Rice and Noodle (Broadway)

Terrific menu, and nice staff. The food is very good, and not too expensive. I highly recommend.

Ordered delivery. The containers are half full, I was still hungry after. I got the green curry with prawn, and it came with 3 only. Didn't taste like curry. Very disappointed as I was hoping to make this place my go to for Thai.

The menu is your typical pan-Asian fast food, elevated by their claim to a more health-conscious approach. I had a question about whether or not the item I wanted was vegetarian since I didn't see any animal ingredients in the description but it was missing the vegan icon, and the staff was able to tell me what was in it. I had the Mongolian Stir Fry with tofu and I actually thought it was pretty good. The sauce was flavourful and not syrupy or super oily, there was a good amount of freshly cooked veggies and tofu. I think it strikes a great middle ground between being a wholesome healthy meal and delivering the flavours and satisfaction of classic Chinese-American food. The portion size was perfect for me, but if you want more food for cheaper (and maybe of the same quality depending on where you go), you're better off going to a proper Chinese or Thai restaurant. My dish was about $14 after tax. Although the food is nothing fancy here, I like their approach, so it's a place I'd consider visiting again.

I was out walking on Broadway and decided to check this place out after the wait at my first choice was too long. Me and my friend thought it looked good and walked in.

We approached the counter and were greeted by one of the meanest service workers I've ever come across! I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before.

We were the only customers in the place and we left immediately after interacting with this person. Didn't even get a chance to eat here and I don't think I'll try again.

Food was pretty good and incredibly fast to come out to the table, service was good though don't expect a sit down style, it is order at the counter and seat yourself. Tables were dirty which was disappointing.

Recently came here for late lunch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

There are plenty of seating inside. You should go ahead and order at the cashier. As advertised, you can see your food being prepared. The restaurant was not that crowded but the kitchen was (majority of orders are from delivery apps). Still I got my order relatively quickly.

I had their Pad Thai with spring rolls. I got the medium spicy level (3) and it was ok for me. The noodles were perfectly cooked but thought the spring rolls were maybe a bit bland. Interestingly they have water on tap!

Overall, I recommend this place. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu items.

Answer your phones! As a secret shopper, I was calling from inside the store and the cashier/cook checked and ignored each phone call 3 times. If you can check it, answer it. Poor.

Very flavourful, like the taste of the wokhei. Not too dry not too mushy. The texture of the rice for the fried rice just nice and with mixing ingredients just perfect! I ate so many Thai food restaurants this the closes

I’ve changed my mind about this place. It used to be consistently delicious and with great service but sadly that’s not the case anymore.

They’re often closed or refusing service well (like an hour even) before their posted time and are not friendly or helpful anymore. It’s like you’re inconveniencing them by being in the store. Last time I went, I waited outside because I was so uncomfortable with their vibe. The ingredients have changed too—it tastes like they’re cheaping out.

After years of supporting them, I’m taking it off my list. Old review still posted below this one.

This place is delicious: some of the nicest Thai curries I've had in a long time. It is also great value, and the service is super friendly. It's my new neighbourhood go-to place!

Staff recommended yellow curry as a vegetarian option, the veges were crunchy and curry level 5 was spicy, good for my cold weather cravings!

Recommended by my friends. I usually don’t write a review but their Pad thai and Laksa soup was just amazing! And thanks for thoughtful services. I don’t speak English very well but staffs were really kind and explained very well about their menu. Thank you again and definitely visit again.

Came in last minute before the their time to close for the day but the staffs are very welcoming and patiently serve us, still accepted our orders.
The food is good and love the noodle texture, just rightly cooked. Will come back for another visit!

The place closes at 9: 30, yet at 8: 45 pm they won’t let you stay to eat your food. I had to eat outside at the bus stop even though they were still open. Even had me to wait outside for the food. So done being a regular here—I’m going to look for someplace else.

Love this place. But small portion, mostly you get noodle, not that much veggie or meat. Good price.

The taste is not as expected. I'm not sure if it's authentic Thai food. Because the food item is named in Thai style but the taste is not close at all.

Got the chicken pad thai with level 5 spiciness. It wasn’t very spicy, but still tasted good. I kinda wish the noodles were a bit less soggy, but overall a good quick meal
