Real Canadian Superstore

Shelves are mostly empty. Kelowna has a population of 140,000 yet this store is still managed like a small town store. Fruit and vegetables are never there, or they sell rotten stuff. Self checkout is a headache.

Place is always stocked and busy! They sell everything from groceries, to deli, clothes (joe fresh brand), home furnishings, pans, crockery, baking stuff, lottery, organic produce, supplements, baking stuff, toys etc.

I almost always use the self checkouts, but today I decided to go to a cashier. Was greeted warmly with cheerful smiles by Marg. She even paid attention to the name associated with my membership card and the interaction felt personal and professional. This was outstanding.

Also, there's always something you can find at Superstore that fits my budget and lifestyle.

A little confusing right now that they are renovating. A little disappointed that we had to learn from another customer there is a list at the end of the aisle stating which aisle a product is located. You would think a staff member would have offered that information when I inquired about where things were.
UPDATE
Prices are getting a bit out of control. When I made a comment to the cashier about how high prices were getting her reply was, "I don't care. " I thought that was rude and not very good customer service. I wasn't being rude, just making a comment.

Kudos to Heather, she realizes the cash lanes were getting busy, and she immediately opened a cash lane to help customer check- out fast. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help customer. Keep it up Heather.

Unlike most shopping stores they do not charge $3 or more per item lately. The shelves were stocked and there were a lot of deals. It isn't as stressful getting the grocery bill as places like save on foods which charge $2 to $4 extra per same brand items. I wish that they would add back in a deal for buying a certain amount at the till. I do not like being rushed bagging with a large grocery shop.

Cashier this morning was rude, sorry that I asked you to get a price check on something. Didn't realize it would ruin your day

Kudos to produce manager that sourced the honey pomelos we bought yesterday. Very tasty and juicy as pomelos good. As well at an great price.

Click and collect service has gone downhill - sometimes you have to book 2 days in advance to get the time slot you want. I'll probably not use this service again, which is sad because I've been using it before covid and it's just a total pain to deal with now.

I could not find a big turk in the whole store, but came across several kinder bueno's. In what world is coconut wafer cookies preferential to turkish delights?

Went to the kelowna location at 820pm Sunday October 10th 2021. The shopping experience was fine, i went to lane 10 or 11 and the lady at the till "leslie" asked me why I wasn't wearing a mask. I politely responded with " I have medical issues, and my doctor has recommended I dont wear one " and she responded with "NO YOU DONT " in a rude manner. Very unprofessional. I asked her what her name was and she ignored me, I was able to see her name tag before leaving. I expect more from a giant corporation like this.

If you were wondering where Kelowna's anti maskers' favorite shopping place is then look no further. Probably one third of people shopping there tonight were not wearing a mask.

Always busy, but never much of a wait. Although people's mask wearing skills are.dare I say hilariously poor.shirt masks, crumpled masks, only covering nose or mouth. Haven't we been doing this for 18 months already?

Store was mainly clean and tidy. Some areas were short-stocked (no regular eggs, only more expensive brown and organic ones, and no two-liter milk jugs were the shortages that I noticed), and I found the self-checkout signage a bit confusing (the line goes down an aisle but isn't very clearly marked). Staff members were helpful with directing self-checkout flow.

Zero star for this store, this is the second time I am buying coconut and got home only for it to be dirty and bad. Almost $4 worth of coconut bad. Never buy any coconut from superstore, it’s probably been sitting there for months

I was in and out in about a 1/2 hr, right around the busiest time of day, 17: 00-17: 30 july 26,2021, the ladies at the sushi kiosk were very helpful, and Jan the cashier was awsome! Will definitely go to you guys instead of walmart any day!

Great! Nice and clean as well as organized. Superstore is always too much fun to shop at. So be careful and spend money wisely! Lol

They are a fully stocked Super store with a bonus icbc office in the store. I believe it's open Sunday for insurance. That is very handy factor to keep in mind open till 9: 00 pm.

Long lineups, shelving is way too high for short people, cashiers are friendly, stock personal ; NOT SO MUCH! HAD ONE ROLL HIS EYES AT ME, BECAUSE I COULDN'T REACH THE 98 cent POP ON TOP SHELVE,

For the most part it's a great store with lots of variety in its products but I was wrongfully accused of being a petty theif and subsequently publically embarrassed by their in house loss prevention team as they escorted me through the store and outside as if I was actually caught stealing, which for the record I was never caught with anything I had not already paid for byor had concealed before I left. In fact they found nothing on me or in my pockets or backpack after they pulled me upstairs into a holding room and systematically went through everything I had on or was wearing and after finding nothing I did not pay for they still treated me like I was stealing and escorted me out of the store and banned me from coming back. Did I mention I wasn't caught with anything I did not have a receipt for.

This has become my go-to grocery store in Kelowna. Always well stocked and staffed. Just wish the other patrons were as friendly as the staff is!

I came across this very nice worker named Jordana and although she seemed busy, she was able to help me find my Goldfish. She was very nice and pleasing. She deserves a raise if anything. Superstore is the best.

I use to buy my grossery at Superstore a lot, but after a while I noticed that the vegetables are not fresh and sometimes they don't have enough refill in their shelves. Many times I found them empty, specialty in vegetables.

I like this place, not wild about the line ups however they do make a great effort to get everybody through with what they have to work with, also awesome selection

So many sale items are messed up. Hair colour I usually buy all on sale except my colour. Russell Stover sugar free chocolates all on sale except my fave. Dove shampoo and conditioner. Sign said one was on sale not the other. I thought of bite the bullet and buy matching shampoo and conditioner anyways. Got to the till. Neither one was on sale. Waited for a price check and they said nope. There's no sale sign there.wth! I left lots at the cashier. Not impressed.

This is not my usual grocery store, but I really enjoy shopping here. I always find some kind of deal.

Decent groceries, and selection. Not your vegetable market of choice, but a good one stop shop.

Unfriendliest customer service dept i have ever seen in this superstore, I te get eye rolls and unwelcoming look from lady at cust service desk, totally rude behaviour for requesting refunds and split the charges in 2.

It's has a great selection except produce goes fast. And pricing is often wrong. You end up having to go back to customer service.

I think the managements should spend more time working and properly train the staff. Poor service and shelves are empty. Pallets and pallets full of merchandise in the aisles for 3 days.

Most of you probably don’t need to know that superstore offers cheaper prices. However, ifYou find they are lacking some products you need, go to the West Bank one.

If what you're into is paying ~$18/kg for a rubbery gristley roast or ~$15/kg for ground beef that you can literally wring the water out of, and being rewarded with the privilege of bagging your own groceries, then this is the place for you!

This store always has what's on my grocery list. Unfortunately, the staff are either unhelpful or mildly rude with responses.

It's a Superstore all superstores are the same large crowds ignorant people and okay produce but decent prices

Mostly fair price for what you buy. But watch for the product expiration date, especially at dairy and bakery. You will always get immediate help if you ask.

It pays to shop at SUPERSTORE even for smaller orders. The prices are mostly better all around and the savings will more than exceed the gas you used to get there.there you have it.

When I go to superstore its very hard to find product because everytime its out of stock. Specially in Natural, dairy, and bakery section.

I was pleased with the service I received from the mobile shop in Superstore. They were friendly, helpful, and made purchasing a new cell phone a breeze. It took awhile to get everything set up, but that was not due to the employee. He was cordial and apologized a few times for the timely manner it took, even though I reassured him all was good. Thanks again, muchly appreciated.

Unable to get a shopping cart without a Dollar. I was told there was no other way to get one. Other superstores have provided the cart without a coin as we move towards a society that doesn't use cash.

I did a curbside order and was really disappointed. The items online were not labelled correctly, causing me to buy in bulk for an item that I don't want. (description and photo didn't match. Item I received was the photo, and not the title and description).
I also got a carton of chocolate milk with an expiry date only 2 days away.
The young man who brought the groceries out to my car was very pleasant, he is the reason that I gave 3 stars, instead of 1.
