Red Barn Market

It’s a shame how much things have deteriorated here. This use to be an amazing place with the best produce and best meats. Has gone down hill so much in the last 4 years. Will no longer buy any produce or meat here as it is so often moldy, rancid, tough or poor quality to eat. It has gone from being our most favourite neighbourhood place to shop to the last place I would go for food. Check expiration dates closely! Staff are still great.

Some employees in this store discriminate against the Chinese very seriously. The white people check out as if they saw their ancestors, and the Chinese check out as if they saw flies. If we didn’t live nearby, I wouldn’t come to this supermarket (only this time).

Nice place to buy some groceries. Watch for the specials. Fantastic meat products and great sandwiches. We mainly go for produce and Red Barn meats. Clean and usually well stocked.

I always am cheered up when I shop here. Happy to support a local business, I explore their great selection for such a small place, and find things to enjoy. I will go there just for the olives. The place is clean, well stocked, service is friendly. If prices aren't the cheapest, you get what you pay for. (Besides, I offset that with shopping at thriftstores, and Costco for some things.) A very positive experience for me, anytime.

We are hooked on stopping in the morning for fresh-made sandwiches, drinks, chips, snacks, and desserts to take along for our day vacationing on the island.
The sandwich counter is amazing with giant wraps being made while customers happily wait in line to get them.
The store has a great selection of pre-made and packaged sandwiches, desserts, sweetbreads.to grab if you are in a hurry.
You will find all of the items you would at a small grocery store here.
Most of the other shoppers seem to be locals who were fun to visit with as well as giving some great ideas of places to visit.

It can be a bit limiting in supplies, but keep in mind they try to support local. They have a very nice sandwich bar, which is great to grab a fresh bite to eat for a picnic. Produce is generally fresh.

Had a butcher’s problem with a product… it took days but it’s been fixed/resolved. I have my faith restored. Thank you RB.
