Every single time I went I had to wait 45+ minutes to see Dr McInnes. This last time I left after AN HOUR of waiting and listening to my doctor make phone calls for 25 minutes in the next office. I walked out and will not come again. If they had once actually been helpful, it would have been worth it. But I’ve never even had a successful treatment from this office. Dr McInnes told me he had never seen my condition before, even though it is not uncommon. A doctor without sufficient experience to treat his patients should transfer them to a better colleague.
In the end, I never received my MRI results and they never sent a report to my family doctor, making the entire experience of waiting to get into this clinic a waste of my time and energy. This clinic thinks that because they are the only specialists in Victoria, they can treat patients like garbage.

Worst customer sevice I have ever had. Receptionists didn't communicate my appointment cancellation. When I showed up for my appointment (took a day off from work and drove 200km to get there and back), receptionists were neither polite nor attentive. Negative experience with this organization; please re-train receptionist personnel.

Warning*** regarding sending your children to see Dr Agnieszka Kowalczyk - this "sports medicine pediatrician" will fat shame our vulnerable children, has poor bedside manner (speaks about child as if child is not present which is not ok) & in *2023* uses old an school BMI index which disregards muscle, tone, activity & growth spurts. I Do not recommend having your child under her care - certainly nor do I recommend bringing your child to the office if you do go to see her, go alone, because our children are susceptible to negative body image issues which can really impact them.hey doc, guess what, kids are meant to put on weight they are *literally growing. * My child left her office feeling "not strong" and "overweight" because she is tall and has been swimming a lot so has put on muscle. Terrible experience. How is it that my doctor recommends a 6 month recheck, and I need to do a second referral in order for her to see me for that appointment? The worst thing is, I was not told about this when I booked the appointment, but just a couple of weeks before it. What is the point of doing a 6-month recheck if you cannot do a 6-month recheck?
Receptionist was unreasonable and rude as well.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Drew Bowie, Rheumatologist. I couldn’t be more impressed with him. He was so knowledgable, caring, and helpful. I would highly recommend him, and I am grateful to be in such great hands. And I loved that there was a survey following my appointment with very relevant questions about the care I received. Kudos to him and to ReBalance!

Treatments I’ve ever had. My knee replacement surgeon, Dr Tortensen, is skilled, clever and kind. My nurse navigator is super helpful and the rehab practitioners are inspiring.

After moving my cortisone injections from rebalance to the pain clinic so I no longer had to pay for them. I essential dropped as a patient. I stopped receiving emails from dr. McInnes and when I contacted them I was told I no longer had a doctor or an open file with them. I am still in need of a double hip replacement but not their issue. New referral is needed. To see anyone there.

After opting a treatment offered for free from bc health vs paying rebalance I stop receiving care/correspondence from my doctor. When I called to enquire I was told I was no longer a patient and needed a second referral to continue my orthopaedic care. When asked for leniency in this matter I was interrupted and told to get another referral.
Seemed all they cared about was how they could bill me on top of bc health.

My wife had 2 appointments both where on time both doctors where friendly and took the time to explain what has to be done dr burnett and dr schwarzentruber thank you.front staff is nice and professional.please dont make her wait 9 monts.thank you from michael the poor husband.

I was there for PRP injection this morning. Doctor who received me said on our first visit (2 weeks ago) that my insurance was going to cover the injection. It was a horrific surprise to discover after injection this morning (by the clerk) that no, my insurance is not covering the fees! 615$. I was treated very well and I am sure the treatment will work. Although, I am definitely not impress by this malpractice where you tell a client he will be reimburse when you do mot know the outcome. 615$ is not small change!
That was my last visit with them. If you can't be honest enough to say that before procedure, you do not deserve me as a client!

I Went there for my knee and I had such a rude and awful doctor. She was useless, told me there was nothing really wrong with my knee, when it’s been 6months and two ER trips and my knee doesn’t get better. Clearly there’s something wrong with my knee. She told me before my mri that it really wouldn’t be necessary for it because there was nothing wrong. She tried making me go to there physio place when I told her multiple times I can’t but she wouldn’t take no as an answer.

Dr. Muise is awesome. Her assistant however, should come with a warning label. Haha

The majority of my interactions have been with nurse practitioners, Orthopedic surgeon (Dr Camus) and the kinesiologists (helping me rehab after 1st knee replacement). Everyone has been amazing apart from one slightly cool reception at the front desk (but in fairness, she’d just had a difficult patient). Super professional, responsive, thorough, encouraging, empathetic and on top of their game from first appt with Dr Camus and Nurse Practitioner, through to surgery and rehab by the amazing team of kinesiologists doing the majority of the rehab work. I’m so grateful to Dr Camus for his skill and professionalism and also kinesiologist Ludwig for seeing me through to strengthening my knee post surgery.

Have been waiting 3 months for resolution of referrals and heard nothing. Left a message for the office manager who simply ignored calling me back and just passed my complaint on to whom I was complaining about. I get a voicemail mail stating I never made any efforts to contact them! This review got me a call to advise me they can’t help me any longer. Zero accountability for people. Zero empathy. Helping people seems like it’s not on their playlist. Sad.

I found Dr. Dryden so personable, cautious, professional and an EXCELLENT and talented surgeon, so if you’re worried don’t be he’s amazing.
I have a friend who also had Dr. Torstenson, he did his knee replacement, my friends knee was so bad. Four months ago. You should see how happy he is todsy, able to walk without pain, easy recovery. And he loved dr. Torstenson too. It’s a great place THANK YOU

Dr. Tan is so caring and empathetic. Really gets to know her clients and cares. If you are lucky enough to be seeing her TRUST you will have the BEST personalized and efficient care.

There are a few things I like about this clinic. The location is great, it’s nice and open and there is a wide variety of equipment for use. Some big negatives for me though. I find the front desk staff to be rather unfriendly at times and they brush me off as if I’m not important. After looking at the reviews it appears I’m not the first to mention that.
I don’t have to pay the full $100 due to benefits and I’m so glad I don’t because even at $50 I don’t feel I get the price a pay for in value. Possibly it’s due yo not being open weekends but I think they over book during the week. I go for 45 minutes but only see him for about 10 to 16 minutes. The rest of the time I’m by myself doing the exercises he’s given me (hopefully correctly) while he is off helping 3-4 other people. One time I wasn’t and I ended up sore in a whole other way. The appointments should be undivided attention I think.

Better experience with a bone Doctor who was very helpful, went over XRAY results with me, did a complete physical examination of the shoulder, and gave me a clear vision with no MRI imaging necessary for the shoulder issue. Good work!

This review is for my total hip replacement. I had my THR back in September 2022 by the highly skilled Dr. Pugh and had an excellent outcome. I would highly recommend him. I was very nervous about this surgery but very glad I had it done. I'm on the younger side for a THR and due to that I thought my recovery would be fast. I have to say it was long and much harder than I expected - I don't know how you could do it without help, especially during the first weeks. But I'm happy to say I now have absolutely no pain. One of my legs feels longer than the other but it's just an alignment problem from what I understand and I do see it improving with time. I would give this review 5 stars for Dr. Pugh and the fact that Rebalance is something of a one stop shop, but gave it only 4 stars because of the physio at Rebalance. You get physio included for free but only 3 visits, which were hurried and my therapist was distracted by other things, not really paying attention to what I was doing. I feel this is very inadequate for a major surgery such as THR. I did supplement this with the THR physio program at Parkway and that made all the difference.

If I could give this place (dump) a 0 I would. I found the receptionist calus, rude and uncaring. The doctor even worse. I work Graveyard shifts. I had 5 people in my family pass away and did call in to let them. The receptionist was so unprofessional and snotty. I kept my pins in my arm rather than subject myself to their abuse and misuse of power. They're supposed to be there help a support? DON'T WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON THESE PEOPLE. And not to mention they are above taking regular medical coverage they like the $$$ not the people or helping them. They didn't even give me a chance to explain! And ONE would better seeking help more caring people. People who not full of themselves and aren't focused on GREED!

My post-surgery (total knee replacement) physio treatment (paid for by MSP) consisted of an initial assessment by a physiotherapist. For subsequent sessions I was "seen" by UVIC students who told me they were taking kinesiology courses: none had graduated or qualified as registered therapists. I had to continue treatment at my own expense elsewhere. In short: RebalanceMD is ripping off the BC health care system.
