Riverway Golf Course & Driving Range

Best wet weather course around. Period. Great condition every seaon. Driving in wet conditions? Fairways only! Nothing bad to say other than it's hard to get a tee time. That should tell you it's a great course. Best course at getting singles out though.

It would be a 5 star review if their new booking system was any better than the previous one. It’s impossible to get a tee time here, even when you’re booking weekday’s. I’ve had multiple people trying to book a tee time at the same time and none of us are successful. It’s really not a fair system and they need to do something to fix this! Calling in is also pointless!

Very good driving range, the fairway of the course is very smooth, greens are also well prepped and quiet fast in my opinion. Green fees are affordable and definitely worth the money

Like many who normally play public courses, this is one of the best draining layouts in the Lower Mainland and one of the only courses which play grass tees year round. The greens are immaculate and right off from the first hole, the greens are level and give good speed. The holes are laid out well and groups are separated by the dunes between each fairway for a pleasant 18 hole loop. The course is walkable but some holes do have some elevations.

Riverway plays 4 sets of tees. The driving range is 2 level and I have never seen it so full that you could not get a stall. The restaurant has been closed for a few seasons now likely from the pandemic but there is a small coffee shop at the turn.

Staff are very friendly and unless you love playing 5 hour rounds, keep up with the group ahead or your group will have some "friendly words of encouragement" from the course Marshalls

The course is popular year round and getting a good tee time requires some dedication to booking activities.

The course is great. So great that I called 210 times between 12 and 12: 30 to get a tee time and could not get through. There needs to be a better way

One of my top courses I enjoy playing the most. Great layout for the holes plus a nice driving range. The course is susceptible to wind sometimes making you really work on course management skills. Highly recommended the course to anyone and all skill levels.

This is a very beautiful public course with a very good value for money. The course is well maintained. The restaurant in the clubhouse is spacious and clean. The only drawback is that the parking space is very tight.

Riverway is an excellent golf course in Burnaby, BC, Canada. It’s an amazing course with challenging and picturesque holes. They have a covered range and a neat little short game area. I didn’t take too many pictures of the course except for a couple of Sandhill cranes. Nature is wonderful and Riverway has lots of that.

Awesome golf course in my backyard. Hard to book a tee-time though but to be expected for a great public course.

We Played golf with 4 friend.
Fairway & on the green condition is good.
Green fee is $35.00 for senior.

It lean staff is ok seems as though there might be a few between some of them as it spoiled over into the way the staff treat the customers gears cold foods meh

On a rainy Saturday the parking lot is full, we are supposed to be in Winter but the enthusiastic golfers are still out on the course or at the Driving Range.

This is a very comfortable course well run by the City of Burnaby, green fees are reasonable but frustrating as you have to do it on line.

Parking lot is full by 11am, would be nice if people carpool as people then park illegally everywhere and no one monitors these Parker’s.

Had my range finder stolen after I forgot it on the cart. Golf course 4.5, clientele 1. Most golfers would turn it in if found. I found a cell phone and two wedges in the three times I've golfed there. Didn't even think of keeping them.
