Reliable says same day shipping but the shipment takes 2 weeks to deliver to Ontario. For Appliance parts this is much too long. I think the need to improve their shipping performance.

Poor customer service; gave me the wrong part and were unhelpful and rude when we returned it for the correct part. Wasted time and fuel and didn't offer an apology or discount as compensation.

They have tons of appliance parts. Always able to find what I need on their online store. It's easy to find genuine parts with standard part numbers you find on your appliance, as they carry all major brands. Parts can be ordered online and be shipped (shipping fee) or picked up (free) when ready at the main distribution center or satellite location closer to you.

These guys are a bunch of crooks. Luckily I bought from them through PayPal so I was able to get my money back. They sent me a used broken part in a box and would not contact me about warranty even though day one. I took pictures and sent it in a 45 days later. I got my refund only because I bought it to PayPal and file the claim. These guys are out to take your money. Don't trust them because they will rip you off

Edit: 137 days later they started sending me spam. I never signed up for spam. I would have opted out if their order page provided the option. Rating dropped from 5 stars to 3.

Decent prices (I shopped around first), they had all the parts in stock that my Maytag dishwasher needed, and they shipped quickly. No complaints! The dishwasher is running great now, 20 years old but why retire it when I can fix it for 10% of the cost of a new one?

(reading the other reviews, it seems it helps to know what you're doing before you place an order, heh, I had actually noticed how "quiet" these guys are, most businesses are more communicative but I don't really care so long as I get the parts quickly)

I found the exact part I needed. Ordering was straight forward. Shipping charges reasonable. Item arrived promptly and was as expected. I will order from Reliable Parts again.

I ordered a part online and had not received an email advising me to pick up. I called the toll-free customer service number and was advised that he did "not see my order" in their system. He then said since it was an online order I had to speak to someone else (what the heck? !?). I then got voicemail and no return call! I paid through Paypal (thank God!) and received a confirmation from both PayPal and Reliable Parts so where is my order and why is it not in their system. Ridiculous! Clearly "Reliable Parts" is anything but reliable! Not impressed!

Needed a $8 part to fix my Saeco coffee machine. Ordered from Reliable parts online and it came all the way from BC to Montreal in just a few days. Part works flawlessly. I just wish the cost of shipping wasn't more expensive than the part I needed.

We ordered a LG door assembly and they shipped us a GE door assembly, box had correct label from shipper for part number but the part box had GE packaging. Requested to get assistance and call centre couldn’t find our order by telephone number so it took some time to find invoice and documentation to get corrected. Today finally got a hold lead customer service warranty specialists Julia Monsalvo and there response is - unfortunately it is too late now to claim for part.
I understand the time for credit or returns but this is not our fault when they ship us on correct item.

Ordered 2 parts online with crazy fast turn around time, receiving the parts next day. They had the parts in stock which was incredible because another online part company quoted me a 6 month lead time. Thank you!

Not so "Reliable". Waited 2 hours on the phone no answer. When I went in store, I called. And the staff looked at the phone and said "Ahhh They Can Wait" as I'm standing infront. Wasn't sure of my part number and was told "You should have done your research first before having me search it up" isn't that how you help customers?

Pretty bizarre experience. Called before hand about 2 parts for a dishwasher and a microwave. They said both were in stock at the North Bend location. Arrived there and the long grey haired hippie at the counter says "unavailable". And then suggested I can "look through the wall into the warehouse to find one similar". Bizarre, moronic comment from a person who doesnt seem to care about his job.

Can confirm the customer service is lacking at this particular location when calling in. Only words spoken upon answering were "please hold" After 32 mins of holding without a follow up to continue holding I had to hang up. You have lost a large valued purchase to your competitor due to the lack of communication. **Note this isn't the first negative review surrounding being on hold and lack of communication**

I paid for Loomis 3 days or less delivery and have been waiting for 2 weeks - each time I phone I get "we'll get back to you in 24 to 72 hours. I asked for the tracking number but was told there wasn't one. I'm beginning to think that they charge you for premium shipping but then send it the cheapest method possible. Also I was told that the part was available at the Coquitlam store but it was shipped from Mississauga - last time ordering from this business.

It is astounding, that rude employees like the woman who answers the toll free number (forgot the name, but must be the same one who already treated multiple other customer with the same disrespect and arrogance.you will know, once you got her on the phone.) is still employed.no people skills whatsoever.she probably already caused quite some damage.that only speaks for the company, what they actually think of their smaller customers.pretty much: get lost we do not need your business anyways.well, you lost mine for sure + will never recommend them to others.to the rude woman on the other side: if you don't like your job, don't let it out on customers.quit and find something else!

Ordered a samsung dishwasher part in September. Email said to wait for second confirmation. Never received. I had to call them to see what is going on. The ecommerce or fulfilment team needs to be more on top of these orders.

More like unReliable parts. I don't care how busy you are, you don't have someone on hold for almost 25 min.probably longer I gave up. Never answered to say anything just left me hanging. Was calling check the status of my order. I ordered 11 days ago, when ordered it saidin stock and 4-5 business days. Not sure what delivery company there using but Home Depot, Amazon and Canadian Tire didn't take this long. Mostly annoyed by lack of communication from them. Would have had the parts from Repair Clinic aweek ago. My mistake there, won't make it again. Just went to store to check on status, there was no one in the store but three guys that work there. So why was I on hold for 25 min? One part showed on the computer it's due today but the guy says it not here to come back in another 13 days or more to get them? Not at all impressed with the service or organization.

Very poor phone system wanted to ask about a part and main phone system is closed it is 2: 02 pm and the location is open till 5;00 pm b.c. Time.they should have the phone center open till locations close. I work for a very large company and our phone center is open till all stores are closed.

Very unhelpful. I called to ask if they had a fridge part and was told not to bother trying because I wouldn't be capable of understanding what the problem was (even though I had just told the staff what the issue was and the part I needed). I bought the part anyway and easily fixed the fridge on the first try.

Disorganized business.

COVID hasn't been fun for anyone but businesses have adapted. Reliable Parts really hasn't despite having the infrastructure and ability to.

If you place an order for a part that is in stock at a local warehouse across the country, it is routed centrally to an "online orders team", despite having an inventory counter in stores. The contactless pickup could be so easy yet somehow so impossible for them. They are seemingly unwilling to empower their local distributors to get parts into customers hands.

The people working at my local Reliable Parts location are wonderful but they are held back by their very poorly executed online system. What an atrocious waste of time/ horrible customer experience.

My Whirpool front-loading washing machine was displaying an F06 error code and it would not engage into the spin cycle. After Googling, it was suggested that the carbon brushes on the motor were most likely worn out. I found a YouTube video showing how to check/replace.

I went to Reliable Parts (un-reliable IMO) and brought the brushes to show them. They said that these brushes are NOT sold separately and the whole motor would have to be replaced ($200-500). I found this answer odd since these brushes can be detached from the motor. While discussing this with them and before exiting the store I searched and found online retailers (including Walmart.ca, Amazon.ca) that sell the brushes for $15 however they needed to be ordered. You would think these so-called knowledgeable representatives would not be outdone by an amateur with an iPhone typing "Whirpool washing machine carbon brushes" whilst standing in their store. Unless they were just trying to get me to pay $200-500 for a new motor. Either way not cool.

I called 4 local appliance repair shops and they said they would not sell the brushes without service. I ended up calling Amin @ Newtech and he said he could sell me new brushes for $64. More expensive than Walmart but he had them available. Amin met me in a parking lot, explained my issue and he concurred that most likely the brushes needed replacing. He said if it doesn't work then the motor would have to be replaced and he said he could get me a good price on it.

Anyways, the brushes worked and my machine is running perfectly again.and I didn't have to buy a $500 motor.

Ordered parts online that were in stock and available for immediate delivery. Fast forward to 11 days later and still no follow up. It was impossible to get through to speak with someone and when I did they were not helpful at all. The reference number sent by reliable parts didn't work. She said the parts that I ordered were in stock back East, but they would not ship them from warehouse to warehouse. The person on the phone said that they don't usually get in BBQ parts this time of year so wait 3-4 weeks before calling back as they do not give ETA's for parts. The person who answered the phone was not remotely helpful and made me feel like she had better things to do. I won't be giving reliable parts any of my business in the future.

Ordered and paid for a Whirlpool dishwasher part at the Coquitlam store on Friday, was told hundreds would be in on Monday/Tuesday. Wednesday: no part - try again tomorrow. Thursday: part in warehouse, being received - come in Friday. Friday: part didn't come in after all. No idea when they'll get part in, but Vancouver branch has three in stock. 45 minute drive to Cambie & Broadway area in Vancouver - FINALLY have part. Paid $48.00 because delivery was promised 1-2 business days - would have gone to Amazon for $26.00 if I knew it was going to be a week.

I've been in industrial parts/service for 25 years, and this is classic "minimal effort" Customer Service. Order is entered & paid for - job done, right? No follow-up on backordered goods, no update from Purchasing on backorder status from manufacturer, no second sourcing from branch to serve customer. Spoke with three different people at Sales Counter and got three different versions of events. If I want a good story, I'll take my child to the library, thank you.

I needed a part for my dishwasher and at Langley location they didn't have in stock so they redirected me to the warehouse in Coquitlam and they had the part. Being a senior I asked for senior discount and they gave me 10%. They have everything you need to fix your appliances and also they sale detergents from Germany too for your washing machine! Highly recommend this place if like me have a good condition appliances with a very good handyman at home called "husband " with golden hands that fix everything. My dishwasher is 7 years old but still working great, just the sealing in the water pump was leaking and we decided to replace the whole pump to give another few years of life. Next project, the bearing of the washer!:)

Ordered a drain pump for my Samsung washer. Received in Mackenzie, BC five business days later. Was the exact right part. Installed and worked perfectly. Definitely recommend Reliable Parts.

Terrible customer service by staff member named "Mario. " Came in looking for a replacement bulb for my over the range microwave. It's a pretty common part so didn't expect the response I got. "Mario" said to me "you can't just walk in here with a bulb and expect me to find it for you. We're not a lighting store. " Told him I thought it was a common part and that there would be an area for appliance bulbs. His response was "you thought wrong. We're not a lighting store. " Then he told me he needed the exact make and model of the appliance before he could do anything. I had driven half an hour to get to the store and didn't want to go back to my house to search for the info so scoured the internet to find the part number for the bulb. Turns out the bulb is an 8206232A Light. I go back inside hoping I don't have to deal with "Mario" again. This time I get someone named "Mel". He takes one look at the bulb and says "Oh that's an 8206. Very common bulb". Goes to the bulb section (didn't know there was one but it was 2 aisles over from where I lined up to talk to "Mario" and gets it for me. There was a stack of them there so it must be a common part. Mel you're awesom. Mario, you're something else.

Ordered OTR microwave MAGNETRON cost $300 on Thursday Morning, received shipping box next Tuesday afternoon on front yard with a part called HEAD-FILTR in it for unknown device. Had received wrong items experience last year and received re-sent correct part another week later. Try to solve the problem in same way, I made a phone call and being transfer to customer service which is no one answer except request leave message. 4 hours later without response, call again and try to understand the reason why both of the invoice and item at same box but they don't match, the answer is because COVID-19.eh.
Talk to the manager to cancel the order and request full refund, he let me wait one week and the other department will contact me to start the processing. I haven't received any contact so far.
Away from them, they are liar and cheater. Never deal with them again.

We ordered a part and was given instructions to call in with our model and the part required. After providing the exact information they asked us for, we went to pick it up and received the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The man helping us was rude and condescending, and continuously yelling at us for waiting outside for our part. I will never recommend anyone to ever come here and am disgusted by this behaviour. It is clear they have no care for their customers and I’m appalled a business like this is able to operate in our community.

Couldn't believe the price I was quoted for a Samsung washer door lock assembly by Reliable Parts on the telephone. The price was $155.00 + tax. I told them that the same part on amazon.ca was $22.00. It didn't matter as they said this is the price they have to sell it for according to Samsung. A few bucks more.okay, but I could have bought 7 of the identical parts on amazon.ca for the price they quoted me. Amazon part was a Samsung OE part as well. I have bought parts before from this supplier, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Absolute gouging! You'd think they'd be on the phone to Samsung to sort this out, but no. I guess losing the odd sale is worth the mark-up profit they realize. Won't be back again. By the way, the part came the next day from Amazon and works perfectly.

I have bought from Reliable multiple times in the past and is a good source to get parts. I just had my first experience though having to special ordering a part.
The part came in roughly 3 weeks after i placed the order. I picked it up and planned on doing the install weeks later. Once I went to do the install I opened up the box to discover the part was wrong. I wanted a fan motor but ended up with a fan housing.
I was disappointed to find this out, knowing that I would have to wait weeks more for the proper part, but understandable.
I called the customer service, right away and they said to bring it into the store.
Its been weeks later now due to the holidays, and when I walked in and explained my story, they explained that it was past the 30 days return policy.
I explained that I only discovered their error in ordering the wrong part when I went to do the work, but had called into their call center right away.
Chris (apparent manager) told me that they could not take the part back now as it exceeded 30 days. I explained that Reliable had ordered the wrong part, and that I had not had a chance to get into the store quickly due to the holidays but was called in prior to their 30 days.
Chris has now made this ordering error 100% my fault as he said it was my responsibility to check this within 30 days.
My portion of the error was the smallest portion, allowing their company to take no responsibility for this error.
Chris was smug and non apologetic, and only able to focus on 30 days as the policy. There was no account for their error.
I have called the center once again to see if I can resolve this. I was told someone would call me back.
I hope for a positive outcome. I will update this review once I hear back

Update: I talked with Pat, and it was approved to be returned. I have now returned the part. I was satisfied with the end result.

I was told that because I am was just “retail” there was nothing they could do when I asked for a discount on a part that failed after 6 only months. The staff at the store were rude and unprofessional. Terrible customer service even though one of the company goals is to provide a high level of customer service. I guess the general public should be taken out to that statement.

Extremely supportive and helpful. Fast and had the part for the dishwasher. We are ready for Christmas. A must if you need a part for your appliance.
