Overall an unpleasant shopping experience. Cramp and disorganized parking lot. Poor quality produce. No credit card accepted (except for seafood).

There are many non-staple foods in China and the prices are reasonable, but parking is a little inconvenient

There are many types of products, but the display is messy. The price is low, but there is no sense of high quality and low price. No credit cards are accepted.

Store setting isn't there at all but, prices are good. Not happy about not accepting credit cards, need to change.is my opinion.

Very bad service and lack of basic decency of trust. After a very long waiting, before helping me, the cashier attended to a lady instead. The cashier made an error with an elderly customer by over-charging. Then the same cashier accused me of picking a special fruit package like a dishonest replacement. She broke some glasses and then attended the glasses again leaving me unattended. It was a horrible experience. Not a place to buy anything decent.

Maybe it is a supermarket if you are just looking for bargain prices. The display and layout of the store are not good. The fruits were not great at the time I visited there.

Went there for the crab special 5.99 a pound, but it was the crappiest crabs ever. Almost no meat in them.

Got some hotpot meats here too. Way too fatty.like bacon kind of fatty. Meat wasnt marbled.

Parking lot is always pretty crazy here.small spots, stupid drivers.

Big oriental grocery store, well stock, clean and competitivly priced.fresh produce, meat and seafood dept.lots of parking and away from #3 road.

This market has everything you need for authentic Asian cooking, from sauces to hot pot ingredients to snacks and BBQ meats. Busy traffic always which means they are constantly restocking fresh fruits and veggies, and prices are lower than other markets. Some really great deals and bulk items too. This is also a small local business and for anyone who's been in town for a while they know this is the place to go for best value shopping.

This place rather looks more like a warehouse than a market.
Also, their bags smell really bad. What kind of chemicals did they put?

DON'T LEAVE YOUR PAID SHOPPING CART UNATTENDED!
This morning the shop was extremely busy. It took me quite a while to find a parking space and there were so many people inside. It's not easy to push the shopping cart around between those narrow passages and so I left the cart at a corner without obstructing other shoppers. But when I returned the cart after shopping I found that that dollar coin was already taken out by somebody else while I was busy picking up groceries here and there. I don't know how the thief do it but I was sure it was done inside the supermarket. From now on I will push the cart with me all the time without letting it go out of sight again.

A very big Supermarket with lots of products to buy. BBQ meats, fresh vegetanles, frozen foods and fresh seafood can be found. Many brands rice and sauces are provided. Kitchen accessories and washroom products too.

One of the best places to buy groceries. The tellers are very nice and super helpful. One teller run out of her way to help me out with small things that I couldn't find, twice, last week and today. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Excellent prices, especially on produce, fruits, day-to-day chinese items for the most part. Chicken drumsticks are usually on sale! Basic layout but works.

Like a warehouse more than a supermarket. Vegetable and fruit are averagely cheaper than peers. Would say the items are more for Asians.

Great prices, good quality. Recent renovations created more space for cold/frozen foods. Only drawback is no credit cards (but that gets you cheaper prices. Must go spot for Chinese groceries.

Lot of selection and price is average for some stuff. Parking lot is a complete clusterf**k though.

Great selection and great prices but beware that they will not let you use their discarded shipping boxes to make it easier to carry your merchandise and store them in the car. Instead, they choose to destroy them. What a horrible policy.

The cheapest place to purchase Chinese sauces. This store is much larger than the original Vancouver Chinatown one; Offering a much greater selection of products.

It's pretty standard. One chooses the bag of one wants in the market next door according to brand, weight, n type. Then pays for the either by debit card or cash. They give you a receipt n a slip to take next door to get your item. A staff member takes your slip, goes n grabs the bag that you chose n brings it to you. You can either grab the bag yourself (if you're strong enough, depending on size and weight) or if parked nearby request that they help you get the bag to your vehicle n load it. I'm very proud to say that I did it myself. Everyone wears a mask n the market where I paid for the rice, sells both masks and face shields. I come here a few times a year to get my bulk supplies and other Chinese items that I can't get in other places in Chinatown. Love shopping here!

Location in Richmond is more merchandises items (slightly costly) than the Chinatown locations (mostly marked down/soon to be expired items or its regular items much cheaper) but items and store capacity is limited and limited of space of lining up for payment. But Richmond location is still a good location (shopping carts) chinatown is baskets only. Great Store for some food/kitchen condiments.

Some items are low-priced. But then the place is shabbily shelved with the freshness of poultry, seafood questionable. Make sure you have a card w the Interac sign, Or Alipay! No credit cards.

Its not a bad store. Yet their leadership is something to be looked at. Their management acts as if they own the place, but in reality, they are definitely just kids being put into a supervisory position. With the way they handle customers, I would not consider them managers. They are definitely on a skill level of an advance cashier.its sad to see big companies find the wrong people for an important job position.

Lots of choices to choose from. Some items are really cheap compare to other Asian grocery store.

Good prices, horrible service (especially the old lady who seems to be the manager, extremely rude person).

Some good deals on fresh produce and meats. Great selection of Asian sauces, spices and other foods.

Had product quality issue with a bottled drink purchased less than a month ago. The expiry date for the drink is still more than 8 months away. Rice World refused to stand behind the products it sold for the reason they have a 7-day refund policy. And asked us to contact the Taiwan supplier directly.
We have been a customer of Rice World for over 35 years (started with their Vancouver store) but no more since this incident.
The person in charged at the store said they were different from stores like Safeway (and they would not readily stand behind what they sell).

Always good price with lots of variety of Asian food. Line up before go in the store which is the norm now.

Best prices, also surprised to see a lot of korean products; just make sure to double check the dates, i don't think they sell overdue products on purpose, probably just an operation issue

Do not visit. Shop at a different store. As I was entering the store to buy a bag of rice, an employee stopped me and asked me to leave the store. When I asked why, I was told I must either wear the type of clothing they wanted you to, or you must buy from them and wear it before entering. When I pointed out there were other customers dressed similar to me, shopped, lined up at the cashier and was about to pay, the employee continued to refuse my request to enter and said those customers would not be allowed to pay. When I asked if he was discriminating me, he said no and insisted those customers would not be allowed to proceed. When I asked again if he was biased and discriminated myself based on appearance and pointed at these customers who proceeded with their transactions, the employee finally went straight up to these customers and asked them to leave one by one. So.do NOT shop here, unless you wanted to be judged, discriminated, harassed and insulted in front of dozens of people.

Still one of the lowest price market to shop for grocery. Product quality appeared matching their price, so you don't get surprise when browse around. May not satisfied you with less choices and brand name products. Customer service is OK but won't see a lot of smile!
Parking is plenty but full all the time, be patience! Need to wear mask during pandemic.

Its an asian supermarket warehouse type a thing. You can get mostly asian spices and sauces where you dont normally find somewhere else with a good price. Howeverbif your from south east asia like thai viet singapore or indonesia', they dont have as much options. Mind you, bring cash or debit card. They dont take credit card.

Many good stuffs and a low price! But not everything is cheap! Best to compare the price before making purchase.
