River Sushi

Went to this place the other day when I first went in the atmosphere was okay it was not a bad vibe. The service was not to bad the lady was really sweet! And the food was pretty decent for the price. I would definitely come back in the future

We order from here about once every 2 weeks. Our fav sushi in the area. Consistent and easy

Food is good, however, terrible service. We ordered a bento box and a nigiri bento box for myself. As we were eating, I saw a hair strand on top of my food and told the server right away. I asked them to re-do it and they quickly changed it. And from there we were expecting a good service as a first timer in that sushi place. However, when we got our bill they still charge us that meal. We have expected a better service more than that. As 2 people working in the restaurant industry, we were surprised that the meal with a hair strand was on the bill and asked them politely about it, and the reason of the server was “you have asked us to re-do it, and we did.you still pay for the meal” And too, dragon roll tasted old and some odd taste in it. They gave us 10% off discount the whole bill anyways, still not recommended.

Le meilleur sushi de la ville! On a commandé 2 plats ma femme et moi et on en a redemandé tellement c'était délicieux. Service rapide et qualité au rendez-vous. Vous n'allez pas le regretter!

An absolute value for the taste and price. Bonus points for being extremely quick for this hungry stomach here. Get the all day special - 3 items of your choice + miso soup.

100% would order again. I would not sleep on this place for those who who are curious.

I remember this being called Ro Sushi, and it's just as good as it ever was. Good quality, fair price, quick service.

One of my favorite sushi places in town. I just don’t give 5 stars because it says they close at 9: 30pm, but if you show up 9 o’clock they don't welcome you and even close the door in your face saying they are already closed…
Well, it would be better to advertise they close at 9pm

Casual informal sushi place on a street of restaurants. Three of us were there. Bill was $65 for three full meals. Good value. Fresh. Will be back.

Cheap, no frills sushi. Good combos and build-your-own combos if you are feeling indecisive. Great for a quick lunch if you work in the area.

Reasonably priced. Rice tastes a little bit strange and weird texture but I guess it makes sense for the price.

Always empty, little spooky to eat there all by yourself, even during peak lunch hours. Sushi California and Dragon Sushi nearby have way more customers and a warmer atmosphere

Food was good. Cooks and kitchen staff are awesome people, but the waitress, the young lady, is rude! Not helping, not welcoming, throwing the plates and dishes in front of you at the table! Unbelievable! Just please notice that not all the waitresses at Sushi River are like that. As a matter of fact there is this lady once we went there dor lunch, she is so kind and warm an helpful.she always has a big smile and ready to explain any item on the plain text-only menu. But this young lady at dinner time!

Yummy food and very quick friendly service. Prices are very reasonable and there were a lot of choices on the menu.

Ordered takeout for delivery. Too much rice on every single roll, the mushroom roll was completely slapped together. There was a ton of sauce on everything, absolutely disappointed in almost every single roll we received.

Reliable quality, no frills sushi. I always get their salmon sashimi and salmon maki roll. I can always count on them to make a hard night a little better with their awesome food.

My favorite sushi place in Vancouver. They have amazing vegetarian sushi options like starburst, MDMA, and my all time favorite avocado crunchy roll. I have easily ordered from them more than 10 times

I ordered off Doordash, and the food delivering packaging wasn’t sealed. Absolutely unacceptable and unsafe. The fish also didn’t seem fresh; lots of brown spots and everything else didn’t look appetizing. Of course we didn’t eat anything. Doordash offered a full refund and some credits. Terrible experience

Really enjoyed the food here, it tastes fresh and there is so much flavour in the noodles as well.

Ordered of DoorDash, ordered the regular miso soup, was delivered seafood miso soup and I’m vegetarian.
The tempura yam fries were not cooked, was like biting into a raw yam.
The Shitaki nigri was not together at all, it was a piece of rice with the shitake all over the box.
I also ordered a cucumber vegetable roll and it was completely apart in the box, looked more like a deconstructed salad.
Could not eat anything I was delivered. Very poor service and will not be ordering here again.
Thankfully DoorDash was awesome and credited me my order but wanted to warn to others the poor service and disgusting presentation you get when ordering here.

Ordered food through them on door dash spent $60. Food was cold, small portions, I ordered agedashi tofu for $5.95, I got 5 pieces, not even enough to fill the container. The aburi nigri sushi that I ordered 6 pieces was Burnt - I paid over $3 for each piece.save your money and avoid. Would not order again.

A sufficient portion, beautifully plated, and very, very tasty.

Absolutely one of the best Sushi restaurants in the area, if not in all of Vancouver!
Everything was fresh & so delicious, very well prepared, and they were super conscious about the food allergies that I mentioned in my order notes.

Great service, great food! The teriyaki sauce was so good! The sashimi was the perfect cool temperature you want. The bento boxes come with a lot of food and their rolls are well done (no sloppiness to them whatsoever)

Tasty sushi, lots of food for the price when you order a combo. Salmon sashimi has a great texture and tastes fresh. The rolls are good and don't skimp on fillings. My partner, who is a spicy food fan, approves of the way that they do spicy Salmon. Good local sushi place I'll be coming back to.

Must try Tempura avocado and some special chef menu.good service, fresh sashimi, organized take away and eat in.
