Ricky's Country Restaurant - Maple Ridge

Definitely my favourite restaurant to go to. The only place I find that the food is always amazing, the place is cozy and the staff are always so friendly but last night was probably the best time I have ever been … went in around 4 for the all day breakfast and as usual amazing food! The older lady who was our server was super friendly, kept our coffee topped up, checked on us to see how we were doing and even told us we were free to take our time and finish our coffee after we were done eating and was just super friendly with us, sorry I didn’t catch her name but would like to thank her and the chef for making our date night great! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants great food, great service and quiet place to have a meal:)

This place can go unnoticed because of its location but trust me you should take the extra moment or two to find it.
The service is friendly. They make you feel like you're eating at home. The food also has that home feeling to it. I've tried the burger, tomato basil soup, and the philly cheese steak. I recommend all of them.

Had a great meeting, separated from the main crowd, service was good. Wait staff has a sense of humor.

The food was delicious. Restaurant was very clean. And my waitress was friendly and helpful

We had a large group and we were very well looked after. Great sevice and the food was good.

I believe in “first impressions last”. First time dining here for brunch and I didn’t have good experience. Other customers that have ordered after us got their food first, which doesn’t make sense. We waited a long time for our appetizer. And waited a little while again for our meal and finally my bennies came and they served it with the hard boiled eggs. The server didn’t ask how I wanted my eggs, but assuming bennies would not be served hard boiled. Waited 40 minutes for our meal then waited again 15 minutes for them to make it right until I lost my appetite and cancelled my order. It’s not the servers fault but I think the kitchen service could be better.

Service was absolutely awful. Instead of checkin in on our table or bringing the bill, clearing anything, the waitress decided to talk to a table of people she knew for 20 minutes, water cups sat empty for 45 minutes, food was just bad. All in all, 0/10

Our group was reserved for 20.26 people came. Servers were on their game. Kitchen sent out EXCELLENT food in a really timely manner. SO impressed. Thank you.

The servers has NO SERVICE ETIQUETTE on this restaurant. Ignoring and leaving the guest waiting by the front door without acknowledging them even though the restaurant was not busy. If you are looking for standard service better check and dine-in Coquitlam Grill. You will get GREAT SERVICE there!

YES! I am sure that I am giving right review on the right Ricky’s location. We were there yesterday. Not hard to remember, intersection Lougheed Highway and Dewdney Trunk. Landmark near Staples, Canadian tire and Chrysler dealership.

Food tastes great, as does the coffee. Sad to see the fish tank go, though. I'll miss it.

Worst place to have breakfast. One thing they have been consistent with is disappointing customers each time. Have been here several times and have been disappointed each time. Staff with huge attitude. Very outdated and poorly cleaned interior. Surprised they are allowed to operate under these conditions. My last visit for sure. Save yourself disappoint and go else where.

I found this particular the service was slow and it took quiet a long time to get my order delivered to my table.

The atmosphere and service is always amazing! Today though, the chicken tenders where to soft. The breading to thin over the chicken and too chewy.

Ricky's is consistently good whichever one of their locations I've been to, The maple ridge location is nicely set up

Great take out place. Many options for lunch sed they open early so I can place big orders well ahead. Orders are accurate and customers compliment them.

I enjoyed my meal and it was nice and clean.had liver and onions.something I don't normally order but wanted to try. Loved the gravy an mashed potatoes.

Had beef dip no taste meat had a shiny look greeny hub had fish and chips fish was soggy fries were great 1st time there last time there

Worst service ever. I was done my coffee before my food arrived, asked for a refill. Was told yes sir. Finished my meal, still no coffee refill. Waitress cleared my plate, asked if I wanted another coffee. I said yes. 20 minutes went by without receiving it. The coffee is $4. Without any refills definitely a rip off. I usually leave 20% tip but didn't leave anything, I actually waited for her to count out $1.95 in change.

This place is ridiculous I go here every day and I went in today to pick up my food and said thank you dear as I was picking it up and the manager gives me a call to tell me the girl felt uncomfortable for me saying thank you dear, I am a paying coustmer who comes in everyday and he has the nerve to call me for something so ridiculous because some girl felt uncomfortable for me saying thank you dear never coming here again and no one from my whole work is ever eating there again and we bring a lot of business to this place so great job man.

Love the stuff here, especially as the proportions tend to be on the generous side depending what you get and who's on shift ha.
Snap shows the 6pec chicken tender meal with a ceasar salad and a side of their new breaded prawns which are delicious.
Was happily surprised how well the two dishes compliment another taste wise.

Food was good. Staff was very friendly. I ordered soup to start but they have no crackers, which I thought was weird. Overall it good. I would recommend this place

Had the classic eggs Benny. Was good. The potatoes were cold and not fresh. Didn't eat them. Waitress came by after eggs were eaten and asked if I wanted them replaced I declined as my eggs were gone. She took $4 off bill. Service was good for the most part.

So good! Service is great and friendly. The food is amazing. I think they just updated their menu. The burgers are huge and the chicken strips & fries are the best I've had yet. Definitely stop in!

I was pleasantly surprise that they had chaffle keto friendly, and it was fantastic. Service was great too!

I had the chicken and waffles with bacon and I asked them to under cook the waffle add some butter as soon as it is done and to crisp the bacon slightly, my order was perfect! Best I have ever had!

I’ve been a waiter for 5 years in high end restaurants and travelled the world going to high listed restaurants and not once have I had a waiter as amazing as Steve! He was super vigilant and was able to get all the things we needed with out us needing to ask. I hope the managers and owners know about him being on their team!

Greeted by gracious manager food was very tasty and delicious yummy service was awesome and friendly

When we actually got our food it was pretty nice. Lost stars are for the poor service. Ordered online for pick up at a specified time and when I showed up they hadn't even started the order then had to wait 30 mins with little to no update on why a simple breakfast order was taking so long. Finally I had to ask what the delay was only to find that the order had been set out by someone a few minutes earlier placed alongside a delivery order. If I hadn't asked about the delay it would have still been sitting there. I understand it's unique times but the communication was really poor.

And to top it off when we got home we discovered part of the order was missing.

Oh my.come here often today the waitress outside around 11: 30 A. M clearly did not want to be there RUDE. There were two of us.we were here two weeks ago. The soup stone cold sent back came back lukewarm she asked was it better told her nope she walked away. Asked for our meal to come after soup "well that is up to the kitchen not me" Pardon me tell them. We were sharing a 6 piece chicken strips clearly asked for it to be split and no coleslaw but extra fries. Not split but side plates dumped at our table no extra fries however they were stone cold as well. We also had to ask for the croutons for the soup. Excuse me this is covid 19 times we are here to support local small busines. The croutons a bowl to share no utensils our food dig in folks it's covid but hey put your hands all over the shared food after clearly asking her to have it split up.
Went inside to pay waitress had the audacity to complain I came in without my bill.print another. I asked her to please add the tip amount so I could just tap and not touch. This was obviously too much for her she added the tip but left it so I still had to press buttons for no tip as it was added then tap.
Not good Ricky's. When we come next week leaving if she is the server

Well Jamie thanks for calling your concern over the service and food and rudeness of your server Dawn your call leaves me in complete bewilderment. For you to tell me she is an excellent server no she is not. For you to tell me food is a colder temperature served outside.then have the kitchen heat the soup to a proper appropriate temperature to allow for outside service. Your concern over how food was served during covid 19 was beyond appalling. Perhaps you are unaware there is a pandemic going on FOOD is not communal proper utensils are required as well as separate plates.

As i said your concern over our experience in your restaurant on Saturday is underwhelming.
At the end of the call to say and I quote well I hope you give us another chance why would you do not care about long time customers. We believe in supporting local not yours

It was our first time here and it was great! The server (Marg, I think?) was friendly, fast and really nice. My husband said his burger was one of the best he'd had, and my reuben totally hit the spot. Really good, will be back, thanks!

They have a pop up patio and they're working so hard to make it comfortable and safe. They have 3 big event umbrellas and I have eaten there in the rain and stayed dry. And the staff and doing a great job.

SO OVERPRICED! I had an iced tea, a burger and a dessert and my bill was $31! Ouch. Used to love this place and go here all the time many years ago but that's too rich for my blood!

Ordered breakfast this morning took over half hour for two meals eggs Bennie and their brioche sandwich left after half hour the waitress said it was because of skip the dishes not happy ended up going to Tim Hortons are you guys not happy serving food to walk in customers

We love this place. Husband loves the prawn fettuccine alfredo.the owners are so friendly and kind and the staff here are so friendly. They all feel like family! It feels like home here and we are frequent visitors! We are so glad they are in our neighbourhood!

I went to Ricky's Sunday morning with a couple of friends and had a great morning. The staff were friendly and food was good. Will be back again.

Was served a mug with lipstick still on the rim. Wiped it off with my finger to make sure what I was seeing was lipstick. Manager was zero help. We only received an apology. Will never be going back

Their outdoor sign fell down do they stored it in the dining room. We went in for brunch and were brought to our seat but couldn't sit on the one side. The server had walked away and we were not impressed so just walked out. Just so tacky.

Service was ok food took a real long time hashbrowns were cold omelet was 60% smaller than last time I was there.
Noticed sign said cooks wanted.

Horrible service: ordered online and was told to pick-up at 1: 30PM, but food did not come out until 30 minutes after. Because I had an errand that needed me to leave at 2PM, I informed the staff that I would be okay to pick up my food after my errand is over, but they insisted that the food would be ready in 2 minutes (it was not ready in 2 minutes and I had to leave without being able to pick up my meal and was late for my errand). Also, while waiting for my food, I asked the staff when my food would be ready, but instead of answering me, they avoided both me and my question, and there was no apology for the delay. If Ricky’s is not able to keep up with what they say their pick-up time is online, they need to update their system to make sure it accurately reflects pick-up times. I understand that not everything can always go to plan, but the way the staff dealt with this was also unacceptable customer service and I will not be returning to be served at Ricky’s. There are much better options in the area that are much more punctual and understanding to customers.

The only positive interaction I had with this staff was when they said they would refund my meal after I told them that I could no longer pick it up.

Great place to eat (I go for breakfast) and they are accommodating for splitting meals and substituting things reasonably. Rarely a wait for a table, though there is one table across from the kitchen doors you don’t want to sit at as it’s very noisy and disruptive. Food is delicious every time and they seem to be following all the covid safety/cleaning protocols they can

Absolutely the worst and laziest made meals we have ever had. Ordered 2 bacon and cheese burgers from this establishment through skip the dishes. The burgers came with no bacon or cheese and the burger patty's where just broken up pieces of ground beef, not even whole patties or enough beef to make a whole patty. Burger King or any other fast food establishment can make a better burger than this so called " restaurant"

Quick bite while waiting for an oil change at Euro Werks next door. I've never been to a Ricky's but had to comment. Chicken Tenders are EASILY the best I've ever had anywhere. Fantastic home made batter, freshly sliced chicken breast, decent fries and fantastic slaw. Nuff sed.

Garlic bread was very soggy staff was nice wide array of foods, fairly priced, Caesar salad was very bland, I would recommend coming here just don't order the Caesar salad or garlic bread.

The portions were enormous, juicy, tasty, and nobody including the kids had room for dessert! Thanks to our server who was doing a fantastic job running the dining room solo, which even with the pandemic, is an enormous feat!

I was here on Friday and i must say i was apprehensive about going with the covid and what not but as soon and my wife and i and 2 boys got there we were approached but probably the best server ever i legitimately have never had someone as friendly and polite and on point with service his name was Steven and he had that best Scottish accent i gave him a awesome tip he deserved it and he should be getting paid top wage in my opinion. Food was fast and amazing as always thumbs up from me

Since covid this was the first time to dine in at a restaurant and i just want to say that i was impressed by all the safety measures and i felt safe. Also the BLT was delicious. I will be going back for breakfast next time.

Had ABC Benny and something was wrong with the bernaise sauce. Did not make it out of the restaurant before being sick. Muffins were not toasted. Bennies were lukewarm. Shredded potatoes were medium hot and not browned. Short staffed. Took forever. Found a hair in my coffee and they didn't comp it. Will NOT go back. On a positive note staff were very friendly.

Great selection of feel good foods. They provided a free meal for our 10month old, which was very surprising in this day and age. We got to choose from fresh fruit, pancakes, mashed potoatoes. Our little one has never had pancakes so we selected that. They came with whipped butter and syrup and our little one loved them. Great dish portions including the salades. Not too salty, full flavour meals. Nice family atmosphere. Love the big fish tank as soon as you enter with live fish entertaining you as you wait to be seated.

Had a meal at the Ricky's restaurant in Maple Ridge today. Tried their beef dip and found it to be very dry and it sure didn't taste like anything much. Was also cold! My friend had an omelet and was cold. Very poor slow service and forgetful staff. All in all i won't be visiting again.

This restuarant is doing an amazing job creating a safe dining experience! Great food, great service and you can feel good about eating here. I highly recommend it. Plus it is a local, family-owned business that deserves your support.

Considering our COVID-19 impacted times (all rules are followed), this restaurant has proven to be an ideal place to have a meal. Great service (we had the great fortune to have the same Scottish waiter we had on our first visit who went out of his way to serve us well) and good food.

Great spot to eat. Friendly knowledgeable staff with good customer service. Management does a good job with this location. I always bring my family here from out of town and they always love it.

I was really excited to here Ricky's was back open again so I took my mother and had a Chorizo bowl as I felt like something hearty. Mom had the peach cobbler pancakes. Everyone seemed upbeat and happy to see us.we will be back again.call us regulars.

We went on a slow day but the food was awesome and the service was just as awesome! They even helped accommodate our stroller as our child was napping in it!

Ordered a chicken ceaser wrap.chicken was cold, no croutons and the wrap was barely wrapped. Fell apart just by picking it up. Incredibly disappointing. Won't order again

3 words: Chorizo Breakfast Bowl - My favorite restaurant breakfast meal. That aside, this restaurant has always been a hometown favorite since it's days as an ABC. This restaurant has always been clean, friendly, and reliable. The menu is nothing new or ground breaking, just your typical breakfast/lunch/dinner chain restaurant but the food is always good with good portions, for a good price. It's Good!

Took mother out for a bday breakfast and she was very pleased with it. The food is very good as well as the service. They had a buffet on but didn't try it. Looked good lots to choose from. Next time. This place is mother approved
