RIF Moving Company Burnaby

The whole debacle was a joke. They didn't know how to load the truck properly. They sat around talking or playing on their phone constantly. When I called to try to speak to someone in charge I was yelled at by the owner. 5 minutes later, he called me back to yell some more.

This was a medium-sized in-town move of a 2-bedroom place. I provided the details on how many stairs and the number of items and the owner screamed that I misled them. I didn't. Everything was described accurately.

During the unload we discovered that a mirror had been broken. Days later we discovered that the hydraulics on an office chair no longer worked. They were so slow that I was outpacing them and hauling things because I was embarrassed for them. And these were young guys, it's not like they were broken down old men. Just lazy.

One of the swampers also yelled at my partner when she asked if they could stop sitting around all the time. The whole thing was laughable and nobody should use this company. It cost more than expected for a subpar service and you should go with anyone else.

Magdi and his staff were so communicative, professional, and provided the utmost amazing service for our business needs for CHFA West. Magdi accommodated ALL of my requests to the fullest in such a prompt manner that I have never seen from any other business.

There were no hidden fees and provided us with a great deal for the multiple moves we required.

RIF Moving took the stress out of moving! There were some scheduling conflicts with booking the two elevators from the building I was moving out of to the one I was moving into that left me with a very small window of time to actually move. Magdi was always available by phone or text so I could communicate what was going on. He was very accommodating to the constant scheduling changes and also offered suggestions.

On the day of the move, they arrived early with a huge, clean truck. They were efficient, quick and friendly and positive throughout the whole process. Most importantly, they got everything done on time and way more affordable than most of the other moving companies I researched.

Overall I highly recommend RIF moving.great service, great price, great people!
