Ricky's All Day Grill - Ladner

Food quality was not very good for the amount that they are charging, I was not impressed. The waffles were undercooked and doughy, while the chicken dish was basically a bunch of stuff thrown together. We also ended up waiting forever for our server even though the restaurant was pretty empty, would not come back again.

Great place to take the family or friends. Good food. Exelent made fresh truly Italian pizza. Very friendly staff. Great experience. Definitely recomend them. Mike.

Grilled cheese was burnt, cold burger was good ff for both orders were cold

It is consistently Ok. Good value for the dollar. Good service also. However, it always has that greasy spoon Aurora associated.

Yes the service was slow as the other reviews stated. They seem understaffed. However we were told there would be a wait for food before we were seated, so we knew what to expect. The food made up for it though. Soo good! I had a breakie bowl, my husband had the 2 by 5. We also got two kids meals and my kids enjoyed them as well.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy myself here. I was very wrong. I had a eggs Bennie and it was cooked perfectly. Price was very reasonable. The service was prompt and friendly, place clean. My 14 month got a free little mini meal which was really cute. I'll make the trip from Richmond to there again.

I was walking by and saw their happy hour sign.good price for an app and a beer instead of fast food joint. I ordered poutine and breaded shrimp.it was awesome and just enough.service was great. Jazz is a new server and really friendly. Varinder the GM chatted with me at the bar. Both were super nice.

The people who work there and arrogate and not helpful. This place will be closed permanently very soon.high prices and poor food. Dont waste your time and money.

I’ve eaten lunch here several times and they have an amazing cheese soup! Really really tasty but it takes a special talent to screw up fries and gravy with cheese curds aka poutine! It’s way, way to salty and a little spicy as well. Great if you like spicy and a hint of what must be a tasty beef gravy as well. But the hint of good is butchered with more salt than anyone should every eat never mind find appealing! Maybe someone screwed the cap off the salt shaker? But served it anyway thinking they scraped most of it off?

Good ol' grand forks breakfast. I'm stuffed! Sausages were a little overdone but everything else was good. Service was decent.

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years. Its had its ups and downs but I still keep coming back. One thing thing I noticed is their hollandaise sauce has changed and I don't personally care for it.

Salt, pepper and creamers that are previously served to a table are put in buckets on the back counter to reuse. Management is very toxic.

Great brunch and good service! Loved the meat lovers bowl.hollandaise sauce on it with the chorizo and potato hashbrowns was amazing!

Food was horribly prepared.
Fries were practically raw
Fish dish was literally dripping in with oil and inedible
Au jue was nothing more than warmed up beef broth from a carton.

Called to tell the manager I was not impressed

He tried to offer me 50%off my next order.
He then hung up on me when I didn’t accept that as a good response.

Went in on foot to show firsthand how horrible the state of the food was. When the manager FINALLY gained the courage to come out and try to defend his sad excuse for a meal he then proceeded to lie about his name when I asked. And I quote “I don’t have a last name”

Clearly this manager knew exactly how bad the food he was allowing to be sent out was and was simply worried about any blowback on himself and not actually providing better service

Is that the kind of response your management is supposed to provide to an unhappy customer?

Have come back 4 times now really trying to give it a shot. Food is pretty good and decor is nice. The restaurant was once again almost empty and yet service was again brutal. Takes about 15 mins or so to get a drink and service in general is slow and feels as if servers don’t care. It’s too bad because food is good. I don’t think I’ll try again as the waits are rather annoying.

We went here today in the afternoon looking for a quick dinner. I saw their high rating, and we stopped by before heading to the ferries. To my surprise, the most recent reviews are not so great. Personally, we had a fantastic experience with their friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. I had the blackened chicken alfredo, and my partner had the waffle and fried chicken. Both were delicious and fresh. Our server came by frequently and was very sweet, service was so good I promised to write them a review! Looking forward to stopping by again soon. -Dawn

If i could a 0 stars, i would. A friend and i came in to eat today and i ordered the butter chicken (it was a special) when it arrived, there was a massive black hair in my food. (I have red hair and my friend has blonde hair so it was defiantly not our hair) called our sever over and she took it away, didn’t say sorry or anything. She asked if i wanted another one and i said no multiple times. She came to the table 5 minutes later with another one and I’m 95% sure they just pulled the hair out and put it on a different plate. I never received a sorry or anything. Just Terrible!

Came out from pitt meadows to have breakfast with a friend. Omg the worst breakfast ever.so disappointed, The server was not concerned in any way.wont go back.need some awareness.

The starting salad was warm and soggy. How does someone screw up a ceaser salad. The entrees took over 30 minutes to arrive.

They have a very limited menu geared toward the yuppy uptown crowd. Hard to justify the cost for a burger or beef dip.

My second visit to this restaurant. Food is pretty bland all around. Had butter chicken on my first visit. Sauce tasted like something out of a store bought jar. In my opinion, the portion size of this dish should be reduced.it's big! Had a burger on today's visit and this was probably the most bland burger I have ever eaten. It was cooked properly, just needs alot of help in seasonings and or toppings to give it some taste. My daughter like the place for the desert on the kids menu which is why we went. My opinion is that this restaurants pricing is high based on the quality of food I have experienced.

Got sick from the breakfast will not go there again my friend ask for mayo and they brought it and it had a crust on it it was bad

Decent all day brekky/diner in Ladner. Large parking lot with accessible entrance & both table & booth options. Not gourmet food but equal to Denny's. Good service too!

Was good until December now service sucks menu say seniors but some days you get that but at normal none seniors price the loyalty isn't any good even if you have a full card yep all changed for the worse.

Food is always cold will never go back had given this restaurant 2nd and 3rd chance every time a disaster no more ever

Too bad I can't give zero stars. The service was rude, unprofessional and indifferent. We called in to book a table for 13 and the response was immediately "I don't know if we can do it", when we said we won't be coming they immediately said "Okay, we can do it". What?
We ordered the food and it took 35-40 minutes to arrive even though the place was half empty. When we complained, the manager (a woman in her fifties) came and initially apologized but then explained to us it was actually not that long (not true, one of us happened to be looking at her phone when we were ordering and noticed the time). The manager then left only to come back (without us asking for it) and showed us a printed note which said the order was put in 3 minutes after the time we said (if it was put on the computer at that time we must have ordered it a few minutes earlier.). This manager came back several times later and kept arguing and telling us we are wrong. One of our young children was crying because he waited so long for his food and she said "the child was already crying when he came into the restaurant, it isn't because of us"! One of the waiters actually said that "other children at the restaurant are behaving fine, only your child is crying"! So rude. At the end we got the bill only to find out we were automatically billed 15% gratuity! Only when the owner showed up at our request did they remove the gratuity.
I eat at restaurants all the time and sometimes it takes a while for the food to show up and if I complain they apologize. Not this lady manager, she just kept coming back, arguing and repeating how we, the paying customers, are wrong. Never seen such behaviour from a manager and I will never set a foot there again.
