Ricky's Country Restaurant

Food is ok, nothing special but it is not bad. The place is cool, look likes one of those restaurants in Orlando, FL. The service is kinda peculiar. The waitress was not rude, and she was actually fun, but at the same time like if she didn't care too much.
I'll go back to try breakfast.

I recently visited this Ricky's location and it was great! It wasn't busy, we were seated right away, the server was pleasant and accommodating and food was pretty good. I found the mushroom soup quite oily, it's normally not but other than that my wrap and partners grilled cheese were delicious! We enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back to this location!

My better half had the Chicken Philly Cheesestake, and I had a bite. That's what I'm ordering on our next visit.

I've been to many Ricky's all over BC and Alberta.
This one serves one of the best foods I've had in Ricky's.
The servers greet you with a smile and are prompt to tend to you.
Atmosphere is relaxed and great, exactly how you expect to feel at a Ricky's, having a family meal with loved ones.
Great place!

Love this place but for 2 years now the A/c has been broken so if this doesn't get fixed by summer time I will not be returning. No excuse to have a broken Air conditioning down for that long.

I found mold inside my beer and I asked them to change it and I saw mold in the second glass again.

I visited the restaurant as part of a private event in the private room. The food was good. I had the veggie burger and fries. The taste was good. The presentation could use some help. I was told that they were short staffed that night. It's never easy to run a restaurant when your employees don't show up.

Our first time experience at Ricky's was quite positive!
This place is so welcoming, extremely clean, warm and cozy! The service was beyond our expectations & the food tasted so delicious and the portions were very large sizes & we had to take home most of it!
There is a lot of food varieties on the menu and plenty to choose from. The owner and the staff were friendly and in good spirits!
I would recommend this location to anyone to enjoy a great meal in a cozy atmosphere & this is our new favorite place now and will definitely go back again!

I loved the quaint decor and the food was great! Server was friendly, but disappeared around the time we wanted the bill so that we could return to the office. I'd definitely come back again.

Hostess was not welcoming at all. Wasn't even sure if I should follow her or not. Poutine with chicken strip for lunch was. So bland. No flavour at all. Waitress was good at her job.

I did not feel very welcomed initially, despite there not being many customers in the restaurant at the time. The older staff seemed impolite and made us wait before we were seated for some reason. The younger waitress was quite nice but we kept getting looks from the older staff even after we were seated

Poor service, awful food.

Fish was super greasy, fries were cold and overcooked. No follow up on beverages.

Place n Ed’s a really good cleaning and an update wouldn’t hurt it. Bathrooms were disgusting.

Management/Owner needs to take note.

Abysmal would be a compliment.
After waiting 40min for our food - one of the burgers came with no fries (waited another 10min for that).
The pop was flat, they offered us canned pop which was nice but not before the manager (older gentleman) told us that there isn't actually anything wrong with the pop.
Tried to pay with a recently purchased/recieved gift card (for Rickys) and they wouldn't take it. Paying full-price felt criminal.
I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was REALLY bad.

This is my first time here and it was not a pleasant experience. I have studied the menu ahead of time and was looking forward for my dinner gathering with one extra family. Not sure if our server is new to her job. After taking our order and we all confirmed the detail. Number of things went wrong. First we ordered a soup (meal size) with garlic bread. It came in a cup size instead (no bread). We also ordered a burger with lettuce wrap. This option was highlighted on their menu. We explained to the server few time and make sure she understands. She end up giving us a burger with bun. We asked for and exchange and it came back with literally just TWO pieces of lettuce?
If you have a lettuce wrapped burger elsewhere you should know how’s that should be (Very disappointed). We also ordered a kid meal. The server didn’t offer any drink until we remembered that was included. Overall the food was blend and the server knowledgeable need a big improvement.

Only getting 3 stars because staff is great. Wrote a previous review but I don’t think head office is interested in improving. 1) NOT wheelchair accessible as website says; no automatic doors 2) If you’re Jewish you have no breakfast meat choices 3) Worst bavarian & breakfast sausage I’ve ever had
Going downhill since it changed from ABC to Ricky’s.

I’m giving the stars to the people and servers who work there because they are beyond amazing but the food is blend and nothing special about it …

Definitely not as good as the Mission branch, noticed it took a long time for people to be seated/orders taken and for people to notice the simple things like your coffee is empty. Certainly was plenty of staff, and the bathroom was not clean.
Surprised they would have closed the other location and kept this one open, bummer

This is usually a reliably good place to get decent servings of food cooked well, for a reasonable price. This evening's schnitzelfest was not a good example. Schnitzel overdone, red cabbage dry, but the hunter sauce was great. I'll go back but I won't order that again.

Food was generous and is good but PLEASE DON'T PLAY YOUR MUSIC.just too jumpy and dies not calm the heart. If you do play music let's make it pleasant and not suit your younger staff. Just my suggestion.

I have been a fan of their brand of comfort food for a long time and the change of location gives a bigger venue than before. The same owners are keeping the new restaurant running smoothly to keep up the standard of food and service as they go through the usual teething pains of a new system of computers and adding staff.

We travel from Fort langley to coquitlam for the fajitas.they are better than the Mexican restaurants. The waitress is so friendly and sweet to our kids

Love this place, first time going to this restaurant. I really liked how chill it is and has a cozy vibe to it. The food was all delicious, this is now going to be one of my go to places when I'm in this area.

This used to be ABC Restaurant until about 2 months ago. I gave 3 stars because the servers consistently go above and beyond with their customer service. Some great items from the ABC menu are no longer offered, unfortunately. Ricky's farmer's sausage is truly terrible; it has very little flavour, has a very thick casing, and does not seem to char at all. They should have stuck with the sausage that ABC had. The only other options are breakfast sausage and chorizo for breakfast sausages.
