Rob is truly exceptional and it was evident from the first introductory conversation I had with him over a phone call, he makes you feel like your needs are first priority.

The story begins with a phone call, and will eventually conclude with an in-person meeting and a handshake, though not until several days after all is said and done, a purchase made, keys in hand, and boxes already unpacked settled in our new “dream” home.

Yes, you read correctly. My wife and I did not have the opportunity to meet Rob in person before choosing him as our Realtor, but more than that, the entire purchasing process from offer to close was conducted remotely either over the phone or via email. However, as a testament to Rob”s character and ability to quell any worries, having never met in person did nothing to make us second guess our decision with whom we would be trusting to do whatever necessary to get us our home. Knowing Rob was doing all possible was evident in the sincerity of tone in phone conversations and emails.

Rob will work with you to do all possible to make the experience as smooth as possible regardless of the complexity or unique situation you are in. We were never able to see our home in person before making an offer. We knew little regarding the neighborhood or even the surrounding area. However, Rob immediately became our eyes and ears and wasted no time requesting a viewing of the home. His level of knowledge regarding the market including even where to go for a nice craft brew once we were settled was impressive, answering all questions and giving us a good sense of the area without physically being there was truly appreciated.

To add to Rob's level of commitment please allow me to share another example. We could not close before Rob and his family took a well deserved vacation and though Rob made sure we were in good hands before he left, introducing us to his assistant, Rob would not even give my anxiety a chance to rise up. Even while on vacation, several time zones away, he was touching base, reaching out in his cool, calm mindset to reassure everything that needed to be done before closing would be taken care of… thank you Rob you proved yourself time and again you go above and beyond!

If you’re considering Central Vancouver Island, you need to use Rob as your realtor! My wife and I were leaving our North
Vancouver home of 30 years to be closer to our family and enjoy Island life. We needed to find the perfect home and we

wanted back then, including walk on waterfront and a boat dock. We ended up a full 180 from that plan, with nary a dock in
sight, but Rob worked tirelessly to find us whatever information we needed as our plan shifted along the way. When we
finally found "the one", there were some details on title that really concerned us which we needed to be completely sure
about before we committed to the purchase. Rob got me and my like-minded lawyer a meeting with Nanaimo's Head of
Planning to make sure we heard things straight from him and were fully satisfied.

Rob knows our high standards, and recommended the perfect fit of a realtor he knew and trusted to ensure the sale of our
North Vancouver home went seamlessly in conjunction with our Nanaimo purchase. He has fantastic connections and
provided trusted recommendations on everyone from arborists to inspectors to moving companies that we have definitely
put to good use. His extra help with local people has been invaluable in lining up services for us.

All in all, I cannot recommend Rob highly enough. He's been the consummate professional throughout the entire process.

In 2017 Rob helped my family find a condominium in Nanaimo for our son to live in while going to VIU.

It is now 2023 and our son has graduated and moved on to a teaching career. We no longer needed the condo and turned to Rob again, this time to help us with the sale.

Overall, our sale was a very positive experience for us with Rob guiding us through all kinds of loops and hurdles. Prior to listing, Rob had done his homework with other realtors and we received two offers on or above the asking price on the day the property was listed. Although we accepted one of the offers, both fell through and Rob led us through the process of obtaining a penalty award.

A couple of weeks and many showings later, we received a new offer and negotiated an amount close to our original asking price.

Our closing date was quite quick and Rob helped us work through closing the deal which included using an out of province lawyer.

In a fast-paced market, this guy went the extra mile to get us into a listing that I saw just literally hours before offers were to be accepted. This guy lined up a house inspection and septic inspection very quickly. This guy gave guidance in regards to offers and made the paperwork simple and easy. This guy understood when we decided to back out. THEN this guy answered the phone the next morning when we said we changed our minds. He quickly made the deal happen before the property was shown to any other potential buyers.
