Extremely poor customer service with rude staff. Would not recommend it at all, the Central City location is significantly better! Don't waste your time at the Semiahmoo Location.

Went hear to get a price on a 10 k chain wanted 100 grams in weight. The price hear was $ 2200 dollers higher than the 2 others I got a price from. They all came from the same book and supplier. This store is out to empty your wallet would recommend you get a second price before using this business.

Wow just wow. Pristine watch brought in for a battery. Female associate checks with what I now learn is the store ‘owner’ in the back room. She comes back to me and says yes, we can do it come back in ten minutes. On this day I am wearing a ball cap and not all boujie. This comes into my next point. So, I return shortly and the watch in two screw points in the back is scratched in a curve clearly when they were twisting the back as the whole back plate comes off. The female gives me the watch to pay but this owner is standing in the showcase nearby as if they know I may catch this. I inspect and see the scratches. The owner CLEARY hears my concerns I express to the female. He acts like he doesn’t however, when he is called over. Meanwhile a new customer comes in and she just bails on me before the owner is even handed off and comes over. This owner has his hands folded calling me maam as if he doesn’t know but, he knows and he’s the one, I have all reason to believe performed the change, as it was just two of them there the whole time. He says “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Oh seriously that’s what you say!? This isn't a feeling it’s a fact. Just own it! If he had owned it and apologized it would have made a huge difference. The. He says what do you want me to do? (Condescendingly) wow, ok, for starters you shouldn’t charge me and he looks at me like I’m not his ‘type’ of spender little does he know, and says ok ma’am fine I see what you want! Wow, just wow. Use caution folks.

My first purchase from Rochell’s was about 15 years ago. Over the years I’ve purchased a cocktail ring, several diamond rings, and more recently a series of smaller bracelets. The diamonds were purchased after 35 years of marriage b/c money was tight when we first got married. I began buying the bracelets a year or two ago as small rewards for academic milestones achieved. Amin, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is consistently professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. I’ve never regretted any purchase nor had anything but positive interaction with Amin or any of the staff.

I bought a gold bangle as an anniversary gift for my wife. The bangle was beautiful and very competitively priced. Unfortunately the bangle turned out to be a little tight on my wife’s wrist. We took the bangle back to the jeweller and they agreed she need it to be made larger. We received a phone call with an estimate of $300 for the modification of the bangle. I approved the estimate and asked if I should bring in the bangle and the owner said no keep it and we’ll call you when we’re ready. Some months later I was informed that the “new” bangle was in the store and I could pick it up. I picked up the new bangle and returned the original bangle on a straight exchange. Later that day I got a call from the store saying they made a mistake and I owed $300 for the larger bangle. I protested to the owner that I believed they were going to modify my wife’s existing piece and the estimate seemed reasonable. But for an exchanged new item the price seemed outrageous. The owner would not budge on his position and his attitude was very rude and threatening. I paid the $300 but I would never go back to do business with this shop and especially the owner ever again. This is a classic case of buyer beware.
