If you care about atmosphere, this isn’t your spot. But if you can embrace the 80’s diner, the food and service was amazing. Probably the best eggs Benny I’ve ever had.

The food and the service was amazing. Ambience was also good. Ordered Turkey Clubhouse Sandwich with Soup of the day (Tomato, chicken and macroni) and Farmers breakfast with French Toast and Sourdough Bread. Also got Hot Chocolate and Coffee for the Table. It was so fulfilling that we almost couldn't walk back home. Loved it. Surely recommended!

If you like SUPER fast service, homemade quality and amazing taste then this is the place to be! Decor and ambiance are not much, but, personally that's not why we go out to eat! Not a single complaint about any of their food and the service is lightening fast! Friendly sweet servers as well! We travel from Langley to Abby every Saturday for brekkie, that's how much we love their food! We've even doubled back for lunch a couple of times as well! Best veggie burgers around! Highly recommend!

A perfect old fashioned coffee shop that won't break the bank. I had a Half Order of corned beef hash and filled a 10" dinner plate! Good value and the most wonderful service from several seasoned serving pro's. These ladies are sweet and know the secret to great customer service. I would return just to visit them! This is my second favourite place for corned beef hash. (First is Mission Horse Brunch in Mission BC). Lots of free parking.

Get this, I came here to take my 93 year old grandma to lunch and was allowed in after debating with the hostess for several minutes that I should be allowed to dine in. I crossed an international border to take my grandma to breakfast, check marking all of the boxes for Canadian Federal Agents, and was told that the sign on their door that they accept vaccination cards was not accurate and they ONLY accept BC issued Vaccine passports, meaning that no outside BC residents can eat here (vaccinated or not). So, an entry level hostess has more authority than a Canadian Border and Customs agent. Yeah right! I gave them 2 stars because they eventually let me dine in, but I was humiliated and so was my grandma. The food was below average. We will not be returning and my grandma told all of the residents where she lives, to not return. They should take those signs down if they're not going to follow what is posted by their own staff.

Best breakfast in Abbotsford. I had ‘The Farmers Breakfast’. Ham, sausage and bacon all of high quality. The potatoes and eggs were wonderful. Great coffee and welcoming service. Enjoy

Great breakfast place. One time the breakfast pan fries were a little undercooked, but generally food is fantastic.

Reasonable priced and delicious brunch spot! The food arrived quickly even though it was a busy new years morning peak hour.

The food was OK not as good as the Rivers the was on the by pass on Livingstone. Very slow service.

The food is always very good. Unfortunately, throughout much of 2020, food servers have not worn masks, unlike the vast majority of restaurants. One would hope that restaurant management would want to make sure that their staff and customers were as safe as possible in the midst of a global pandemic. Rivers Restaurant chose not to do that. So, I have decided to go elsewhere. I will spend my money in restaurants where it is clear that management care about their staff and customers and where they have been willing to go beyond what is required in order to create as safe a space as possible.

I’m happy this place moved to a better location. They are right near the freeway now and it reminds me that they are there.
I’ve enjoyed the food and the time spent there. It’s like the places I grew up visiting with my dad.

Please improve COVID protocols. Wait staff made no obvious effort to keep distance from customers and weren't wearing face covers. There's only one entrance in and out and no monitoring of traffic flow. Would not visit again until safer measures in place.

Good clean breakfast. Not the cheapest in town. But not the most expensive either. Fast friendly service.

Simple easy atmosphere, good food, attentive service. Reminds us of a family friendly small town diner. We recommend it.

Their washroom has something to be desired, simply put, gross.

Phenomenal service, food, gluten free options (especially waffles), and cozy at home feel! If make this my regular spot if I lived nearby!

Super friendly staff, open and comfortable sitting space, and the food was very nice. Great prices and an actual selection of hot sauces were huge bonuses for my own preferences.

Excellent service, very friendly, comfort food menu. Clean and tidy, if a bit dated which has its charm. Food was excellent; my omelette was perfectly cooked and loaded with veggies. My wife’s shepherds pie looked savoury and loaded as well (tho she said it was quite salty). Our experience was still very positive! We will be back!

I came near closing time yesterday and they still served me without seeming annoyed. That in itself is worth this review.

Breakfast was really great. Everything was perfect. The fruit cup was fresh and nicely layered instead of all mixed together. Staff were very accommodating. Excellent!

This is probably one the best little cafe's I've eaten at in years. Portion for price is very good and the quality is top shelf home style cooking.
The ladies on staff are all personable and make you feel so welcome.

I went to rivers about 3 weeks ago The portions were great, their prices are very reasonable, I left full it was reasonably priced what more could I ask for?

Its was alright. Was given my bill before I was even done eating. No worries didnt want to order dessert or anything. Felt rushed even though it was 11am and it wasnt busy.

It's more of a truck like stop place to eat. Nothing fancy. Had a couple times where fruit was bad And some of the meat at times we went here was gamey. Think it's more to do with the cook. Friendly atmosphere though.

Holy cow this place was good. The pancakes are phenomenal and the bacon is real amazing. Will definitely become my goto breakfast joint over the nearby chains. Good stuff.

Very average food. Pretty greasy. Slow and poor service. My sausage came out cold. By the time I got it heated up I had eaten the rest of my meal already. Server never came back to refill our waters. Pretty cheap so it’s good enough if you just need some food in you and want something a little more than fast food.

We had breakfast here today for the first time and will definitely come back. Great Home cooked food, great prices and excellent service

This is actually called Rivers restaurant now, they moved from their old location to the old Vics diner. Great food and service, small town feeling, has become our new favorite restaurant. Don't have liquor license yet but is coming.

You know it's a good bang for your buck when the tables are full of seniors. Enjoyed a good homestyle meal. Friendly staff. Best music station you can get. Sola Deo Gloria.
