Very central, underground secured parking, well maintained, good sized rooms with city/mountain views

Bad experience.room cleaning every 2 days dusty carpet we were 4 people we all had allergies. Grumpy receptionists seem like they are working out of obligation if they are not satisfied with the work they leave.as the location is great

This place has the best location and the rooms late really big.the best part is definitely the breakfast buffet.most important meal of the day and they 'git er done'

We really enjoyed our stay when it comes to the cleanliness of our room and the quality of food from the breakfast buffet. Yet we are very disappointed to the staff that checked us in when we arrived. She was very rude when she said that we did not declare that there’s gonna be 2 more people in the room. I explained to her that I booked our room very last minute that’s why I missed adding two more people. We did not mind paying for more because that’s the policy. We were just upset because it’s our first time visiting Vancouver, and this is what we encountered first. I also asked her if it’s possible to change our room to two queen beds. She said that she has to talk to her manager and the whole exchanging process to checking in took us half an hour. After that, she gave us our key card, and told us that we can head up to our room but when we got there, there's still housekeeping tidying the room. They told us that it will take 10-15 mins more. We went back to the lobby and the person that checked us in l saw us roaming around but she did not even asked or checked on us why we were back in the lobby with all of our belongings. I can’t say that we’ll want to come back here in residence inn or gonna recommend it to our friends and family. It’s a great hotel but it’s nothing if the staffs are rude and not accommodating.

I trusted the fact they they keep things a secret. The terms and conditions that they have. I trusted the fact that they would not tell anyone or leek personal information about my reservation but they did! So they’re not to trust

I love the room organisation. BEEAK FAST, everything here. Specially pool is very neat and clean.
Mike at reception is wonderful guy. He is very good in customer service and always guide the best way to spend time. He is very friendly and exhibit great gestures.

So first the good, room was comfortable, amenities were pretty good, the staff were all friendly and seemed to aim to please with a smile on their faces. The couple negatives were the outrageous cost of parking at $30+ a day and the breakfast buffet quality was honestly pretty bad. The scrambled eggs were stiff and gross (I imagine powdered) and the turkey sausage had multiple hard chunks of either bone or cartilage that completely put me, my husband and our children off our meals, the other bread/yogurt/cereal/drink options were all good so just choose carefully and know what to expect and you’ll be happy.

I always stay here as the value is so good. Breakfast is good, lots of choice and space to eat. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Love the kitchen to be able to cook and store food. I recently stayed and it was my daughter’s birthday. We opened the door and on the table was a birthday card and goodies. So so kind and unexpected. What a great place to live! I loved my stay there. Location is good but you have to be careful in the mornings and late evenings around Davie Street and Granville. Staff is very helpful, receptionists sometimes can forget some things but it is understandable as they deal with a lot of guests during these difficult times. Kitchen staff are amazing. They work so hard to give everybody a great breakfast and a clean breakfast room. All kitchen staff including Juliana, Wendy do the best every single morning. Will come back for sure in this great hotel.

Spent the week here. Nice well equipped room. Allowed us the eat in option after long days of exploring. Like the call ahead for room servicing option. No need for room cleaning daily for same customers. Breakfast had eggs and a meat daily. Pancakes some days hash browns or mixed grilled veg on others. At least 5 bread choices (gluten free included). Fruits yogurts and cheese. Coffee and tea selection

Central location close to most tourist attractions. 25 mins drive from the airport. Friendly staff, clean room with a city view from the 17th floor

Loved staying here with our dog! Very nice rooms, great breakfast & on-site parking. Alley can get jammed up though, so hard to get in and out of the garage

Always love this hotel, I frequently stay here since it opened when I’m visiting Vancouver. Such good value all around for a hotel in downtown Vancouver, from price, comfort, and location. It was my anniversary with my wife and the front desk manager had sent us a card with some Purdy’s chocolates! Thank you Jon Paul and everyone else who made our stay great yet again! I’ll be back!

Room was excellent small practical kitchenette! Staff were very courteous.only complaint is 2 out of 3 days I didn't receive my requested wake up call, which fortunately wasn't that important this time!

Loved our stay! Staff was super friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast options were really good, and the kitchenettes were fantastic! Pool needs an update but not anything that affected the enjoyment of our stay. We will be back!

A very good location close to transit. The main negative is the noise. You will hear your neighbor's television or music. If you are on the high floors you will hear the droning of the elevator mechanical all day and most of the night. Just bring your ear plugs I guess.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were able to stay one night and have them hold our luggage while we made a two day trip to Victoria and returned to Vancouver to complete our trip. We do wish the pool was open but we do understand maintenance must be done.

Clean rooms and main area. Accommodating staff. Has everything in the room you need for a stay: a Kitchenette with cook panel, full size fridge and freezer, toaster, cutlery, microwave, pans, measuring cups, kettle and more. Comfortable beds and chair. Iron and iron board, safe, tv. Pool, gym, hot tub and laundry room. Breakfast included. Free wifi with option to upgrade, parking was included in the package we chose.

The suites are great, good location, friendly staff. Pool wasn't open. Parking at hotel $26 for 24 hours and was convenient.

Residence Inn was a successful experience for me and my family. I chose the hotel and it is always important to accomplish all the members of the family desires, and you did it. The room was clean, well disposed, bright, with a kitchen and the necessary eating cutlery, which liked my wife. You have a nice pool, with a hot tube which was quite important for my kids. I believe the best of all was the breakfast, gorgeous, with a variety of options and the waiters were humble. I even had the chance of renting a car to the company inside of the hotel, which gave the possibility of picking it up and dropping it off without leaving the building. From that location we were able to move from a central point to different cities by taking the bus, skytrain and by walking. My family congratulated me for choosing the hotel, so well done!

So close to everything and easily walkable with Robson and Burrard St both being close enough. Also can walk to the beach. Location is fab. Rooms are clean and good enough for couple of days. Nice breakfast buffet spread and I was lucky to get parking in my deal.

We had the opportunity to stay in 2 different room types during this stay and both were just lovely. They’ve got everything you need for a short stay or long term to make it feel like your home away from home. The views are just stunning on both sides of the hotel. Gorgeous photo opportunities of both sunrise & sunset over the water, so bring your camera.
We really appreciated all the extra efforts taken to keep us safe during this pandemic. We regularly easily reserved a time slot at both the gym and pool. Those areas too were always well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We hope they continue the grab and go option continues as it was nice to enjoy in the courtyard or your room. The ladies that run the kitchen & breakfast do a wonderful job! Especially with all the extra things to do during the pandemic. Juan, Ken & Daljeet do such an excellent job of keeping all common areas inside & out sanitized & sparkling clean. Very friendly and outgoing and always take the time to ask how your day is going. Sam in the maintenance department pays attention to all the details, always friendly too. We had a tiny issue in our room & he was there within a few minutes and fixed it right up.

Now what makes us recommend this hotel & it stand out from the many others worldwide we’ve been in over the years is the staff at this hotel. If there was an award for the BEST Marriott guest services staff at a hotel.this hotel would win hands down! Emma, Mike, Amelda, Cynthia, (we like to call the dream team) and managers John Paul & Jennifer are beyond exceptional! This team is simply THE BEST. They’re the most caring compassionate ppl I’ve ever seen. They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome & cared for They should be The training team for other Marriott hotels. We were made to feel like part of the Marriott family and it was a very difficult time in our life and has meant a lot to us. Definitely Kudos go to the management at this hotel to be able to retain such an amazing all around passionate team.

Pet friendly! Pool, hot tub, gym, really close to all amenities, comp. Breakfast, wifi and really good customer service. I'm booked in for 7nights - no complaints

This is an excellent hotel. The location is amazing, the staff were very friendly and nice. We had great views from our room. Only downside is parking is expensive in Vancouver. This was the same for all hotels. However this hotel offered monthly rates if you are staying for a longer time. This was very beneficial as we were there for a couple weeks.
The rooms were very nice. Seemed to have been upgraded recently as they were new. The kitchenettes were amazing to have as we could cook food. They also offered a very nice breakfast to go option that was included. There was a pool and a gym.

Great place to stay for families or couples, friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel in and out with fully stocked kitchen and lots of space. Everything you need is within walking distance, so you are really set if you stay at the Residence Inn. No complaints!

Despite saying that they have adopted additional cleaning procedures, due to Covid19, the cleanliness of our room was completely unacceptable. The bathroom was dirty, garbage wasn’t picked up, towels weren’t changed, cups were left everywhere, qtips were on the bed. Disgusting for pre-Covid times, let alone during enhanced cleaning. At $250 a night, I’m beyond upset, and all the staff did was to not charge us parking, since cleaning staff wasn’t available today, we need to wait to have the room cleaned tomorrow. Beyond disappointed in the Marriott.

Good business and long-stay hotel in a fairly convenient location downtown. Included breakfast buffet is a nice touch for all guests, as are some nice convenience features like grocery shopping assistance and laundry services for longer stays. Wifi, even the paid higher speed connection, isn't very fast for 2021 and Can struggle during video calls or media streaming. Great AC in the rooms to beat even the record-breaking heat wave in June 2021.

I would like to thanks for a staff from the operator/customer service. I booked the wrong hotel by mistake, while the guy who answered my call was very patient and helped me solve my problem. I forgot his name but I think he deserve the recognition. (His shift covered 11th from 2-3 p.m.) Thank you very much!

The service is outstanding, and everything felt new and clean. I have no complaints with this place.

Highly recommended. Excellent location. Very kind and helpful staff. Plenty of verities for breakfast. Excellent door service during quarantine time. We booked studio suite with full kitchen having all required utensils. Full speed free WiFi (we used to connect 4-5 devices) is a plus point. Paid parking is the only minus point for me. Overall excellent experience.

I've only been to the pool there. So I don't know about the rooms. I also didn't like that they had no change rooms there. They only had bathrooms near the pool.

Had a satisfying one night stay. With Gold Elite status, I was upgraded to skyline king suite from regular king suite. Bathroom is small but functional. There was no tub though. Satisfied with complimentary breakfast with rare veggies unlike continental breakfast in most places and also had very cool bake your own waffle station. When I was there, there was more than 20 ppl line up around 9am on Saturday. Fitness room had no weigh exercise except dumbells. Good swimming pool with hot tub. Overall very satisfied with the stay. Tip: if you just planning for overnight stay, there are handful street parking free from 10pm to 9am. Howe st. Parking is $2 per hour.

While the hotel was nice the staff gave us the run around during check in and check out. We were told we had to pay a $500 deposit that would be returned to us upon check out. However when we went to check out they told us that the deposit isn’t given back the next morning and that their accounting department would be mailing us a cheque by the end of the week. After repeatedly calling and told the manager would call us back we had to contact corporate to open a file only to tell us the cheque had been mailed two weeks after they said it would and it still isn’t here. We will not be staying or recommending this hotel to anyone as it’s just been a stressful month trying to deal with getting our deposit back and getting no real answers from any of the staff who are not even knowledgeable on their deposit return rules.

You can't go wrong with a Marriott brand. A nice location, consistent upkeep throughout the building and the room (we had a 2 double-bed), a standard pool, gym and hot breakfast.

I love this hotel. Rooms are great and solid price point. Coffee could be a bit better and I wish they would mix up the breakfast a bit. It’s always the same. That stands out to me because I stay there quite often though. People who stay there more rarely prob won’t notice. Breakfast is good though - I’m just bored with it.

We had stayed for one weekend during spring break. I think the hotel was packed but you don't realize it until the second half of breakfast. We loved our higher floor studio. We looked forward to resting in our room after a long day of walking. Room was very tidy and the studio was very spacious. We didn't do any cooking but it was nice having a ready kitchen. The TV can hook up to your Netflix account and you don't really need anything more than that if you're in the city to do touristy things like exploring. Good location. 24 hour bakery across the road makes a great late night desert/coffee place.

Rooms were great. Staff was amazing. Price at time was good. Location was not the most ideal, but the rest made up for it.

Really nice place to stay. Best Residence Inn I have stayed in for sure. Breakfast was included, and had protein along with fruit and cereals. The front desk staff was very courteous. Parking was expensive, but it is in a downtown areas so par for the course. I will stay here again.

Convenient location walked to Granville Island, Yaletown, Stanley Park, Gastown, Robson and Davies. Big rooms and great breakfast. And lots of great restaurants in the neighbourhood.

A building is being built across the street so there is construction noise constantly during the day. The hotel is advertised as having a nightly social gathering but it doesn't offer one. They don't have a liquor license so they can't put the social hour together. They do offer a large selection of breakfast items. The entrance to each suite is a little on the small side but once you get into the room it is comfy. Each room has a fridge, small 2-burner glass top stove, a dishwasher, a microwave and a coffee maker. Safes are available in each room. The veranda has a grand view of the city if you stay above the 16th floor. Another plus for me was the real shower in the bathroom but the towels felt like roughed up styrofoam.
HINT: To avoid the noise stay on one of the upper floors.

I had booked a room this past weekend for my birthday and I just wanted to point out how unfriendly the staff member who checked us in was. She was super short with us, unfriendly, and plain rude. We asked if we could get a higher floor and she didn't even look into it for us.instead, she just brushed us off. When asking about an extra parking space, she was hesitant and again, just rude all around. The room itself was perfect.spacious even with the kitchen. For that reason along with a convenient location, I would book again, but I'll opt for the mobile check in so I can avoid the staff.

Here is suitable long stay biz man or family. The room is quite big, but the wifi is sucks. The breakfast is just average.

This hotel was great, room was very comfortable, staff friendly but the location is awful. Whilst it was downtown, the part of downtown it is in is terrible. This was my first visit to Vancouver with my 5yo son and i didn't feel safe walking from the hotel to the city. The surrounding streets were filthy, there was a fight outside the hotel, needles and feaces on the sidewalk. So whilst I liked the hotel, I would rather pay more to stay closer to the main city to feel safe, especially walking at night time for dinner.

Beautiful views of the city, very attentive reception, who's attire made you feel at ease. The rooms were very comfortable, I highly recommend you visit the beautiful city, trust me, you will not be disappointed in this fine establishment. I highly recommend it here!

Love staying here because of how clean and relaxing it is. Breakfast was standard with waffles, fruit, eggs, sausage, etc. But parking was a nightmare - definitely do not recommend using a wide car because it can be tricky to park.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants bear by. Easy access. Nice room. The breakfast buffet sucks. The eggs were dry and the variety of food super limited. The crazy lady opening and slamming the funny window to refill the 3ggs and other dry foods need to get a little training on how to be a but more polite. The gym does not exist. It is only 4 treadmills and a set of dumbbells.
