From the airport to our apartment, the driver was friendly, helpful slugged all our heavy luggage.

I called and no one answered. After I connected, no one answered again. It was not convenient at all.

Taxi honked and yelled at us that there's a stop sign when there wasn't. When confronted, he goes, "that's because you're a dumb Chinese driver" and I got it on camera. Ironic how he is providing services in Richmond.

Terrible service. Called to ask if they had a five passenger vehicle avaliable to take us to the airport.they said yes, it'll be over immediately and dispatch wouldn't give me an ETA. 30 min later I called back asking when the cab would be arriving and they informed me that the vans very busy and could take awhile. So I canceled and ordered a lyft and we all had to order separate rides. Thanks guys, if I had waited, we would've missed our flights. No wonder taxi services are being put out if buisness by Uber and lyft.

I’ve chosen to no longer ride with them. I did a ride share with a stranger during the beginning of the year (when the snow was so bad) and was charged $90 for the trip even though I was told by the driver before hand that he’d only charge me the fare from the other individual’s home. My other bad experiences have been with drivers who want $60 up front to drive me home when that is not allowed. They can ask for a portion of fare but not more than what my fare would cost. Overall I recommend switching to a ride share. They don’t rip you off like Richmond Taxi’s drivers do.

Clean quiet and direct. The ride was good. Driver helpful and he didn't try and drive out of his way to increase the price

If you want to be on time for an airport, pls use taxi services. They are responsible, and will be at your door exact time you requested:)

The dispatcher didn’t actually book my taxi. When I called back after 45 mins, that’s when the cars were finally dispatched. I had waited an hour and 45 minutes for one car to show when I had ordered two. Driver was friendly enough and honest with me about when he got his time call for my cars.

Called a taxi from river rock casino to downtown, driver drove 3 blocks in wrong direction while proceeding to tell me it was going to be 40+$ for a 10km taxi ride. According to the site it's 2.10 a km plus 3.55 base fee, we need to collectively stop using taxes, these drivers are not trustworthy. Should not have to be on guard for a fare everytime you take a cab. Grease ball drivers.

Stick to uber people. These guys rack the metre. Took me on a long route back home.and missed my exit again after. A 30 dollar ride turned to 60 bucks.

All I could do is not tip the driver. What a scam.

Had a super bad experience with this driver, not willing to take me.he is racist, took the white couple stead of me at YVR.wrote complaint but never got back.poor service and management.

Two stars, as to be fair taxi comes relatively fast from time to time. However!
For the second time over the last couple of months, taxi drivers just do not show up! If the first time could more or less be justified, when weather conditions were bad and buses were delayed or canceled, now it is outages!
Not only did a taxi cab not come, but dispatchers did not call and say that cab is not available (even though it was promised to send a car).
No 5 Road in Richmond is difficult to get from, there is only one bus available in certain areas which drives only once in half an hour, and when a bus gets canceled (without notice, - shoutout to TransLink!), a taxi is the last resort, and that fails!

Terrible service, the dispatchers are easily the worst people they don’t even remotely care about your situation, look forward to waiting up to 2 hours for a taxi on a rainy day. I suggest hiring new dispatchers because the ones you have currently are trash

My wife is a flight attendant and parked at an obscure staff parking lot. She landed late last night and got back to her car and a flat battery. It would have taken me over an hour to get to her. I called Richmond Taxi, literally 10mins and $25 later they’d turned up, jumped her car and she was on the road again. Saved a tired wife from a long wait, great service

I use richmond taxi for a long time
They are always on time and even cheaper then uber. If you need taxi for short distance it is cheaper. Uber is good for long distance.

Never a bad trip. Always on time and available when I call. I mostly use for airport runs.

I have to say this without being disrespectful. The company is not employing enough people for the morning commute & not all drivers are acting in accordance to what they say to the switchboard.

On a number of occasions we have encountered drivers that want the higher fares and glorified about how much our fare wasn’t.

It seems that this fare gouging is a common occurrence in this taxi service.

Most drivers take the highest fare then ignore the lower ones.

When they least expect it they can be loosing an opportunity for them to get a regular fare for a clients friends & huge family where they are all dependent on taxis. Or something more fabulous.

Like one taxi driver got a chauffeur job in a well known company, through a fare they drove by giving them fabulous service.

Yes they are now having flaws so why not try to make it better i many small ways, then not make it worse?

One huge customer who is missed by all the drivers, now uses Uber for the all taxi services, because of this problem.

Richmond taxi please help us keep your services reliable as the cracks are getting worse.

Reserved a taxi for the airport and they nevera showed up, call and ask what is going on and someone answer was we have other things to do.
I'll never use this people again.

I will never give them my business as their drivers are unprofessional and have poor attitude. They don't follow regulations in the motor vehicle act of BC. I question if they even have a driver's licence. Absolute disgrace!

Called at 11pm night before for 4: 15am pick in Richmond. They called me 5mins before the driver arrived and the driver called when they arrived. Everything was timely nothing to complain about. Good experience!

Called twice for a cab from the outlet mall. They couldn't figure it out, so I ended up using an Uber, who got there in 4 minutes.

I did the booking through the app. They arrived few minutes before the scheduled time and so that was great. The driver is friendly and the car was good and enough to carry our suitcases

Very fast service, called and mY cab showed up in less than 10min.
Car was clean and driver was a nice guy

I was uneasy when I saw the poor rating after I made the reservation on line. I used Richmond taxi service twice this year and surprisingly super. Receptionst and drivers were friendly.

I will go on record as to never use them again. I went from an address in Richmond this last Tuesday evening to go to the airport. The driver asked where I was flying o and I said Toronto. THen asked if I was going home an I answered yes. At that point he took me on the least direct way and down back aisles tat racked up the cost. What he didnt know is that I lived and worked in Richmond for years so I saw what he was doing. When we finally got there I gave a small tip and then he dumped my luggage behind his car and tore off. Not even placed on the curb.

Call centre is relatively fast.taxis have always come on time when I pre booked. Beware of drivers trying to use the meter instead of flat rate when leaving the airport. Some taxi drivers play dumb and act like they don't know there's a flat rate (this goes for all taxi companies with taxis at the airport)

Called 4 days ahead to arrange a van taxi. No confirmation what do ever. On the day of I called 10 minutes before my arranged pick up time and they said no van taxi and insisted on sending two taxis and charge me for it. Very poor practice of business -

I scheduled from 3 pm to come pick me up at 5pm and it was 20 minutes late i had to cancell it when i had an important apointment. It is very improfasional. And i will never deal with this company anymore.this company is not recommended
