I contacted Martin by recommendation to work with my late husband’s estate. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable. We just had our wills and POA done and had a great experience with Martin Sanderson at Robson O'Connor. He was very thorough and professional and easy to deal with. We were very happy with the whole process. We highly recommend them for your legal matters.

I sold a piece of property and met with O'Connor. I did the sale without a realtor including the offer and acceptance. I was asked to sign to a document payable amount to me that was $10,000 less.
I showed them the errors to this. The numbers were argued by them. It was mathematical dispute to the truth. I am 69 years old. Until I emphatically disputed this: "i am not going to sign this. The payment was finally agreed upon. I was promised by Oconnor that the money would be deposited the next day. It did not happen. I contacted their office that I would take the cheque to my bank and pick up the cheque at their office first thing the morning. ($260.000) Their office was closed. Yes, I did finally receive my money. I have other legal matters including new real estate purchases. Not here!

Over the last 3 years we have needed legal advice a few times and believe we are privileged to have the highly skilled Martin Sanderson right here in Ladysmith. Before moving to Ladysmith we dealt with several lawyers in Victoria for real estate, business, wills and concerns related to our disabled son. We had mixed results.some were good and some not so good at all. We look for knowledge, attentive listening, and especially the ability to understand the relevant laws for our situation and focus our efforts to develop a solid personalized plan.
