Rockys Donair

I brought back donairs today for my family to Creston. I was very disappointed. I spent $80+ for 4 donairs and drinks. I gave a good tip because I thought it was going to be good like lots of times we have been in the past. I will never eat Rockys again! No sweet sauce like I love and only cabbage and very spicy onions. No tomatoes! That is so lazy and corrupt! I paid very big money and got very low quality wraps. Shame on you Rocky's!

Holy cow, never again! We were traveling through the area and decided to give Rocky's donair a shot. As the saying goes, you can tell a lot from first impressions. The restaurant was worn and very dated. I had to ask the employee, if they were even open. Still not detered, we placed our order. I went to the bathroom, while I waited for our food. The restroom looked worse than a gas station restroom and to top it off they had a roll of toilet paper to dry your hands with. When the food arrived, it was cold and tasted a little off. We then let them know that it didn't taste right and they started to get defensive about the freshness. They made no attempt to make things right, by offering a refund or making a different dish. We left with no food and no refund! Highly recommend you skip this place!

I came here with my family. We were passing through to get to our grandparents house. I was pleasently surprised, the food was actually really good, the service was really fast and at the time i dident know it but the owner Sal was the one Serving us. If your in the area check this place out.

Worst donair ever! Won't go again! Sorry to have to say this, but be aware. They filled the Donair with cabbage and way way too many onions. The beef was tough and way too little for the price. And they charged $18+ for medium donair, no cheese and a can pop. Way too much!

Pretty good donair but the wrap can be a little stale at times. Other than that pretty good.

The food was delicious and they serve large portions. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is they upped the price by $3 for each dish, relative to their posted menu, so for a family of four to eat it cost us $50. A small chicken donair was $16.50! In hindsight we’d have bought less food, so that would have helped, but the prices seems rather exorbitant.

Would have liked a better range of beverages, and to offer hot beverages. Food was fine for what it was.

AMAZING food, very nice owner. If I lived in cranbrook I’d be a regular customer for sure!

One of those little places that just had a nice friendly atmosphere, absolutely excellent food and a warm eager owner looking to share his obvious love of the food he makes.
The owner apologized for a limited choice due to no staff in that night (ergo overall 4 as not able to try other offerings) he immediately gave us some samples of his beef which were delicious. We ordered the beef donairs which he coupled with tasty stick fries that were on the house that night. Overall a definite stop for when you are in Cranbrook and next time we hope to try the many other menu items.

One of my favorite places to eat, The owner is personable, makes you feel like family, professional and an amazing cook! Love the food, Love the service!

Bought a large donair it was discussing large chunks of hard cabbage inside and it was cold. The price was changed by 3 dollars more and I was not notified about.didn't even know how to wrap a donair properly everything was falling out. Used too much sauce that made the bread soggy Ordered large the large donair and seemed like small. I would never recommend it to even my enemy. Is the owner even lebanese cause they know how to wrap a donair.

This place has the most amazing Greek salad and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great and fun. Definitely be back

The food is absolutely fantastic and has been since I started coming when it opened. The service is next to none and the crew makes us feel like family. I find myself constantly coming here to go, but I'm going to start staying for the experience. Love this place or deserves 10 stars

I've been coming here since the place opened, and it's hands down my favorite restaurant in town. The donairs are absolutely delicious, very well priced for the amount of food you get, and better than most donairs you'll find in big cities. Everything I've tried on the menu is amazing. The service is also exceptional. The staff treats you like family, and they are always very generous to friendly customers. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

We ordered a pizza donair. The donair was delicious but the dough tasted stale and old- definitely not made within the hour.

It's rare to get a take out or delivery meal that'll fill you up and not break the bank, but a large Donaire will satisfy the hungriest of people with the biggest appetite. All the guys that work here are great, and it's not uncommon to see the owner helping out in the kitchen. Fun fact: I've been calling him Rocky for years, and found out a few weeks ago that that's not his actual name lol

Truly the best lunch option on Hwy 3. Go big, get all the fixings, sweet and tzatziki sauce, spicy…mmmmm best donair I’ve ever had. You’ll be back.

The owner was looking me up and down, I felt extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention, CHECK YOUR FOOD, the lettuce in my salad was rotten, and my friend had burnt beef in his donair. All and all, it was an uncomfortable experience. I do not recommend.

First time in Cranbrook, called for a donair pick up. What a gentleman the owner is! Asked what came on it he, he told me and said 5 minutes until its ready "and my friend free fries". The fries have a great seasoning which i didnt expect at all, donair. 10/10 love it. Hope to be back for another, what a lad! _- fast forward one day, i get the small donair still10/10 fries7/10 but hey it wasn't the owner working today but his staff! Shoot the best staff ever Ben & the lady at the front desk.thank you for being so good, huge smiles great service. Day 2/2 sevice 9/10 thats a major win. (last two photos are day two)

Rockys has always had great food, love their donairs and their pizza. Also if you're ever in there when the owner is present he always goes above and beyond in the customer service department.

The donairs were delicious! Portions were big. The only reason for the missing star is the person working had no clue what donair sauce or any of the sauces they offered were. I would return in the future.

Was hoping for a decent pizza and salad but no luck here. The pizza had way too much sauce on it and the caesar salad had way too much dressing on it. This was a waste of money. The service was also unfriendly. The 4.6 rating this place has is very suspicious. Cheat much?

Ordered a sub and a Greek salad, The sub was made on a hotdog bun and the Greek salad was 98% red onion with 3 olives. The portion was tiny and expensive for what you get.

Ordered from Rocky's about 20 minutes ago. The food hasn't even arrived yet and I can already give this place a 5 star review with conviction! It would be truly difficult to find any better customer service over the phone than what I just experienced ordering from Rocky's. The gentleman who took our order could not have been friendlier and even said he would throw in a large order of extra fries free of charge!

What a fantastic place! Love the pizza LOVE LOVE the Cesar salad, their donairs are yummy and their French fries are a must have! Great job guys. Will definitely be coming back regularly

A great Donair! The staff are friendly and efficient. SERVICE WITH A SMILE for a change the owner is friendly and nice too. I might mention he is a little eye candy, ifin you know what I mean.lol

Grab your covid masks and get over to Rockys! Donair this good should not be available in a small Country city but its here and its amazing! As well as the best French fries in Cranbrook.

Went In today with my fiance and the staff was so friendly, they said our order would take 9-14 minutes so we sat down and the owner came out and offered us some free soda pop, when we got out order they added in a little surprise, FREE FRENCH FRIES! This was my first time coming here but it will not be my last, the food was delicious aswell!

The food was great I only paid for I don't care and they also threw in some fries for me great vibes good customer service

Unbelievable delicious omg we eat donairs from every where and hands down the best! Do yourself a favor and get the garlic both sauces and banana peppers with cheese! I'll be going back!

Rocky's is the best. They have awesome food and the owners and staff are always there with a smile. They make you feel right at home. When ever anyone says they want a Donair, I always send them to Rocky's. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. This is the ONLY place in town to get this great food.

Rockys has been a favourite of mine & my hubby’s forever. For as long as I can remember Rockys being open they’ve consistently had amazing, affordable, and fresh food and great service. Everything from the quality of food and flavour, the cozy restaurant that has no sense of pressure from you as customers (you can show up in your PJs and they’ll still treat you the same!), the generosity and kindness of every single staff member they have, and to the relationships they build with their customers and so much more. Every time we call or come down to the restaurant we’ve always been treated like family, and every friend we introduce to this place becomes a new member of their family and a fan forever always telling us they’re thankful we showed them! ️
No matter what you order it’s always delicious and prepared carefully for you with attention to any special requests, and if you stick with one thing they often remember you. Amazing people and an amazing restaurant that makes a fantastic staple in Cranbrook’s food scene! Thanks for everything always, you guys are the best, can’t wait till next time!

Wow they make a dandy of a pizza! Ordered a couple of smalls and a medium for a family Star Wars marathon and everyone was impressed. Also, the pizza's were huge

I left a 5 star review two years ago when I first came to this area but I had it again tonight and to be honest not the same at all I’m not gunna be that guy that one stars a place because their good people but I will say the meat got way to salty the sauce wasn’t enough and I almost cracked a tooth on a chip of bone that was in the meat not the same as the little place it used to be

Beautiful chill decor and they give you some decent portions on the donairs and fries. Baked pasta is best item on the menu, sauce is one of a kind. Definitely the best experienced on days that the green is burning strong.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. A friend was suggesting this place for a few weeks and I can't believe I slept on this place. Rocky is an awesome guy, he came out and hung out with us while we ate. Really easy to talk to and made me feel welcomed. Now for the food, I've had donairs all over western Canada and Rocky's jumped straight to the top. The best sweet sauce from any restaurant ever. Fresh ingredients that you can actually taste. Thank you Rocky and his partner in crime. I'd come here just to hang out with them. Very cool people with a cool story to tell.

What a great Donair Place.

Wife and I split a medium chicken Donair and some Spinach Pies. First off the bread!
The wrap was soft and warm like it just came from the oven. The Spinach Pie crust looked dry but it again tasted straight from the oven. Nice and tender! Makes me wonder what their pizza dough would be like.

Will return the next time I’m in town

This is the best donair that I've had since leaving Calgary. They serve a great quality product by friendly staff! Owner is amazing and obviously cares about his staff, customers and product! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Delicious donair with great sauce. I complimented them and learned all of the sauces are homemade. They even gave me a small container to take home. Super customer service. Highly recommended.

Got a large Donaire with everything on it. While the Donaire was certainly delicious, it wasn't the best one I have had. I would go back.

Ok food but aweful service. Waitress was very rude and aggressive! Staff had an arguments and insult at eachother loudly l. And again waitress refused to split the bill and ask us to figure it out! Don't recommend to friends and family

Delicious donair! Friendly staff. If I lived in Cranbrook I'd be here a lot. The bar is high now - not every donair is this good!

Decided to go here since Pita Rabbit was closed, ended up getting a way overly salty donair. All the sauces they used also had too much salt, and there wasn't enough fresh veggies to counter and help balance the pallet. Sadly I could only eat half before I had to throw it out. Not overly impressed when it comes to messing up a flavour profile on something as simple as a doniar.

Stopped here while passing though and it was a great choice! Yes the donairs are a bit more expensive than what I’ve had but I also was still full and didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day so definitely worth it! This is the first donair I’ve had with cabbage not lettuce and makes a huge difference to not have it go soggy and nasty. Owner was super friendly and went out of his was to make sure we’d enjoy it. The only complaint I have is that we will need to stop here every time we pass through now!
