A great budget friendly way for those whom love to ride escooters but don't have one of their own.
Thanks for the great service and experience!

Great customer service, friendly, with fair prices! We rented e-scooters for the day to zip around Stanley park! Scooters were very new, fast, well maintained, with tons of range. It costs only $10/hour!

I’ve rented camping equipment from 3 different companies so far this summer and out of all Rentaru had the cleanest the BEST gear! Add on their affordable pricing and great customer service makes Rentaru a definite recommendation. Thanks for the great time and I’ll see you for my next trip!

It was a great experience to have rented electric scooter here as the price is so affordable. I went to Stanley park and it’s really close from the rental shop so I could see around and chill out more than I was planning.

It was my first time to ride it here in Vancouver and I felt you can casually go pretty much anywhere in downtown with it.
I’ll definitely rent it again with my friends next time.

Very friendly and accomodating. Love that you can drop the equipment off the next day. Great price and would definitely use again!

Amazing experience with the e-scooters! We were able to explore the city and the Sea Wall in less than 2 hours.

Excellent and quick service. I went along with a group of friends to rent snowboards and gear and was in and out within minutes with everything we needed. You won't find another place with these prices - we will be back!

I booked equipment with specific details through their website and received a confirmation email the day before going to the hill. After the frustration of trying to find parking in downtown Vancouver and locating the unmarked building, they had no record of my reservation nor board suitable for my taller-than-average friend. We were late hitting the slopes as a result.

I don’t wanna recommend this shop. The clothes was very poor quality and smell so bad. My boyfriend felt stressful cos even gloves smell so bad.

When I return this equipment, they answer after 2times and they make us wait in the entrance.

I complain to the Japanese girl staff about the condition of all set of clothes, she said”sorry”
And then “bye” after 1-2mins.

I feel so frustrated.

Poor quality of boots and snowboards (broken binding) and wrong billing. When we wanted to return everything the next day, the office was closed until 9: 15am, altough it should have been open at 8. There was a queue of twenty people outside waiting. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

Cheap snowboard rentals. Not the best quality but for the price, it’s totally worth it. Some of my friends got new snowboards and some didn’t. Everything worked out fine in the end so I would recommend this place.

The staff were nice, and these are the cheapest board rentals in the lower mainland, but unfortunately, a lot of the equipment was pretty dated. Some of the boots and bindings look to be over 10 years old and some of the ski boots I saw on the wall looked ancient (although maybe they were a decoration or something). Also the goggles we rented were pretty scratched up and fogged for no reason.

The other issue is convenience, if you're renting gear downtown, but don't quite live nearby you have to keep in mind that the rental is 24 hours, and the store is only open 8-5 meaning that if you want to return gear at the end of the day, you have to leave the hill early or show up early the next day in the morning. Also the late fees are $5 an hour.

If you're planning a day trip to a bunny hill and are on a really tight budget, this might be an option, but you're already spending 80 (plus) dollars on a lift ticket, you're better off getting some decent rentals at the hill.

Rented full gear from this place clothes and skis.when I got to Mt Cypress I tried clicking the boots in the skies but they don’t fit. When I went to the service station at Mt Cypress they told that the skis I rented where so old they did not want to be liabel for servicing them and the security features on the old skis are different. They ended up telling me how to change the size. However the skis where too small for the boot. When I went the counter to rent the skis from mt Cypress they looked at the boots and said they are so worn out they would not rent me the skies without renting the boots as well. Just my feedback you can rent all this gear from the skie resorts and the quality is 100% better and you don’t have to lug around all this gear

I took two freinds skiing last week at cypress mountain. It was their first time skiing and I was going to teach them, so I took them to rent some skis before we got there so we wouldn't have to wait in a long line at the mountain. My one friend rented from rentaru and it was was EXTREMELY disappointing for so many reasons. First of all, the skis looked like they were about 15 years old. We arrived at the mountain and I show my freind how how put the boot into the ski binding and it doesn't fit. We try for a couple minutes and decided to bring them to the ski repair booth at cypress. The attendant told us the skis were so old he couldn't touch them because he didn't want to be liable if they broke. He said that they used a completely different screw head than they normally use and even called the skis "dangerous". He told us that if we were the ones touching the skis that he'd show us how to fix it. We tried and even at the binding set to the biggest setting he said the boot would still NEVER fit. (which means they never even tried to fit them at rentaru) So we lined up to rent new skis for an hour. They then tell us the boots are so old and damaged that they won't let us use them in their skis. So now we need to rent new boots AND skis. The equipment at cypress worked great. Later on the ski pants my friend rented from rentaru ripped and the cypress staff felt so bad for my freind needing all new equipment that they gave him free pants. My freind returned the gear that the next days and rentaru didn't even give ALL the money back. They gave money for skis and boots but not the clothes. I am highly unimpressed by the service, it wasted over an hour of our ski day and didn't even fully reimburse him. They took advantage of a beginner skier. Would not recommend
