Riverside Motel

There is nothing like having your bathroom sink in the bedroom next to the microwave, coffee maker, and blowdryer. (The coffee maker and microwave would short out) Wrong electrical plug to have next to water. Table and chairs in front of t.v.
The bed was hard, and the air conditioner was loud. Don't stay here.

I would not say this is a 5 star hotel but it was perfect for a quick overnight. The pool looked inviting but the weather wasn’t as hot as I had hoped

If this is the same motel as Days in the stay was great. We had clean rooms clean towels what else do you need. All the coffee you want.

Worst customer service ever ~ unexpected extreme family emergency prevented us from our trip less than 18 hours after booking they tell us “ too bad” and only honour cancellations outside of 7 days notice (we didn’t even have 7 days until the trip) there was no clear indication of this before confirming the reservation and I find that to be extremely unfair and off putting that they don’t honour emergency circumstances.

Older but excellent condition and clean! Perfect location, good family atmosphere, rooms with kitchens and every small detail necessary to make trip smooth right down to an ice machine by the pool, very well operated

The owner runs this motel and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Our room was spacious (the size of most Vancouver apartments). Very comfortable beds, extremely clean, full kitchen, nice bathroom. Great view of the mountains. A couple of tiny things that we asked about were dealt with immediately. This motel is older but very well kept.

The owner does not have a policy based attitude like most places these days and he was more focussed on the best interests of us as guests.

Great location as well. 1 1/2 blocks to the river and the beach.

I booked less then 12hrs ago made a error on my dates and the owner refused to refund my full amount, i know policies are in place 7days before booking but in this case its crazy to not refund someone over a mistake.
Not kind at all. As a buisness owner myself i would have refunded the client the full amount.will never stay here and will share this story. Fyi i never have left a bad review in my life first time and this one is deserved.

This place is great. The room was comfy and clean, it had a well stocked kitchen, and the staff were friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

It's an awesome place to stay in! Very convenient location, plenty of parking spots! Very well maintained rooms with AC! Heated swimming pool, free wifi, barbecue and others. Love it very much!

Perfect location, 2 minute walk to the beach. The rooms look like they are well taken care of, you can tell they have been putting work into the motel, nice tile in the shower, hard wood floor and freshly painted exterior of building.
Kitchenette had everything you need, plates, frying pan, coffee machine etc etc.
My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights, I would definitely stay again, if your looking for an average affordable place to stay, this is your place.

Nick and his family were very welcoming and friendly! Clean rooms and amazing pool! Highly recommend

This place is situated smack dab between the beach and the canel. 5 minutes from a float to Skaha or to Lake Okanagan. It is very clean and run by a lovely family. It's an older style motel.

Riverside Motel is the greatest place I've ever been to, the service is always so nice, the owner is very welcoming, and above all the people are what makes Riverside. I've been there every year and I can say that the Motel is a 5/5. We all are a little community here, and that's what make's it a great place.

Very clean, lovely staff, great location and Nick goes the extra mile to make you comfortable infact they all do!

Charged 250 to my credit card cause they thought i took the blanket from the bed and when i called the east indian fellow who runs it was disrespectful and rude n wasnt will to look into it to make sure it was the right room.joke scam artists

I have stayed at the Riverside 4 times over the years and always found it great for the older style of motel it is. However this last time in July 2018, I was left with a very sour experience with this motel and no longer can recommend it. In fact I would advise to find alternate accommodations.
After I checked my visa, I found a $75 charge they had charged to me. On inquiry I was told
"rooms left at unexceptable (sic) stage.we would not take a booking again for your group, you would be more comfortable at another property. "
Riverside".
We disputed this but they said there were food crumbs on the floor. As they didn't provide a broom or vacuum what was one to do? We had emptied all the garbage, wiped the fridge and stove, and all dishes put away.
I think this was just a simple cash grab. Stay ther eonly if you bring your own cleaning supplies!
