Horrible service, old building that's outdated and not up to code (paper thin walls with no insulation/ sound barrier), dirty, dusty, warped floors due to moisture, mildew. Loud tenants with children and parents that will stay up past 2am with there kids violating noise rules. When going to office to rectify noise situation, manager was incompetent to due so and told me I was 'yelling at her'. Lol.when told there was smoking just outside my door aswell by the same noise violater, she then said I was the one banging on the wall, and told to leave the office without anything being done about the problem.
Warned a new tenant newly arriving at the motel about noise. The manager started yelling at me claiming I was verbally attacking her.lol.totally unprofessional and disrespectful. The husband of the manager threatened me violence after the fact.
Do not go to this motel you will be very disappointed and it is a complete waste of your time and money.

Super comfortable and clean. Walking distance to everything you need. We felt at home during our week long stay. Staff were very friendly.

We rented a condo. It had everything we needed. Clean inside but things need updating (furniture is ancient and shower needs some repair, albeit still usable). Patio had not been cleaned, which was lamentable but whatever. Housekeeping doesnt automatically come in; we washed our own towels. Thankful for the in-suite laundry! Management checked in with us by text to see to our needs.
Superb location on the beach with lots of chairs and floaties etc to use. Beautiful beach and lake. So much fun to be had, be it swimming or just chilling on the beach. Both sides of the condo building have a lake view. Its on the hwy so it is noisy but so is the room a/c, haha. The city workers seem to have early hours to beat the heat, i guess, so the noise woke us up at like 6: 30 am maybe? It didnt bother us too much. Overall, good facility for the price. We shall be back!

We came here to stay for a couple days, during our stay the Forrest fire was active with an incredible view from the balcony and of the lake.

Management was nice
The rooms were clean, bathroom was kept up to date and clean.
It’s a quiet family friendly park, lots of kids
Private beach is nice and it’s great walking distance to everywhere.
There’s bbq’s to use to cook dinner. A nice grassy areas go eat your meals looking into the lake.

There is also electric scooter rentals on the property.
We will definitely stay here again.

For the price the condo I rented for a month was a great deal. Very peaceful and quiet with full kitchen and laundry.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and strive to make my stay pleasant.

I would recommend as the best deal for the price in Osoyoos.

This was like having a beach hut, so close to the lake. Quiet, just the sound of the waves on the beach. Welcome was lovely and right off the road.

Rooms are nice and cozy, The service is absolutely amazing! They had no problem with me checking in 4 hours earlier than the check in time. The lady that was working was absolutely incredible. Location is literally on the beach!

Had a wonderful one night stay. The room was perfect. Very relaxing after our long drive. Also the exceptional support they gave to allow us to park our truck was very helpful.

Unfortunately, my children were sick and we were unable to travel. Richter Pass basically have a ZERO cancellation policy. If you don't cancel 30 days before, you have to pay a 1 night fee? In this time of illness and covid- who does that? Should I have taken children who were SICK? And go against all HEALTH RULES AND REGULATIONS. I want to respect our health policy and prevent the spread of illness. But it cost me $500! I will NEVER book here again. One would think there would be a credit, or a lower cancellation fee or something more reasonable. But $500? !? ! They just lost a customer.

Nestled in between two beaches, the Richter Pass is a quaint and unassuming motel with some newer updates. Our room had a queen and twin bed with comfy sheets, a microwave and a mini fridge. Some improvements like blackout curtains would be nice. Overall would definitely stay here again for the location.

To call this a resort is truly a stretch. There was a drug deal just at the bottom of our stairs, at the adjacent motel. The 3 story unit was filthy leading up to the suite. The linoleum in the kitchen was shabby. The pleather furniture in the living room was torn. The unit was hot. I’ve stayed at 250 night places that were amazing. 585 bucks for this place was was outrageous. An elderly couple was staying at the rundown Motel next-door and they were extremely disappointed, especially since they paid almost $1300 for a couple nights. The owner of the building I stayed in also on the motel next-door. Unpleated vehicles and car parts all over the parking lot. The only redeeming quality was it was right beside the beach. Stay at the Holiday Inn two buildings up for cheaper and much more accommodating. I do not recommend this place.

We had a room with a view of the lake and a private balcony. Not all rooms are like that, but ours was amazing! We also liked that the room had a little kitchen. Everything was clean and comfortable and the location is very central.

For the price, you get the best private beach, easy going helpful staff, recent upgrades to the entire motel are nice!

It was a nice place to stay. They had a couple little shows for entertainment. I thought that was different and nice. The only thing is getting someone to answer the phone at the front desk.

Great little motel. Right on the beach and the sand it’s nice compared to some of the other motels down the beach. The motel was a great location walking distance to many places. You could walk across town if you are a walker (or rent a bike). The rooms are large, had AC. Our room happened to have a large deck and was right on the water. My only issue is that the doors and windows are a little hard to open and closed, probably just need some DW-40 and tiny maintenance. But for the price and location I will forgive.

Spent a week there in May 2022 in a two bedroom condo. Place was clean, comfy beds, shower was hot, kitchen was perfect, great patio table with chairs and awesome hosts! Nice green spaces and fire chimneys, and lawn chairs to use. Stacy and Huey are fantastic people - can’t wait to book with them again!

All good here, kitchenette is on pointe, nice beach access, close to amenities (working on the road amenities include a liquor store and something edible) friendly staff at check in. No towel exchange in a week, but I can walk tower to the office. Long term stays don't get daily housekeeping (assumption)
Overall, I would recommend it to others.

Stayed just 2 days in suite 332. Views of the lake and mountains are stunning. Easy access to beautiful beach and main road. But! The room should be beautiful too. A home from home! We were on the second floor so steps are steep. Bed was saggy and squeaky. Linen and furnishings could easily be much better. Room was small so was kitchen and outdated tiny bathroom. My bath resulted in only cold water flowing from tap and shower simultaneously. Barbeque was very dirty. Didn't have time to discuss my complaints with management.
Needs lots of work!

Due to getting turned back from the severe weather we were late for our checkin but the Manager lady was very gracious and allowed us to checkin later and made accomodations for our keys. Much much appreciated!

Stacey was very personable on our last minute check in… quaint clean pet friendly room for our one night stay. Close to beach walk and town amenities.

Stayed in September in an unrenovated 2 queen lake view room. Won't stay again until renos are done.
Partially carpeted floors, carpeted balcony (what?), 70s lighting, 60s kitchenette, beds were old and dirty.
Only good thing is the lake view.

Though the buildings are older, the rooms are very clean and the staff, most especially Stacy in the office, are friendly and incredible. Thank you for a great stay!

I can't say enough good things about this motel, all the rooms have been beautifully remodeled and are very comfortable and warm. But the crowning glory of this place is the managers Huey and Stacy, they are incredible people that made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They are both very knowledgeable about the area as they have been here for many years. They are two of the sweetest people and they draw you into this place, their ideas for the improvements to the property are brilliant! They gave us an Oasis in the middle of our storm and for that we will be forever grateful, thank you Stacy and Huey for your hospitality and genuine hearts!

Pleasantly surprised when my boyfriend and I arrived and we had everything we needed. A full fridge, kitchen, pots, pans and utensils. Was so handy that we could grocery shop and cook ourselves and use the BBQS. Our room was clean and we had a wonderful stay. The private beach at the back is better than the other side by far. No rocks and soft sand with a hose to rinse your feet off. Will for sure be booking here for next summers annual trip. Thanks for the great memories!

Excellent stay! We loved our 2 bedroom condo. Can’t beat the location, beach, amenities and the cleanliness. Management staff excellent! Keep up the great work. We will definitely be back.

From packs of cigarettes left on the patio furniture, to used masks left in the dresser, Richter pass Motor Inn has fallen off since changing ownership. The smoke detector was no where to be seen, with the wires hanging from the ceiling, television did not function, a curtain rod fell down when my pregnant wife opened the blinds. Previously the location and great, no, incredible staff would have my star rating at 4-5 stars. Dirty dishes, broken furniture, no bathroom fan, and to top it all of: during a power outage the emergency lighting was not functioning.

Came here with the family and kids. Had a blast! Right on the beach, friendly staff clean rooms

Great location, great prices! Older building in need of an upgrade but literally steps away from beach/lake. They have the convenience of a BBQ and air to fill your floaties.

Rooms were great for the price. Unfortunately the beds are a little firm but you get what you pay for.

Pick up your sweetie in your '57 Chevy or pack up your family in the ol' station wagon and head on down to this vintage motor inn! Although lacking some of the "modern" conveniences, this motel has everything you really need. Super clean, comfortable and completely updated it is just steps from a beautiful beach. Friendly staff and a perfect location make it a great flashback stay. We will be back!

Amazing location.right in the middle of the resort strip. 1 mins drive from food and liquor store. Great coffee shop walking distance. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Love this place. We have been coming here since 1985. Just a great way to spend a week and sunny weather pretty much guarenteed. Clean and very well managed. Now getting a facelift so changing but looks awesome

It's not the best place in Osoyoos to stay but it's good for a few nights if you don't wanna stay in the room long. The rooms are need of an update, old and not really clean in my opinion. Parking is very narrow and overall just not at the top of my list for choices

Great location, lovely managers trying hard to maintain a much older motel without enough staff. Accommodations are not 5 star by any means but for a family holiday with a safe and beautiful beachfront you can't go wrong.
