Ride BC

My husband and I had a fantastic time doing a guided tour with James! We're relative newcomers to mountain biking, and James picked out the perfect sequence of trails for us to get comfortable early and then start testing ourselves on a bit more challenging terrain. Thankfully, he's also a great coach; his guidance meant we both improved during the course of our ride and feel ready to practice more of what he showed us on our home trails. Beyond his obvious biking skills, we loved touring with James because he is so passionate and contributes so much to the development of the trail network - so many other riders we passed knew him (felt like we were with a local celebrity) and we got the inside story of many trails - some of which he built himself. He also gave some great recommendations for other activities in Squamish on our trip - we owe a big part of our itinerary to him! We would definitely book again with RideBC - hoping this trip to Squamish isn't our last! (I would include pictures because the scenery was awesome, but we honestly were too wrapped up with the biking!)

Great experience with James on a guided ride / lesson in Squamish! He’s very enjoyable to ride with, provides highly useful confidence-inspiring tips that had me tackling some slabs that I’d surely have put in the “too sketchy” category without his guidance. I feel that I’m a better rider with just a few tips in a short ~4 hour ride (wasn’t even booked as a lesson, just a guided ride - tips were a huge bonus!). Showed us some really fun trails in the Alice Lake region, many that he designed and built himself. Highly recommended, good dude. Video is James sending a huge slab (this one was a little too sketch for me, but it was super fun to watch!)

Super solid crew, from initial contact to the awesome guided tour by Jade, this was the perfect experience. Absolutely loved ability to pay online, everything was timed perfectly, and the guided ride itself was one of the most memorable rides we've experienced in Squamish. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars, because I would.

My buddy Jo and I rode with Jeremy on our first ride in Squamish. Although it was rainy and gloomy that day, Jeremy’s spirit and the trails he showed us certainly uplifted our experience! Many thanks to James, who went out of his way to make the rest of our trip comfortable. I’d definitely recommend these guys for your Squamish biking adventure!

James was super cool to ride with, he’s really skilled and clearly knows the area like the back of his hand, feels more like riding with a friend than riding with an instructor or guide. He showed us some perfect trails and even gave us guidance to things to do after we finished riding. Will be back

Whilst on holiday to BC. A friend and I got a guided ride with Ollie and it was worth every cent. Super knowledgeable on the trails and gave great tips on how best to get down them with control. He also made them look effortless when demoing the trails

I signed up for a 1/2 day ride/lesson with Ollie as my instructor and all that I can say is wow, what a great experience. His teaching/coaching style is fantastic and we did it all while hitting a bunch of great trails. Ollie did a great job of safely nudging me out of my comfort zone allowing me to apply new skills. The whole experience really exceeded my expectations and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Did a lesson yesterday with James. It was so cool to create some real building blocks in my riding skills and be able to get out there with a lot more confidence! Stoked to ride with the RideBC crew again soon.

Il s’agissait de ma première expérience en vélo de montagne et définitivement, RIDE BC m’a permis de développer un fort intérêt pour ce sport. James a été un guide formidable! Professionnel et très sympathique, il a su me mettre en confiance et adapter l’activité à mon niveau et aux conditions météo. Il connaît parfaitement les pistes et les plus beaux endroits où pratiquer ce fabuleux sport duquel il est passionné.
Je recommande fortement cette activité avec RIDE BC lors de votre prochaine visite à Squamish!

We found James via his ride BC Instagram page. He was a top bloke and provided the best guided ride for all of our abilities on the day and on wicked bikes! Can’t wait to come back to Squamish for another epic ride.
