The staff are always friendly and the service is consistently exceptional I travel into Vancouver from Richmond because of the customer service experience and the excellent job they do. Simply put, Jay at Regal Grooming Lounge gave me the best haircut ever. His talent, attention to detail and professionalism is of the highest standard, and the same goes for all of the staff there.

Jay is outstanding. Received the full service package: haircut, beard trim/shaping, eyebrow shaping, facial, and scalp treatment. He is a true professional in all of these services.

Had a haircut and eyebrow wax with Jay today. The cut was quick and what I wanted and he did a good job with my brows. A shade expensive but it was nice getting it all done in under 40 mins.

As a plus it was the least painful eyebrow waxing I've had.

Antonio was amazing listened to exactly what I wanted! Had a great conversation too! 10/10 recommend.

It was a flawless experience, I arrived 5 minutes before my booking time but I didn't have to wait at all, they welcomed me, offered me I drink and once I sat, Antonio took a look at the picture of the style that I wanted and he told me what we were going to do given that the length of my hair is not long enough just yet - and I really liked the result

Love my barber Simone, unfortunately I will not be back because I have been put off by the very evident money hungry corporate structure of this shop.

1) At one of my appointments where I showed up on time and started on time for my 30 minute haircut, someone from reception came up to my barber in front of my face and said "Do him in 20 minutes" - with no other context. I don't understand at all why I deserved to be treated in less time, when I showed up early and paid for a 30 minute service. Luckily Simone replied back with a bemused look and said "I'll try" and did my service in 30 minutes.

2) I had to cancel an appointment today because I had quite a bad sore throat. I made an attempt to cancel online the night before to avoid their <6 hour notice cancellation fee. The online system would not let me. As a courtesy, I called them first thing in the morning when they opened to let them know I cannot come in mainly because I wouldn't want anyone there to get sick from me.
The receptionist said at this point there is nothing she can do as it is within the <6 hour window, the system will automatically charge me the 50% cancellation fee. She said I could have left a voicemail last night and I would have the fee waived.
How does that make sense? If I left a voicemail the night prior, they would check it this morning and thus input the cancellation <6 hours to my appointment with the fee waived. Hence, it does not seem like a "system" issue like the receptionist indicated.

I understand if this had been a series of cancellation/missed appointments on my behalf, but this was my first cancellation ever at this place and I always arrived ten minutes early to each of my appointments as a courtesy. This single cancellation was for health reasons in protecting the staff. I asked the receptionist "Do you want me to come in sick then? I can. " and she said "No". I told her this lack of understanding and compassion for a 1st ever missed appointment likely means I will never be coming back, and she said there was nothing she can do.

I do feel bad for my barber Simone working here and effectively having the front staff ruin an ongoing client relationship. All this to lose a customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling anyone else considering this place to look elsewhere.

Bryan has been cutting my hair for about a year. He is friendly, professional and I am always happy with the results. The prices are reasonable and the staff at reception are welcoming.

Got a haircut from Jay. Very friendly, offered me a coffee in the beginning. Made sure I was happy and most importantly gave me a great haircut.

Antonio is the man! The attention to detail is impressive and the vibe of the place is nice too. A little on the pricier side but they justify it with the free drink and the attention to detail in the place itself and of course In the haircuts. If you want a fade - you can’t go wrong with Antonio!

I had Marco cut my hair for the first time since leaving the UK and am always very apprehensive about changing barbers but needed to find somewhere good in Canada. He listened and did exactly what I was after and I'm very pleased with the cut & service.

They are crooks working there just arbitrarily charging your credit card. They overcharge for services and we made an appointment and I told the front desk there was no appointment and she agreed and then charged my credit card without authorization! Management are scammers. Their excuse was Vancouver is too expensive! Never coming here again and will let others know!

Regal Grooming Lounge is One of Vancouvers best barbershops. They totally hooked me up and did an awesome job. I was offered a cold beer while I waited for my appointment. Marcus then took the time to see what I was looking for in a cut and executed perfectly.

Next was Renee with a hot towel shave. You can tell he takes his time to make sure you enjoy the shave.

Finally it was Katrice who took care of the hair wash and made sure I was happy with overall experience.

I had an awesome time here and will definitely be back.

I have been trying barbershops across town and have finally found the perfect place. Regal Grooming Lounge is phenomenal. You get exactly what you pay for and more. The level of service and care provided to you as a customer is top tier and you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. They only use the best hair products and their staff is highly knowledgeable in what best to use on you.

Rene was not only highly skilled but exceptionally receptive in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. He was friendly and I can comfortably say he gave me the best haircut I have ever received.

The price may be relatively high compared other places in town but you are getting more than a haircut; you are investing in becoming the best version of yourself. I will be back, thanks again!

I honestly have no clue how anyone would have a bad experience at this place. First of all, you get greeted with a smile at the reception and a free beer/whiskey (or whatever drink you’d like). And then you’re met with some of the most talented and nicest barbers in the city. I got my haircut from Luke and I have to say, he’s the most patient and understanding barber you’d meet. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and I walked out with a great mid-taper (I didn’t even know “taper” was a thing until now! Lol) Needless to say, highly recommend Luke.

Pretty disappointed with the haircut I received considering the price and how far I travelled to get there. I probably could have got the same at the Supercuts down the road for a fraction of the cost. I asked for a high fade, keeping the hair on top quite long. What I got was a very bog standard haircut with no fade. Complimentary drink was nice though. I won't be coming back.

I have been a regular at Regal for some time now and today had my first experience with Bryan - it was absolutely amazing and would recommend to everyone. Bryan is very thoughtful, collected and extremely attentive to details. He’s also just very pleasant to be around - would definitely be visiting again and again.

Easily one of the best shops I have been in the city. I have been to 8 different shops that market similar, but don't come close.
Front desk staff Friendly/professional, always greet you by name and offer you a drink.

The place looks better then most downtown lounges. Great layout with bar, several tv's, and a Cologne station.

Value: The Membership option is a great idea, something other places should adopt.

Stylists: Victor: I Strongly recommend him to anyone who want a consistently good haircut or new look. Up to date on all styles and offers his own opinion on what looks best. He genuinely enjoy what he does and it shows in his work. The extra beard line up at the end of every cut is a great addition. I will write another separate review of Mike who is also amazing.

I came in for a straight razor head shave and beard trim with Victor and was very impressed. He was friendly, humble and did a great job. I will definitely come back and see him next time I’m in town.

I have been going to see Victor for about 3 or 4 months now, and he is AMAZING. The entire salon is nice, and so friendly. Everyone knows your name, and you feel very welcomed when you arrive. Victor is such a skilled barber, I always leave feeling refreshed and taken care of! My beard and hair have never looked so good! I honestly cant say enough good things about him or Regal Grooming Lounge!

Victor was great and took my unruly hair to a sharp result, plus an awesome straight razor shave. He was friendly and chatty but also ok with not chatting if I was just chillaxing, which was perfect for me. Shaylene (sorry if I spelt wrong!) did a similarly great job on eyebrows. Glad I got the package, was very enjoyable and excellent results.

One of my best experiences was getting to know the vibe lounge. In fact, my perception of sports changed with the knowledge of this place, and I gained many points from the correct knowledge of my body. They are very professional.

When went there for a boys days out and the service was fantastic. They greeted us in a super friendly way and made us feel super welcome. Our hair cuts came out amazing and we even had a the most amazing shave. These guys/gals know how to make feel and look like a million bucks.

After few weeks waiting appointment, I went to Regal. I have been offered a drink while I was waiting. The staff is very polite and friendly. My hairstylist was Rua'a. I must say that waiting was total worth it. I got amazing haircut by her and she guided what products would work on my hair better. My friends & family also loved my hairstyle. I would highly recommend Regal and Rua'a for sure. She is pro. Definitely will go to this salon from no on. Best service in city.

I have been a client of Regal since 2016 and I have always had phenomenal experience! The staff are genuine, professional and they make me feel welcomed. I may even call Regal one of my “homes” in Vancouver. Simone is my barber and he is truly incredible. Not only that he is talented with the clippers and scissors, but he also listens to his clients’ needs and gives his 110%. I also appreciate that Simone continues to sharpen his skills by participating in barber competitions and still have time to give back to the community through fundraising events. I highly recommend Simone and I wish Regal more success.

After being extremely loyal to an other salon in downtown Vancouver for many years, my stylist took extended leave to another country, having heard commercials on TSN1040 Vancouver for Regal Grooming Lounge, I thought I would give it a try, I called and asked the receptionist if she could recommend someone experienced with cutting a male with curly hair which lead me to Ruaa who has cut my hair for over a year now and can honestly say that in my 50 plus years of looking for someone that I can trust to keep my hair looking good, I have found her in Ruaa. After over 50 years in my sales industry, I feel younger and look forward to face to face client meetings again soon once current restrictions are lifted.

This grooming lounge is the best in town. I usually chose Jordan to cut my hair and I believe he’s the best. Highly recommend this barber as he’s so friendly and professional.

The Shop itself is made to look well. Excellent services provided by the barber Shaelynn. I had a Haircut and Wash and Beard Shaping done and was 100% satisfied with the results. I love supporting local business's over big chains, this was one of my main reason going to Regal Grooming in addition to my friends recommendation. I would love to take a star off this review but I do not want to. The reason being that I had 2 appointments booked that is, one for myself and the other for my friend and for some reason he was not able to attend this appointment. Regal grooming does have a policy stating I believe "50 % charge if appointment cancelled less than 6 hours before appointment. " I was not aware that I can also cancel online so I called them and explained that me and my friend are from Winnipeg and is our first time here but I was not happy that Regal Grooming was not able to help me address this problem.

All was perfect at my first appointement! The 3 last ones, the employee was late, not like for 5 minutes no every time it was about 20-25min! She's doing an amazing job, she is still very professional, but when a client book an appointement with me I pay attention on my time! It's too bad just this things is wrong at your place but it's still very important for me!
We'll see if next time, she'll be on time if not it will be my last time! One more chance you have.

I had a great experience with a beard shaping from Mike at Regal. Every time I look at my beard that's reinforced. Totally transformed an unruly mess into something that looks good with a suit again. I recommend!

Have been there before and the haircut was just great and was done by Jordan. My last time there I got a haircut and beard trim by Sonia which was not worth the money I spent. She did an awful job and it did not look like the picture I showed her same as the previous times. She is for sure not a fit for such place. My haircut did not take as long and the last one and there was no attention to details whatsoever. I could get the same haircut and beard trim for $17 elsewhere not sure what qualifications they look for when hiring barbers. ‍️‍️‍️

Very clean establishment that offers a high level of customer service. As a man who has had few positive beard shaping experiences, they did an amazing job, and the hot shave was a beautiful way to end the visit. A great way to prepare for the wedding day.
