The campsite as a whole was pretty good. The showers and washrooms were clean but a little dated. They could use some upgrades. The part that didn't impress me was the site they assigned us. It was only suitable for a tent. It had a big hill on it. And since we had a 24 foot RV, it wasn't going to happen. So we looked around for another site, called and were able to move into it. And when we booked I specifically said we have a 24 foot RV.

Great location for all surrounding area, clean, quiet except for the far off train. Bathroom was clean.

Lots of spots available. Staff are friendly and lots of activities for families and amenities. Only draw back is the resort is sandwiched between a highway and a bust railway.

Amazing place for any camping adventure with friends or family. Easy to find and has great service, bathrooms and showers.

The location of the campground was wonderful but the campground wasn't exactly what I expected. The spaces are very close together so not much privacy. Also I had to pick up garbage on the site when I first arrived. Also - when the campground is full, please consider cleaning and servicing the bathrooms more often. The second night I went for a shower the same gross hair was on the floor. Yuck. They ran out of soap and toilet paper too. A bit more attention was needed.

We were four people and booked one of their cabins for one night. I found it affordable and better than the hotels. Cabins and washrooms were really clean. They have services like free wifi in the cabins and there is a place for wifi aa well, theatre, laundry and playground. There pool was out of order for now but we went to recreation centre near by and showed them the receipt. They refunded us the money we pay for the pool. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for giving us such a great experience with your service

Terrible campsite! The tent sites are very small. You're sitting in each others camp fire smoke and noise. The noisy freight trains are keeping you awake. There aren't enough toilets and showers. You have to hike up the hill to fill your water bottle or go to the toilet. Not worth the money. At all.

Okay site
Pretty clean. Someone did "borrow" our sewer hose overnight and then returned it the next day.

Pool what shut down, price is high compared to other camp grounds in the area.
Highway and train noise are somewhat consistent at all hours

We stayed here w/ an RV. Campsite was ok, very dusty unfortunately and train noise close by. Pool was out of order still we paid full fee which was ~$60. Positive side, registration doc was sustainable as they used foiled paper which was erasable.

Not a great family experience for us. The pool was closed which we did not know until we got there and for which I had promised the kids. There was no central place to charge anything if you were in a tent site. They duct taped over all the electrical plugins which caused my 12 year old to lose it as she couldn’t charge her phone. Mosquitoes galore and a lack of garbage cans on top of a price that was twice as much as the municipal campgrounds in Nakusp, Nelson, etc meant we were a bit unhappy with the experience.

We did like the duck pond as my 8 year old loved the 4 ducks. Bathrooms were clean.

Website looks good but actual location was a big disappointment. First day couldn’t run a/c, cost per night was $70 and not worth it. Showers and washrooms were ok, pool wasn’t open and staff were even overwhelmed with all the issues with the resort. Heard there were 6 staff that just quit and the last day we were there one of the teen boys staff was even near tears after another sewer issue. Not a lot of leadership giving these young workers direction.

Less than expected for $55. Dirty bathrooms, broken walkways which would be dangerous for anybody with mobility issues. Store sells wet wood that doesn't burn for $10. Very narrow not level campsite.so forget any privacy less than 8 feet between vehicles/campers. Only plus is there is wifi. Won't go there again.

Pretty disappointed with this campground for the price. We stayed for 4 nights. It is in desperate need of maintenance and has clearly been neglected for a long time. Bathrooms and showers are filthy and they had repeated sewage backup issues which flooded several sites and the bathrooms. I overheard the staff talking and the problem is ongoing and well known. At one time this place looks like it was really nice, but those days are long past. There is no way the pool is anywhere near opening despite them saying it was just awaiting an inspection. We booked this place months in advance and gave up the opportunity to book at some much better options. Lots of potential if some time and money were invested, but I would not go back.

Great location. Beautiful and shady. Located next to lots of trails and reasonably closee to Revelstoke. Free showers. WiFi available near the store.

A bit rundown and the bathrooms could use some repair as doors were difficult to close. Had some fantastic features like movie night for kids and live music. Our site had power but was awkwardly laid out. The only place our tent trailer fit was so close to the firepit as to render the pit unusable. Overall decent if a bit expensive.

I had no choice but to stay here therefore had to dish out $58 for a basic site. The pool was drained with a sign saying it was pending a health inspection. There are 4 cute ducks that hang out by the office/washrooms/gazebo. Too bad they were harassed by kids chasing them around.
Bathrooms were ok, 3 stalls and 3 shower stalls. Slightly inadequate for the number of people at this campground. For $35 I would have given this review 3.5 stars despite the train and hwy noise but for almost $60 for me to use the washroom twice (once at night and once in the morning) and spend a total of 12 hrs here. Glad my next spot is only $20!

Good prices. Great amenities. Sites need a bit more maintenance due to a lot of use. But had a good time with my family.

Very challenging and inconvenient. The pool should be a cornerstone of this campground, but is closed indefinitely, waiting for Interior Health permits. This is not disclosed until after booking. Additionally, this campground has an upper and lower level, but the lower level is not disclosed online — call before booking online to confirm your actual campsite location. On the lower level, there is no water or washrooms. To access them, it's a long, steep walk up an unlit, forest walkway. With an active bear in the area, it adds an extra layer of unsafety. The nearby train (while amazing connection to local history) is frequent, day and night, and extremely noisy. What's lovely about the place is: the outdoor theatre shows a family movie each night. The ducks at the duck pond are adorable and gorgeous. The office is well-equipped (including ice cream!) and the staff is hard working and kind. The washrooms are clean and the showers are free, and there's even on-site laundry. There are two playgrounds, which are fun for the kids. Overall, with improved information about the lower level, better access to water and washrooms for the lower level, and an open pool, this place could definitely improve its rating! (Oh: bring lots of bug spray! The mosquitoes are real.)
