Best store in town for workwear Courteous staff, wide variety of Fire replant, safety shoes, work wear pants, High visibility garments from Top Brands like Carhatt, HH, Timberland to name a few.

The staff here were wonderful. I made a point of coming in after reading the negative reviews, and mentioned that to them. Just charming people to deal with, the prices were decent. I noticed a lot of made in America carhartt jackets at decent prices, as well as my favourite the Mexican made (had a blanket lined chore coat catch and choke up an industrial grinder from going through my guts a few years ago). I think a lot of the negative reviews regarding returns are coming from people who are use to dealing with chain stores that can absorb losses without resell worries. Definitely need women's workwear (HiVis/FR). They have only the tiniest little rack for women. It's extremely disappointing.

What a crazy selection they have of Carhartt workwear, I was there 20 minutes and spent over 4500$. If your looking for stock this is your store!

The best place in town to buy Carhart. Staff are very helpful and will do what they can to get you what you need. Great selection of women's work boots and work wear. I like that they are a local business, not part of a big chain, and give you the personal service of a family operated business. Added bonus, their prices are better than anyone else's.

Very Helpful. Younger (new) staff, keen on helping. A bit inexperienced with their stock and features (ie vest types, safety ratings), but if you know what you want, they'll find it!
Definitely the best inventory I've seen in these here parts.

Very poor manners by managers. I have spent more than 2000 dollars there and they treat me like an inconvenience. My wife bought an electric vest for her son working in the mine, with the agreement she could bring it back if he didnt want it. It was never warn, tags still on. They said it smelled like ciggerette smoke as an excuse. Very rude as well. Never shop there again.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a good customer service experience here.
I called a couple months ago looking for cowboy boots w/ steel toes and the guy honestly told me he didn’t know what they were, I asked him to ask a coworker.he said he did and they didn’t know what cowboy boots were either.
They do carry them, btw.

Cmon. It’s a small store, they’re quite keen on keeping customers happy, and I find the staff to be doing the best they can. I live out of town (120km away) and they’ve bent over backwards to try and keep my support. I cannot stress enough about how kind and hard working the staff is. Thanks guys for all your help and keep up the good work!

I bought a pair of merrell steel toed boots and after a few months the strength if the boot became sloppy.i went today to do the warranty claim and the attendant said boots only last 3 months, then why is there a 6 month warranty?
i have had boots before that lasted 2 years. VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THE SERVICE! Phoning the merrell company to complain about their product and the warranty the store offered when i purchased the boots.

The manager is very unprofessional and defensive. My husband needed proof of purchase for steel toes he bought there. When he called in the inquire, he was told there was nothing they could do and was hung up on. The next day we went in to see if there was anything they could do and she was very defensive from the start and was not open to feedback.

As a small, family owned business, I understand that they have limitations, but they rely on local customers and are not accommodating at all.

River's, it's 2020, invest in a point of sales system.

The manager is not willing to work with you at all. All I wanted was to replace a lost recite and wouldn't help at all. I will be going to marks from now on. Or amazon.

Update, went in person the next day to give them another chance, perhaps a miscommunication. And no the manager (same one I talked to) refused to help in anyway siting " I have no way to track sales. All I have is an old till. " Which to me is very unprofessional. How do you do your taxes ma'am? If you have no way of tracking sales why did I bother signing a PST exption? For a pair of boots that don't exist.

Shame, I love the employees at this store they are wonderful. Too bad the management is so poor. May explained the turnover. You have lost a long time costumer.

P.s miss manager I know you read these, perhaps you should give feed back. Social media is powerful.

I bought a pair of Keen workbooks from here, and 3 months later 2 of the lace hooks broke off, rendering the boots useless. I went to the store and they were completely unhelpful and unwilling to help. They believe that 3 months is an acceptable life span for a $240 pair of boots. I guess I should have bought online instead of supporting local.

Excellent selection of women's Carhartt clothing in a range of sizes. Prices are 10-20% cheaper than I have seen elsewhere. Staff are always warm and friendly without being in your face.

Someone in the store refused to help my boyfriend because he was asking too many questions and that was "rude". Absolutely Ridiculous. Need better customer service.

Very disappointed with the customer service. My husband bought a pair keen work boots that were faulty. Never used or worn them outside. The manager of Rivers workwear refused exchange. Staff were very unprofessional. Will never shop here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Best prices in town for carrhart and the customer service is great! They always do a great job helping customers find sizes, colors, patterns etc if looking for something specific.

Staff were not very helpfull and then when I went to pay there was no one there to pay opened door twice to alert staff still no one came so my daughter yelled is there anyone to help us. And then they came. Prices were good

Really friendly amazing staff willing to help and inform. Very competitive pricing and quality is through the roof! Definitley my new favourite place to get workclothes or just clothes in general. The stock they have consist of great styles and did I mention the pricing is amazing! Highly recommended!
