Reflections : The Garden Terrace

We visited Reflections on Christmas day. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The decorations were really beautiful. I requested a high table near the Christmas tree and they very graciously managed to seat us there. We had warm True North cocktail in the Santa cup and Lobster Benedict. The food was simply delicious. My server Sophie was very nice and accommodating. She also took several pictures when I requested. The manager David really made my day by offering a complimentary dessert. Overall I had a great experience!

Horrible experience prior to Christmas. Sent two emails to hotel and no feedback. Late to be seated, stuck in terrible location, 45 minutes to get a drink. No service and no feedback to concern.

Beautiful restaurant to visit especially during their holiday season. The overall atmosphere and vibes were perfect. Such a comfortable and welcoming place to eat. The presentation of the drinks were also amazing. I ordered the Festive G&T and I loved it.

For food we ordered the tuna tartare, antipasto, risotto and gnocchi. Everything was decent!

Just amazing place, drink is good, vibe is great, just working hours are really short! And hard to make reservations

The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience (Ting &Taufik). The food is always fantastic.

Great service, i didn't like the steak and the server directly took away even send us another dish. I def would like to come back to ear some other time.

The atmosphere and service was great, however the food is very mediocre. I tried their rigatoni and it was definitely subpar.

The place is incredible, especially during "The Winter" setting. A special shoutout to Chef Sushant who made our experience incredible and provided exceptional service.

Beautiful space filled with beautiful people. The decor is perfect and the service is top-notch. Food portions are small and drinks and food are expensive but you're paying for the space and the service, which is worthwhile. We had one weird experience with the hostess but it was still a very enjoyable time.

I couldn’t believe that i missed this place from last so many years. Thanks to my partner in crime who always shortlist unique places to eat a delightful meal.

Honestly this place is ideal for a romantic date or a corporate meal as well. Because it is terrace garden so the natural beauty of plants, skyline with big buildings standing tall and tinkling lights adds to already beautiful ambiance.

Kitchen and bar is in the entrance but you barely notice them as tables are laid out all over the floor.

As far as food and drinks are concerned, i would say marvellous. We don’t drink alcohol so when we get non-alcoholic drink prepared so well, we know the cocktails would be amazing as well. Our salad was delightful. Just look at the dishes presentation so beautiful. The taste was amazing as well. The pasta was heavy on stomach because of the cream used in it but the fish dish was so light and fluffy at the same time creamy/buttery. Enjoyed every bite and every moment spent there due to beautiful music and people around.

Rudest staff ever. As someone who lives in the Private Residence at Hotel Georgia, I would be a regular if the staff were not so rude and unwelcoming. The host/hostess's are particularly who I am referring to. I have been to Reflections 4 times and each time I have gotten attitude from staff. I won't be back.

First and last time here. For this level of hotel, the service and food was as good as a gas station. Seriously the burger patty was a pre frozen thin piece of junk that was over cooked and crusty on the edges, like chewy. Beyond over priced for everything. It was laughable really. Could not believe the clown show of service. Never again, do not go.

Came here for my girlfriends birthday. Waited over 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. Drinks were great (ordered the $200 Christmas tree) although it took 40 minutes. Nissa was our server, great at the start then once there was a hair in our flatbread we never saw her. Manager took over 40 minutes to come by.overall disappointed in the service. No apology, no accountability. Won’t be back.

Great entrees, good cocktails and OK shareables. Ambient is beautiful and service was great. Prices are ~30% more just because of location and ambient, the quality of food/drinks does not follow

An absolutely beautiful experience. The entire ambience and selection of superb quality cocktails and culinary options were truly amazing. I would strongly recommend this for all to experience.

We made reservations for 4 people for dinner on Christmas and when we were showed to our table, it was a low coffee table. Not something you would want to eat dinner off of. I discussed this with the waitress who could not guarantee when a regular table would be available to move to.
Shortly we were moved to a much better table.
We ordered sparkling wine, cocktails & a bottle of wine.
We ordered the prime rib from the fixed menu that included an appetizer and desert.
The appetizer took a long time to arrive. So long they thought we had finished it and arrived with the plated prime rib.
They adjusted and brought our appetizers.
When it was time for the prime rib it was lacking au jus. We asked for some on the side. They brought turkey gravy.
My prime rib was a couple of thin slices while I observed other plates of prime rib cut as full slabs going by our table.
The Yorkshire puddings were barely warm and did not taste fresh.
The wait staff were kind ad professional and our waiter was great.
If it wasn’t for them the review would have been barely 1 star.
I expected much more for the $$$$ that I spent.
This was not what I expected from a restaurant of this caliber.
Not sure I would return based on the quality of the product vs money spent.

I have been here many, many times over the years. It pains me to give a 3 star rating to this beautiful venue, however every experience I've had here solidifies my thoughts.

The service is almost never good. In the summer, my table waited 40+ mins for our first round of drinks. Last night, we waited over an hour for sushi when tables who had sat after us were receiving their food (sushi included). Our waitress was lovely and kept offering us snacks, so no blame to her.

At this venue, you are paying premium prices (around $30 a cocktail) and not receiving a premium service - that's just the top and bottom of it.

The decorations and atmosphere are very festive and comfortable. The food is good but overpriced. The drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced. After my husband paid, the server came back and asked if her service was okay. It seems that she thought her tip was too small. Okay well first of all, he tipped an appropriate amount, but even if he had only tipped $1, its WILDLY inappropriate for the server to approach someone like that. I will not be returning.

Great ambiance. Slightly chilly if sitting at the far end. Food was decent. Good service. Gets packed in there so make reservations!

Honestly I rarely write a bad review but we had an absolutely horrible experience at Reflections today. I understand that it is Christmas and the restaurant is very busy. Perhaps it was a lack of training on the front end or it was under staffed but we waited over at 90 minutes for a table for brunch specifically. We left to do some shopping and came back were told that we should have a table “soon” and “another 10 to 15 minute wait” multiple times and finally when they did have a table for us we were told that the kitchen was closed and they could only offer drinks. We met several other groups with reservations that told us that they were sat, served water, waited, no server came, and then when they finally came they were also told that they couldn’t eat but only have drinks. We were all there to eat brunch. We would have left much earlier if they had managed expectations better and we weren’t kept waiting on hold. Room looked beautiful but overall a very disappointing experience.

Came for lunch and the food was pretty bad. We got the roll, chicken wrap and flatbread and they were all way below average. The roll tasted gross, better off getting a grocery store one. The chicken wrap was just pieces of fried chicken with romain on the side which was uninventive and pretty shocking. The flatbread was same as what you would get from frozen food aisle. The part of the restaurant with lights was pretty but not so much in the back. There was a table not so far back that we could’ve been seated at but someone from another table was sitting there. The hostess should’ve done a better job knowing which tables are available I made a reso a month ahead and hoped to be seated somewhere not so close to where servers/bussers take the dirty dishes. At one point there were just dirty dishes piled on beside our table. It seemed like they just crammed in additional tables to fit people in without really considering the experience of the people dining. I understand people go for the experience and the “vibe” but it was way off. Overall, this place is over hyped. Would recommend asking in advance for to be seated by the tree in the main area and also eating beforehand.

DISSAPOINTING SERVICE / SERVER. We recently went for the reason that the ambiance was great (according) to their add and posts. But was really disappointed when they are not prepared at all they should have known that its dec. And its gonna be cold with the forecast too BUT THEN.the heating is not good at all were like super cold while staying there. TO MAKE IT WORSE we ordered a starter and main course and some drinks. The food was good BUT the first appetizer that we ordered was the last one to arrive.the Mains arrived after we only had 2 bites of our appetizer, with the cold weather the mains already turned cold before we even finished our 2 appetizers we told our server SOPHIE she told the manager but she's not even apologetic at all she said "what do you want me to do? " (I'm like really? That's the kind of service you give us and attitude when it's your fault anyway?) BUT then we still talked with the manager nicely coz we didn't wanna ruin our night. ABOUT to finish our main course our aburi which we ordered first arrived! Great! Also that server, She was so fast to ask if we want more drinks coz she just want the sales but NEVER apologized about what happened. To Cap it off when she poured us water at the end, this server (SOPHIE) SPILLED water in my friends hand and on the table. She DIDNT bother to say Sorry (or even just looked appologetic at all) OR give as a napkin to wipe the spill on my friends hand OR even the wet table. (It's the worst service I ever had) And we had this dinner planed since Nov. And it's just all disappointing. What a bad experience specially on holidays. Never gonna eat there again just because of that awful server/service. NEVER reccoment it to anybody.

My favourite place to come for the holiday season! The decor and drinks are stunning.

Beautiful setting and staff were SUPER! We didn't have reservations and they found us a table.

Taufik our server was INCREDIBLE. As a server for two and a half years and as someone that has been out to many fine dining restaurants in Vancouver, I can whole heartedly say this was one of the most immaculate experiences I have had.

I have been to Reflections once before and was underwhelmed by the food for the price you pay, however this time the food was much better and seemed worthy of the price.

I have to talk about our server Taufik because he hands down made our experience something remarkable. Taufik was attentive, informative, kind, considerate, on point, made us feel like we were important customers to him and not just another group of people. He was incredibly accommodating to my friend who is gluten free and vegetarian, my other friend that had dietary issues because of pregnancy and was very respectful of some of our choices to not consume alcohol.

I have been sober for 11 months, and there are times when I go out when service staff tries to pressure sell alcohol which is an uncomfortable situation as someone who no longer drinks.

Lastly, Taufik went out of his way to help me and my group get all the fabulous photos to remember the evening. This was an amazing evening with amazing food, service, ambience and company. Thank you TAUFIK for remarkable service and a remarkable evening, you made all of us feel so special and brought so much joy to the birthday girl!
