I had recently retired from my career and decided to see the country. I was staying at a nearby campground over the winter months and Rexall was the closest pharmacy. My first bad experience, I entered the pharmacy and was looking in an aisle for a product, I could see a staff member looking at me but went about my business, a minute or so later she was coming at me quickly, loudly and aggressively repeatedly saying “can I help you! ”, not in a tone that would suggest she actually wanted to help me. I have a long white beard and was wearing a plaid bomber style coat and a toque, the hobo chic look as I like to call it, she was totally profiling me. The second bad experience was with the postal outlet, the staff member was an insufferable discourteous know it all who as it turned out didn’t actually know it all.

I would give this location a 5 all day if it wasent for the recent pharmacy decline. Lack of supply, customer service, timely service and staffing issues all combine into what is one of the worst pharmacy experiences i have ever had encountering several new issues that hadent happened in the 8 years prior to this. They have every service to offer postal, groceries, health and beauty, and pharmacy. The staff is above and beyond top notch. Even all previous pharmacists and managers were excellent. In the past i would always recommend this location now i cant say that i would due to the extreme decline in care from the pharmacy. Messing around and disregarding the importantance of some patients/customers certain medications. They lack the understanding, connection, and effort required to do the job of being a pharmacist successfully. Its beyond poor in service. They have the highest dispensing fees. I dont go there for value. I go because it was GREAT. Not just good but great above and beyond. Now its steady pharmacy decline has soured the reputation of this location as it is such an integral part. Overall I'm a very disappointed long term loyal customer who hopes to see this improve and i try my hardest to work with them, yet still i see a lack of change only getting worse. Im close to my breaking point with this store and honestly its both sad and frustrating. This place has the potential to be the best. Right now it's subpar at best.

I'm going to stick to the facts: at around 9am, I ordered my refill online for 3pm. At 3pm, my refill was not ready. I could pick up my medication only at 4: 30pm. This isn't the first time this has happened.

Extremely unhappy woman working at the pharmacy. She is never wearing a mask, and I can't even ask her if she's exempt or something because the look on her face and her demeanor say " you are an inconvenience to me and my day, leave me alone". Looking around at other employees, I saw 2 employees with those face shields that do nothing, and another young guy with no mask. I saw him recently wearing one so I guess it's a matter of which manager is working or something? I don't really know that's just a guess. Customers not wearing masks and no manager or anyone asking them to wear one. The sign on the door says it's mandatory. So I can only assume, that this location has been infiltrated with covidiots, and I can't have people like that handling my prescriptions.

The service in the pharmacy is disgusting to say the least. Missed refills, long wait times, going back to find prescriptions are still not ready. My neighbour recommended the Wallace st pharmacy- under wallace pharmacy- they are efficient and have free delivery to chase river so i do not need to drive into town. A breath of fresh air! I strongly suggest anyone not happy switch over to them!

I've been to the Southgate Rexall numerous times (Rx, postal, general shopping). I've never had an employee with a bad attitude or that wasn't very respectful. Everyone acts in a professional manner.

Always receive the best service at the pharmacy. The pharmacists really care about their patients. The prescriptions are always filled on time

I love Rexall drug stores. Very modern inside & out. A little high end but worth getting the excellent service of all staff, especially pharmacy!

Pharmacist does not wear a mask. This woman just swings her arms around, shouting and laughing all over the place. Absolutely no diligence whatsoever. Use the drive through prec.pickup, don't risk your health going inside.

The pharmacy staff have been great with me, I've always found them to be flexible and as accommodating as they can be. They don't quite have the same grocery selection that other shops have but usually that also means you don't wait as long in lineups for the cashier. The cashiers are great.

I think I'll do my main shopping at rexall from now on cause it's a historical store. It was invented in 1903. I hope rexall still exists by the time I'm over 100 years old. I'm 36 now.

I absolutely love the staff at Rexall, Southgate location. The front staff are always happy to help. Very happy and positive environment.
The Pharmacy staff always go ABOVE & BEYOND for me. Munir the Pharmacy Manager is amazing. I can’t count the amount of times he has taken time out of his day to help me with a question, to help me find a product or just to lend an ear. He’s very good at what he does, and I’m very lucky to have ppl I can trust 100% with my health and medications. Nikole is his Pharmacy Technician and she is also amazing, I can’t forget about Desire she’s an absolute sweetheart. We always have a good giggle and laughter is the best medicine. So thank you to all the staff for all that you do for me, my family and many, many others. Have a great day.

Wouldn't go there if there were another option, rarely have good experiences and have been sold products past their expiry dates. Today I was followed around the store by one of their employees after politely requesting that she stop to which her response was "too bad". If you are able to get to another drugstore I suggest you go elsewhere.

Went here bought 2 drinks with $20 bill, got a $5 and a toonie back. Later realizing this, I called the manager named Sharon who was very rude over phone and when I went to get the $5 they would only give back, (receipt said I should have had $14 in change at least.) I confronted her about the missing amount excluding the $5 and she completely denied it. She also mockingly laughed and said a very much sarcastic sorry when I mentioned she was being condescending. Never coming back here.
