I went in today to upgrade my phone. I’ve been with Rogers for years, with no problems. I have a family plan that is no longer offered, but is grandfathered in — to upgrade anyones phone on the plan, the plan would have to change, which is not a problem. The person we were dealing with was a new hire, and did not know what to do and senior staff provided little guidance for them. They made changes to my plan after I explicitly told them not to, and only show me options. They did not communicate anything to me over the hour I was in the store working with them unless I explicitly asked. I spent an hour in the store with multiple staff members and no options were outlined to me and left without a new phone. Was extremely disappointed and honestly making me reconsider providers because of how difficult this was.

Where do I begin with my experience with Rogers? Let’s turn a very negative experience into a good one. I was sold a plan from the call center that never existed but I won’t bore you with the negative details. I got the run around and ended contacting the call center 6 times, super frustrating. It wasn’t until I went into the Rogers store in Metrotown and dealt with Jason the manager and his associate Ken did I see some end to this never ending horrible experience I was having. Jason and Ken did everything in their power to help. They handled my case with such care, patience and precision that I felt like I was not only just a customer. This company needs more employees like these two fine gentlemen. This is still an on going situation so wish me luck

I came in store on Dec 26,2021. An asian girl attended me (I am sorry I forgot her name). I asked about details on Iphone 13 pro and pro max. She asked what company I am with and I said Fido but I am willing to change. Her reply was “ So this is how it works- Fido is for money conscious people where as Rogers is for corporates or business people because they need more data, its just how they target the customers even though fido is owned by rogers”. I felt like umm how is this relevant to my query? I told her this is not a right way to assume anything about a customer when my question was still not answered. She further without feeling any sorry told me one deal and said “it is what is”. I was really appalled by her rude and judgemental behaviour. I spoke to other team member and mentioned what just happened. He was sorry but I was not offered any assistance still. I understand stores are busy during holidays but its still not reasonable to treat anybody in this manner. And the store was quite empty, no line up or so. I would like to mention that I am a Dentist by profession and I believe judging someone by what they are wearing is not nice at all. We all want a good deal if its available. That was the first store I went to and ruined my whole mood. Afterwards I went upstairs to Bell store and the person attended me so nicely and answered all my questions very patiently; hence I bought the phone from them. I don’t know if anybody will look into this matter but I do not recommend that girl for any queries or so.

Really a terrible service, my wife and I went to review the available plans and the person who came to assist us from the beginning was very rude. First of all, he asked us our immigration status, to which he answers.you must have a minimum of 2 years of stay in Canada to be able to give you a plan with a cell phone, otherwise you cannot. If it is a Rogers policy, it is fine but first you must listen to the customer and then say it in a non-rude way, to a certain extent we feel discriminated against by this person, I really do not recommend that they go to this store where from the beginning they observe you strangely.

I bought the iPhone 12 on January 29/21. My iPhone SE had just fell down an elevator shaft 24 floors the night before when I was holding the door open for a couple with a baby stroller. I was told by the concierge of the building that it could be days or weeks before someone could retrieve my phone. Let’s be honest, whatever would be left of that phone. The iPhone 12 came with some promising new features- one of which appealed to me this particular day was this new ceramic exterior providing excellent durability. Normally something like this isn’t too high up on my priority list as I always shield my phones with a case. I’m proud to say that in all my years I’ve never experienced cracking or even chipping the actually screen of my iPhones. But need I remind you, plummeting 24 floors down would take a miracle to keep a screen in one piece. I was educated on iPhones now coming with AppleCare and being charged $10/month for it was not a choice made by me it was the deal everyone had to agree to. I was talked into buying the clear case with MagSafe and of course the MagSafe charger. Ok let’s fast forward to 2 weeks later. Hello Pete, the engineer technician had retrieved your fallen phone please come to pickup. The case (purchased from Society6) took a beating as did the sheet of protective glass covering the screen. However after being stripped down of shields my iPhoneSE was in perfect condition. Let’s fast forward another 3 weeks. I grabbed my phone from the counter and noticed that my clear MagSafe case had some cracks all in it. But wait a minute, looking closer at it and removing the case little shards of glass began to cut my fingers. I don’t even remember the phone experiencing any slips or falls but the back was pretty shattered. Apple explained it’s $600 to fix and Oh whoops I don’t actually have the Apple care I need to fix my phone free of charge because there are now 2 levels of apple care and I’m not paying for the second level so Jokes on me. The iPhone 12 is a piece of breakable glass just ready to shatter your wallet now not only on one side of your phone, but now, 2 sides of your phone. Your basically walking around with a delicate Christmas tree glass ornament as a phone. I wish I had the courage to just leave apple and start a relationship with an Android but Apple has me in these golden handcuffs making it so difficult to leave. You’re like an abusive partner Apple. Shame on you! And shame on Rogers for educating me on all the info that probably only benefit you. I thought I was walking out of there with AppleCare! Nope, just AppleCrap.

Avoid the scammer DESMOND at this location. About 10 years ago I signed up for a 2 year contract without getting a new phone since I already had a phone but as a good person, he should of recommended me not to sign a 2 year contact and there was monthly plan. I was locked in a 2 year of their expensive plan without getting a new phone. I was young and didnt know and had no knowledge. Desmond you are a crook

Don't waste your time in this store. I bought a new iwatch and they were not able to set up even after 3 hrs of resetting, calling and all the harassment.

A sales representative working at Rogers at King George boulevard did fraud under my account and got three phones issued. I went to this store and spoke to Jaison he helped me a lot. Just because of his Rogers cancelled those three connections. He is the best person working over there. Even his team is excellent too. I am very thankful to Jaison.

I spoke to a few different staff trying to get different opinions and options. All were very knowledgeable about cell phones and the different options each had, as well as what plans were available to meet my specified needs. I was also impressed with how the staff was able to make everything accessible to me in my bulky wheelchair. The store itself was spotless, bright and welcoming. Tyvm Rogers

A true pleasure walking in and got the phone that I wanted going in to the Metrotown store (by the bus loop) Justin and James were really helpful with my phone selection and phone options. I highly recommend seeing these guys as they really take their time with customers. Now I will highly recommend all my fam and friends to visit them for future phone/plans. Thanks guys!

Came here after trying to leave Bell. Deshawn helped us right away and gave us deals that Bell couldn't and wouldnt match. I got myself and my wife a phone and i can honestly say i don't regret switching to rogers. I do have to say also that there was a slight miss communication between us and Deshawn.but again Deshawn showed that he valued our business and made things right.thanks buddy

This was my main Roger's store to go since 2006, but my last visit was a tiny bit disappointing, went in there for the free upgrade, person helping me just gave me prices, I wanted to inquire more about other options and almost felt staff was annoyed to have to look at more options for me. I left and went to Roger's at Lougheed Mall where they took the time to view all options and I got my new phone for 300 dollar cheaper than what the staff at metrotown wanted to charge me.
