Rivers Animal Hospital

We are very pleased with the service given to us and our dog. We were scheduled in right away and our dog was finished that day with tooth extraction surgery. The dr was very thorough with details of surgery and we were given specific instructions for home care. Their quick response to getting us in probably saved our dog from further pain or infection.

The best animal hospital in Fort St John. We had an issue with an elderly cat. We were able to bring our cat in quickly. Justin and staff are amazing. Very professional.

My two senior dachshunds went to Rivers for dental cleaning and extractions. The staff treated us with nothing but professionalism and kindness. Special thanks to Kiera and Hailey. They called to follow up on how Smokey and Zoë were doing couple days after the surgery. Also their price is very reasonable. Highly recommend if anyone’s looking for a good veterinary clinic.

We live 4 hours away and they squeezed us in on an emergency. They were so great and patient with my little dog who was very nervous and by the end my pup didn't want to leave and her tail was wagging!
The staff was great and answered all of my questions and are going above and beyond by sending away results to a specialist to make sure everything is A-OK with my girl.

Asked about putting down costs of my dieing dog and was told because he has never gone there to go to a vet he has seen. Well none of my animals will ever go there again that's for sure, thanks for the compassion and support, you made a sad, painful situation even more stressful

Went in with my dog, as she was experiencing heart pain. Was told she was perfectly fine after around $1000 of bills. She passed 3 days later.

My Zelda was having some trouble with her teeth. I didn’t realize it at first, but then when I came home from vacation, she had lost one of her canines (funny enough). I brought her in and got her checked out by the vet who was in the following day and she needed surgery on her mouth to get some teeth pulled. They made sure I knew they would contact me if the charges were going to change and did manage to make the estimate accurate! It’s been a couple weeks now and my baby is back to her loving, beautiful self. Even more cuddly than before!

The helped my old boy for years taking care of his needs right to the very end. Thanks for coming to my house, and letting me and my family say good bye. Our vet for 15.5 years. Lack of proper treatment, diagnosis, and truthfulness as lead me to lose all trust in this vet clinic. To see my beloved dog suffer in pain after so many visits for treatment forced my decision to see another vet that informed us of grim news on the health of our fur baby. (Olivia, our female Maltese dog passed away October 29,2020) Outside appearance is not what you require in a vet. Genuine care, concern, and love of the animal patient and human parents are what matters. At one time this vet was a good vet. Things have changed dramatically. May God lead you elsewhere for the care of your family member.

Very fast, attentive and professional. Tattoo and castration surgery for my cats went well and i have no concerns

This company has provided good service and care for my animals. They are human aswell as willing to treat each animal as it's own entity. Not just a process
