Richmond Olympic Oval

By far my favourite venue for cheer competitions. I love this building and the area around it! 5/5

Oval makes the registration process really complicated and it is the app is very difficult to use.

Great facility, friendly staff and helpful service. Wish their wifi was better considering their membership price is significantly more expensive than their competitors.

Great facility and modern design. I've came here for couple time of indoor basketball, it was great experience overall. Clean and well maintained. Paid parking available on site only.

Great rinks for hockey. Change rooms are well set up and it's easy to get in and out of. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent facility for recreational hockey. Could do with some more spectator seating.

Nathan Wong is the best part about this gym, he made this gym worth coming too, his guidance and insights on fitness and training made my gym experience exceptional. If you're new to fitness and the gym he is absolutely the one to go to. The other staff pale in comparison. The gym itself is pretty good, well ventilated covid safe with good equipment, but you go here, for Nathan.

Told there was no parking for a paid cheer event was told to go to the auxiliary lot and get a shuttle.waited 45 mins in the cold for the shuttle back was not impressed.

Horrible service. The front desk staff “Arnie “ refused to help us to book a session even if we are members. She told us to learn to do it by ourselves. Even, this is her job.

And yes, we did use the mobile app to book sessions before. But this time, given the fact that we are out of network data usage for the rest of the month. We asked for help to book the session. She said that is our problem.

We did get our session booked at the end, but the entire process made us really uncomfortable.

We were told maximum of 60 people with the drop in adult section for basketball, there were more than 80 people when we walked in, we paid $20 for the entry, and didnt even get to shoot at all (waited for an hour and a half by the way), so we decided to leave, since there were only 20minutes left until they closed, we spoke to the staff about our concern, but they were very unhelpful, we were told that nothing they can do.every single court was full with people playing full court or half court games. Absolutely no control of the capacity, wasted $20 for 3 of us, and didnt even get to play. They should really enforce the capacity if they stated 60 people maximum on the their registration site.

Good facilities, but if you are coming for the indoor track like I did today, don't bother. The track is totally blocked by the mats for rock climbing and other stuff.

Hands down, best gym in Richmond/Vancouver area. Super spacious, good ventilation, friendly staff and modern equipment. Lots of parking too!
