Rocky Point Kayak

It was our first time at rocky point kayak and we had so much fun. Staff is very helpful and renting is a fairly easy process. Their equipment is in shape. This place is reasonably priced and their customer service is excellent. We got lucky and we saw orcas too. The staff is very friendly and prioritize safety.

The Kayaks were in good condition, were clean and well fitted. Staff was friendly and helpful (helped us carry the craft and get us in and out of the water). They gave us hints on where to go and what to see in the short time that we had on the water. All in all a good experience.

Amazing way to explore Rocky Point. The staffs are wonderful. The tides were high when we visited. The staffs gave us the option to come back and reschedule if needed. Luckily we could manage kayaking and wow what a wonderful time we had also were lucky to spot some seals.

My wife and I signed up for Kayak lesson for beginners. We had a delightful experience. Kaya, our instructor was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely patient with us. Our group was wonderful as well. We really enjoyed our lesson. We feel very confident about renting kayaks and going out by ourselves in the future. Thank you again to the team at Rocky Point Kayak.

What a great way to explore Rocky Point and Port Moody from the water. The staff were helpful is getting us ready to hit the water. Relaxing activity but still gave us a good work out. We even saw some seals popping up as we kayak. Highly recommend Rocky Point Kayak.

Been here a few times for overnight kayak rentals. Great, knowledgable, and friendly staff, fair prices and very stable sea kayaks. Reserve ahead, they are popular. Always great to grab a beer and food truck goodies at the local breweries nearby after a paddle)

Good customer service, and the prices are very fair. Loved kayaking around here. Waters were not too rough when we went around early afternoon. Saw tons of birds, and a couple of seals.

Great place to kayak for first timers and beginners! The water is generally calm and I recommend going in the morning as there's much less boat traffic. Rocky Point Kayak has an easy-to-use online reservation system with payments and waivers. Staff present were very friendly and informative. They were also flexible with the two hour rental we pre-booked because we arrived at a busy time with a lot of people off loading and on boarding; they allowed us to start counting our two hours from the moment we entered the water. Overall a very fun and pleasant experience!

Great time, and super friendly and helpful staff. We had some issues regarding our prices switching from a double kayak to paddle boards and the gentleman there was awesome and patiently clarified everything for us.

Perfect way to get away from the heat, great location to go kayaking and paddle boarding. Bbq spots and picnic areas at the park.

Really good customer service whenever we have visited. A bit hard to find parking though, so arrive early and try to find a spot in the overflow parking lot nearby. Great views of the North Shore and local wildlife.

I took SUP paddling lesson & Kayaking level 2 courses. Excellent instructions, friendly and helpful staff, easy to register, very informative website, reasonable prices - definitely recommend this place. Thanks for making this a fun experience:)

We recently took a Level 1 - Introducing to sea kayaking with Rocky Point Kayak. We had a good time learning something new. It was a bit intimidating since this was our first time paddling but our instructor definitely put us at ease. Overall good service from Rocky Point Kayak. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!

Super friendly staff and I really appreciated the guy who took his time to review safety and proper usage of the kayaks.just a note - do not kayak or paddleboard on a very windy day, which we did.it turned to be very dangerous.heading back towards the shore was a struggle as we were kayaking against the current.it was also very gloomy.im surprised the kayak rental place didnt call it a day earlier as the weather condition wasn't optimal. FYI, double kayak was 57 dollars total including tax and booking fee

The staff here are really helpful and fair. I was here twice. The first time I book a kayak not knowing that you needed some course in order to kayak solo and they were able to find me a paddleboat instead so I could go into the water with my friends. The second time it was raining and they allowed me to cancel my reservation with no penalty due to the weather. The staff here also explain how to paddle if you're a first-timer and where to go.

We've been looking around at multiple kayak rental places but no one was able to accommodate due to the new online reservation systems and many weeks in advance already booked.

I called RPK and spoke to Colby who not only was able to find me a spot today for two people, but was able to reserve it without issue despite the fact they were fully booked for the day.

We showed up and the staff were super friendly and professional. The rental was very average priced at $20/hr, with a minimum 2 hr rental. The guide at the boat launch was great as he explained how things worked in the kayak for my sister.

The weather was amazing, the water wasn't that cold, and the current was calm if not seldom.

Overall, great job by everyone. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic staff, super nice and friendly. The water are really calm, tons of seals and jellyfish around. There are also fun stuff to do around once you're off the kayak (cute park, breweries). Highly recommended!

Excellent experience with all the Rocky Point Kayak staff. When we arrived, the office made changes to accommodate us and at the shore, the other team carried the kayaks down for us, gave safety tips, ideas as to where to go and launched us. They were also there to help us back on shore. I would recommend this to anyone as a lovely way to spend a few hours on the water.

Great staff and equipment to rent for a day on the water. Be sure to book online ahead of time to make sure you get out there with no worries. Even have kids size jackets if you have little ones.

Calm ocean water - great for beginners! There don't seem any jet skiers around that can stir up waves. I have tried many spots in the lower mainland and BC interior but this is the spot I get the most paddling with the best price too. The water is not so clean - it motivates you to not fall into it.

Best place to go paddle boarding, kayaking, or canoeing! A 5 minute paddle away from some friendly seals, and other neat wildlife like eagles and hawks chilling out on the log booms! If you do a day trip you can paddle up the Indian Arm towards deep cove or twin islands. Sweet views!

The staff and equipment were top notch. Great, speedy service with knowledgeable people, reliable kayaks, and a cool place to paddle about. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great experience renting a kayak here. The office staff were super friendly. The dock-side staff were friendly, helpful and hard working. In addition to all of this, the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely rent from here again.

I love kayaking and Rocky Point Kayak is one of the greatest places to rent a kayak. Staff are friendly and kayaks are good.
Prices are like other rental places not cheap and not expensive either.

Maybe overcrowded during the weekends. There is a lack of parking lots on the parking close to the park but you may find some room for your car if you go down the road towards Murray and Columbia street

Our family has rented kayaks several times from here in order to get a bit closer to the seals bathing on the floating piles of logs in the summer. The staff has always been helpful and professional and their instruction was clear and simple. The equipment is in great condition and the pricing is reasonable! I especially recommend this activity for families!

Did the Friday and Saturday Date Night kayak rental for my first time on a kayak. Had a lot of fun despite not being very comfortable in the actual kayak, probably due to me being tall. The water was nice to float around in and wasn't overly crowded or anything. It's a great area to spend your evening in! And had some ice cream from Rocky Point right after as well to top it all off.

The staff was helpful and everything went smoothly. Had an issue with my kayak that I was able to get fixed quickly. Very recommended especially if it's your first time trying out a kayak!
