a monotonous doll tired of her job. The moment she cashed me out and I was still putting my things in the trolley, she just turned her face away in order to avoid helping us put our things. Highly highly disappointed. She should know that the top priority of the job is customer service which she failed to deliver.

I have had good experiences with the staff being friendly and they do a great job of curbside pickup too. We appreciate them doing what they can to allow customers to shop even if they're not ready to shop in person yet.

Experienced the WORST Express pickup service Friday evening. Showed up at 740pm for the 7-8pm time slot.waited well over 1 hours and watched 3 cars loaded that showed up after we did. Frustrated with the lack of order organizing by whomever loads carts.only 2 clerks delivering to a pack lot.need to get some more help if getting overwhelmed. Might look for another grocery store if they can't deliver orders in a timely manner.

This place has got everything. LP gas cylinders to food every item you need for household Outdoors this your One-Stop Shop til You Drop store. Although there was a lot of cars in the parking checkout was extremely fast. I went to customer service to get it LP Cylinder filled they had someone down in the park Aid waiting on me by the time I got my items are loaded into my car I just want to say thank you

Always seem to be out of some shopping items. Have been out of sanitizer for when customers walk in as well which is disappointing.

Instacart shopper here. I've shoped many brands and locations throughout surrey, delta Langley and New West. You are by far the best grocery store by far.

Its great how you have a giant underground parking lot so my customers orders don't get wet. Im there usually at least 2-8 times a day and have the recipes to prove it.

I usually only shop at 104 superstore.

Look for the white guy with his hair tied, wearing all black. You guys are the best.

Agree with the comment that they are next best after Costco. Prices are more reasonable, and meat and produce selection is fresher. They have a wide variety of ethnic foods now, although the one on King George has more. Garden center is a nice touch in the spring. Kids under 12 like the free cookie available from the bakery.

I've been shopping with them for many years in store and lately through their online service. Staff are usually friendly and helpful.

Did you know that all the superstores have different prices so example feta cheese at guilford location is 6.00 and the superstore on king george is 7.00 some items are more expensive than other superstores. One company should have the same price for same product at all superstores.

Tried twice to get a cart that didn't have a wheel that was square. I sounded like a freight train going down every isle. "Kachunka, kachunka, kachunka" Made for such an unpleasant shopping experience.

So I wanted to write this to the company hopefully someone important sees this! I shop at superstore (guildford) all the time and when I get to the checkout I struggle to find an employee whose quick, professional and friendly. Until I met TAMMY (older lady with short white hair and a spark in her personality). I went to superstore yesterday and saw her at a till and I ran to her! This women is beyond amazing she knows her stuff for sure and should deff be recognized for being a star employee! I continuously have issues with my point system and one chat with her and she fixed my frustrations! She is always smiling, so friendly and offers me great service! I would deff say that this women changes my opinion when shopping in store! I look forward to finding her and shopping in her lane knowing she will always do her job 100% and make my day better! So hopefully someone important sees this and rewards her for the service she provides for the superstore company because shopping for groceries never really impresses me with cashiers. BUT NOT WITH TAMMY she has been a pleasure to talk to!

It has almost everything you might need and the staff are helpful and friendly! It is considerably transit friendly since you can get there from Surrey Central or Guildford through various bus route options.

This is the typical Superstore in terms of item selection and the way they run everything. However, the quality of customer service is beyond other Superstores that I have shopped at.
Since I live nearby this location, employees have come to know my name and what items I usually buy. They always have a smile on their face and friendly demeanor. There is a catch, however.
At the beginning, the pharmacy staff were discriminatory towards me and a certain, life-saving medication that I require each day. My insurance covers it but it is difficult to establish when I go to a new pharmacy. The staff would NOT listen to me when I told them specifically HOW to set it up. They were treating me very badly because of the stigma towards me and my medication.
After I complained to the manager, that issue smoothed out over time, and I received an official apology to them. They began to treat me with respect, unlike my first few visits to the pharmacy. Because of their ability to go above and beyond to fix that issue, I grew respect for the staff at Superstore, including the pharmacy staff.

It has a big covered parking place, if you travel eastbound going to the store, that's convenient, but if you travel westbound, the traffic is lot (on 104 Ave), you will be waiting a long time during daytime.

Great Mall staff in every store I went to were friendly, supportive and every store was clean and spacing was great no difficulty walking around.

Only thing which if turn off for me underground parking area, there so many homeless I mean no offence but sometime I don’t feel safe if my wife or sister goes by herself. Like how if they rob something. Just my thought, otherwise from last, 2 years nothing happened.

Groceries are new and fresh, one of my favorite except Walmart, T&T Supermarket, Cosco and Loblaw etc.

All registers open in weekends is nice. Groceries quite a bit more expensive than Walmart. More to choose from though.

I used to work at this Superstore, nice clean environment. Timing is crucial since the typical problem exists.

Wait times avg. (Varies on traffic in store)

~ Cashiers opened (upon 15 visit experience)
- 3 cashiers

~ Cashier lines length - 8 people

~ Cashier time per person (avg 10 items) exempt of express lines or self checkout
- 3 mins per person avg.

The problem is cashier service skills, the calm and patient manner causes extended wait times in lines. If there was better communication with the staff stationed above seeing the lines growing, and setting up more cashiers for flow, then this superstore would exceed typcial wait times in the lower mainland.

*Reference* If we view the videos of how cashier standards were demonstrated vs how we deal with their service now, there would be a huge difference rather than slight changes.

When people come to view these reviews, they dont browse to read comments, they expect to have a better understanding of service. On all my reviews i give dedicated reviews.

Employee helped with self serve checkout quickly and was very nice! Favourite superstore to go to, really enjoy shopping there.
