Rogers Pass Discovery Centre

Great stop off for excellent views, visitor information, local history, a small museum with taxidermy and a souvinear store.

Be sure to ask about the Avalanche of 1910

The Discovery Centre provides a brilliant vantage point for the surrounding mountains of Rogers Pass.

Beautiful new washroom facilities, nice interpretive center. Good place to stop for a rest on the way through.

Loved the place. Friendly staff with good information and recommendations, good little museum and souvenir shop.

3 stars to appreciate they need to recoup some costs. The entry fee for the very small museum is excessive. Nice building, did I mention it is small!?

It was a nice place offering a glimpse of the history of the area. Free admission if you have an annual park pass.

Clean facility and at a very beautiful spot, amazing view of the mountains and ice fields!

Stunning views of the nearby mountains and glaciers. A surprising amount of information about the railway, avalanche disasters and general things to be had here. There are plenty bathrooms here just a shame there isn't a cafe or somewhere to buy hot drinks.

Educational stop along the highway. They sell the National Park Discovery Pass here if you plan to spend more time in Banff, Lake Louise or Jasper, and the pass will also cover admission into the exhibits.

Washroom facilities available for those who just need a rest stop, without admission.

Pleasantly surprised admission was covered by a parks Canada day pass. Worth stopping to check out!

Nice place to visit and learn some of the history surrounding the area. Great bathroom facility adjacent. Beautiful views of the mountains. The big issues for me regarding the location is the traffic. No one follows the speed limit and if you are heading east toward Golden, exercise extreme care and attention. Crossing the road could be hazardous to your health.

Small facility. Ranger was very nice and knowledgeable. Furnished in period furnishings. Great bear movie.
