Service at the bar was great, first time there. Serge the manager came over to personally check on us and chit chat with us, he was awesome! Fish tacos were FANTASTIC! Highly recommended

The hamburger ribs had a bit of a gamey smell, but they were delicious
The steak was medium rare, tender and satisfying.
I was able to make my favorite cocktail as well.

Ethan was a great server. The atmosphere was really chill and welcoming. Food was good, boyfriend got the Nashville chicken burger and I got the chicken tenders. The only thing I didn’t like was the honey mustard.

I ordered seafood linguine, and the gave me a palm amount of pasta. The small bowl it came with, was a 3rd full.a child wouldn't be full with the amount they gave me. I'll never ordered from them again.

Burgers are great but if your not into burgers there's lots of good food on the menu friendly helpful wait staff Had a few good meals here.

Great place been there before to pick up food for doordash thought I try it out with some friends and this place did not disappoint food was great the staff was friendly smiling and also had a great conversation with our hostess Aliyah she did a great job for us

I called at around 4: 30pm to say I wanted to place an order in advance. I wanted to pick up at 6pm. I arrived at exactly 6pm and took the food home. I had the ahi tuna tataki as an appetizer and the surf and turf burger. Unfortunately, each piece of the crispy wonton that was holding the tuna tataki was completely soggy. The sauce of the tuna tataki went right through each thick piece of "crispy" wonton. The fries that came with the burger were cold and had no crunch to them.

The tuna tataki is mostly raw. I hate to think that the food was sitting there for 1.5 hours before it got picked up. I even specifically reminded them it's for 6pm pick up.

So mid and overpriced, I would rather eat at McDonald’s than to eat those disgusting burgers again. Thank god I had a gift card and not paid the full amount!

Food on the Happy hour menu was good not great. Was disappointed with the Nashville hot Chicken Burger. Menu reads well but the Kitchen needs to work on their execution. Drinks were much more satisfying in terms of selection, creativity and value.

Tried the Classic BBQ Beer Burger and Mini Me Sliders. The burger meat was delicious, with good size patties. The Beer infused BBQ sauce was so good. Both the Burger and sliders came with fries (option to change to salad or yam fries for free or extra charge for poutine). Service was great. Drinks and food came fast.

My partner and I have been here a few times and each time the service is horrendous and the food is just mediocre. Last night they gave me chicken tenders with raw chicken. Save your money and go somewhere else

Showed up to a half empty restaurant and told the wait was 10-15 and they’d text me. Showed up after 15 and they sat us right away.
Eventually our server showed up. Asked if we were ready to order and that she was going to get us a water bottle. Never poured our waters.

Never got us cutlery or napkins and we had to ask for it when our food came. I was hoping the food would save the experience. However, my fries were ice cold and the replacement fries were greasy with zero crisp. My Burger was super greasy and my wife got a mushroom burger with barely and mushrooms. Frankly, they both looked and tasted like they lacked love. Menu says all burgers come with a garlic aioli that we had to ask for and we’re charged extra for. Side salad substituted for fries on the menu ‘no extra charge’ … charged extra for.

Near the end of the meal I got a text that our table was ready, Almost and hour later.

The servers didn’t look well trained and looked lost much of the time. They didn’t seem to have an idea what the others were doing. Cohesion and communication were visibly lacking.

The paint on the wall behind our booth looked like it was done by a teenager with no edging done above the booth back rest. The bathrooms hand no purse hooks in the women’s stalls. The mirror was cracked in the woman’s washroom and they tried to put a soap dispenser in front to hide it. The whole restaurant was awkwardly bright to the point that we unscrewed the lightbulb that was a foot above our heads.

All in all, it was a really disappointing experience.

Came from Saskatchewan to visit friends. Stopped here for some drinks and appies, great spot friendly staff.

Food was delicious, our server was really good, good experience overall. We had to wait for a while to get our food, but it was so worth it. We had one person of our party arriving late and the care they showed for her was nothing short of great.

They have a great selection of beer and wine as well as an excellent menu.

We went in for dinner last night, and there was a very large party there so our food was very slow to come out. The server recognized how long it was taking and apologized a number of times.

It was well worth the wait because the food was fresh and delicious. The portions were prefect and flavors were spot on!

As we were finishing our meal, our server swung by and told us because of the delay in getting the food that they were comping our drinks, which was amazing customer service.

I highly recommend Romer’s as the food was delicious and they take care of the customer!

First time at Romer's for most of our party. Had a great time, and the food was very good, with generous portions. Tiana was wonderful and added to the fun evening. Why 4 stars? Well, I guess steak cooking is subjective, and "doneness" seems to vary from one restaurant to another. Did I enjoy it? Sure. Was it "medium"? Hmm.
Would we go back? YES!

Dirty dining room. There was a bug floating around in my water and all the water glasses looked filthy. Sticky tables. Waited a long time for a salad, which was served in a warm bowl. Never going back.

Food was awesome, service was decent (Was all people 25 and under running foh, typical of industy)

My only complaint is the dress code. I think Romers needs to get with the times here and let the girls wear something more comfortable than ultra tight, short revealing black dresses While the men get to wear button down shirts and relaxed fitting pants. It makes the whole experience uncomfortable, knowing that your server can't possibly be comfortable.
Thats why I leave 4 stars and not 5

Service was non existent, didn’t refill water or pop once, servers brought food out and said a chorizo burger was a mile high chicken waited 5 mins for someone new to come out and say this is the mile high chicken and that’s the chorizo when it was half eaten and says so it’s ok? That’s not a huge deal because we can each have half of each but one other burger was ordered just a cheese burger with ketchup so they charged out the most expensive burger and cut all toppings. Won’t be back terrible on so many levels. Don’t eat here 2 adults 2 kids one toddler bill over $100 no booze

We came for a drink and an appetizer which took about 60 minutes to receive overall. The restaurant wasn't slammed with customers, so I'm not sure what the hold up was. When we received what we are paying for, the waitress we had was very cold and overly dismissive. The food was mediocre in flavour and actually ended up giving us food poisoning. I didn't give a tip because the waitress didn't deserve it at all and on the way out she gave us such a scowl. Avoid this terribly managed restaurant and find somewhere better, which is basically everywhere. If Port Moody was a car, you're a dent that needs to be fixed.

They have a great upstairs private room and a nice outdoor seating area. It's a bit noisy inside.

Chicken wings. DO NOT ORDER! They were tiny, hard and old. (You can tell by the brown disgusting color close to the bone and the smell) Honestly, Idk how a restaurant can serve such poor quality of food. I will Never go back! Your lost romers! NO STARS

This place used to have good food, service has declined. Only 3 tables had customers, 2 servers and what appeared to be 2 floor managers - food came out cold and incorrect after 45 minutes. Male floor managers were too busy hitting on all female party or servers to assist in keeping tables clean.
Romers has always had a bizarre/bad service model, but it has become completely indifferent to customers- after 5 years of patronage, we won’t be returning.

I wanted give the “minus” stars. We actually went this place thats because we have a puppy. Host guided us outside table and server never came to us. After 20minutes, I went to go inside for asking server. One of the staff was taking our order. But he seems not the server. Anyway we ordered mushroom burger cut in hlaf and we changed with truffle fries instead of regular fries also ordered Calamari and beer. The food came out after 20min since we ordered, They did not cut in half on my burger, Calamari was salty. The server not gave us truffle fries at the first time. When we ate almost our food, server brought truffle fries. But its too late. The server said the fries on the house, and it was lie. Menu says if you are not ordering fries $3 take off. But our bill was not like that. I regret that I left my receipt. We always give the tip more than 15%.
But we couldn’t do that. If you want to ruin your day, you should go. Its worst restaurant ever in my life.

The food here is average at best. And over salted at worst. Having visited Romers a few times, since the pandemic, the food quality hasn’t been as amazing as it was pre-pandemic. The service is usually good, but the food will not blow you away.

I've ordered from here a few times. Sometimes they are great, other times not so much. Kids pasta dishes are an insane portion, great value. Once received a burger that was completely raw and bright pink inside. Ordered the other day through doordash and they somehow mixed up my order. It was my name on the receipt but the items listed were not the ones I had ordered (ordered a chicken burger and a burger, items on receipt and delivered to me were sushi, goyoza and chicken strips) so clearly someone at the restaurant messed something up.

Thickest and juiciest burgers in Vancouver. I love everything from the toppings to the brioche bun. I love the pineapple on the yellow dog burger, and the salad or fries are all delicious.

Came here for dine out Vancouver. Wait times in between dishes was a little excessive, but the food was absolutely delicious! The steelhead was cooked to perfection. Donuts were a little too cakey and dense for my liking. Definitely recommend reservations, it seems to be a very busy and popular place.

Best Dine Out menu selection by far! So many delicious choices! Thanks for getting us out and for treating us right.

The burguers were really good, the place was not super crowded and the staff was really friendly and accommodating, helped us stay really comfortable even with our little daughter on the stroller. Would definitely come back for seconds!

Always enjoy the burgers here and they have a good selection of local craft beer. Also really like the chicken wings here. Food and drinks are on the pricey end but still somewhere we enjoy going.

Nice atmosphere, good staff and also a good selection of dishes. Great outside seating during the warm weather.

Popped by today for lunch. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food, had to ask for a refill of coffee ️, and we were not suitably impressed with how diligently they followed current protocol re vaccine / public health measures. We are in tough times & I have been eating out more often than normal to try and add a bit to local businesses. Next time will be elsewhere.

The Burgers are fantastic, the fish & chips and mac & cheese are excellent as well. The servers and always friendly as well.

TL;DR, good burger place if you're in the area, nothing amazing to go out of your way to try though.

Came here for dine out, it was pretty empty when we went (around 8pm). Service was good, food came pretty quickly.

Mushroom soup was good, nothing to critique there.

I had the steak frites, the steak and shrimp was okay, I ordered medium rare and it was a little too well done on the edges but its okay, flavor was okay as well. Not spectacular but not bad. Not a fan of thick cut fries so can't really comment on that, thought it was a little dry and flavorless though.

I don't like burgers but fiance said his was good, juicy, good blend of meat, good sauce, "a good burger" he said.

I liked the dessert the most, had the fried mini doughnuts, they came out hot and it was airy and not overly sweet. The ice cream crumble was good as well, I mean I don't think you can screw that up.

Had a peach Bellini, not a drinker and I always order the sweetest of drinks, so if you're like me, you'll like the Bellini here, I couldn't even taste the alcohol:)

I'm giving this place four stars because of the efforts of our server she was amazing. The rest of our experience there was less than great however. Two dishes showed up less than hot, a burger was under cooked and a steak over cooked but the worst part was the wait in-between dishes as we watched other on the floor below get served much faster. The price is as good the food was good even though the above mentioned problems. But I was truly amazed that the server actually cared about the problems and worked to solve them congrats to you. But perhaps you need to hire more kitchen staff to keep up with demand as I'm sure the problems I've mentioned are from overwhelmed staff and probably not just staff that doesn't care about what they send out. Even with all these things I'd be willing to give it another try sometime hopefully when they are less busy as some of the items where very tasty.

Have been here in the past and enjoyed their burgers, but came for dine out Vancouver and it took nearly 2 hours from the time we were seated to get all our food and leave. The starters were great, the entrees were disappointing and the deserts were mediocre. My poke bowl didn’t taste like it had fresh ingredients and was horrendously salty. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

I’m really trying to give you guys a chance and the benefit of the doubt; but most of your staff are unwelcoming or just lack empowerment from management to greet guests with at least a 3 star greeting or service. I’m a seasoned pub n eats person; take this poor rating to heart, and kick it up a notch please. We all like to go to a good place and say “that was great”. Tonite was visit number 5 because I live close by: but your staff just ignored my presence again, at the entrance. Rule 1: acknowledge the customer, if you’re busy - “We’ll be right with you” at least. If you don’t acknowledge the customer, customers start to spread factual reviews like this. PLEASE pick the customer service in this very basic “first impression” aspect. You’re failing there 4 out of 5 visits now.

Ordered eggs benny and the only reason i gave 2 stars is because the sauce was delicious. Cannot say that for the rest of the barely there mean. Mayyyyyybe 10 hashbrowns on my plate and the eggs and ham weren't even on the english muffin, not to mention the yolks were hard. Not impressed.

Their service was quite great. I had to change my reservation couple of times by phone and also by email. I got the email responses in one business day and also phone serservation worked great.

They have a check-in desk right at the entrance which will only let the guests go in when the Covid vaccination QR code and ID are presented.

My waitress was very attentive and we got all our orders in reasonable time. Their happy hours were btw 4 and 6pm and my group ordered all appetizers on the menu. I gave 4 stars because some of their appetizer were a bit salter like we couldn't finish the tater tots as it had too much salty.

They are specialized in burgers but I only ordered sliders. I enjoyed their service, so I will probably stop by for trying their burgers someday.

Went there on a Sunday not to busy started out Moscow mule average at best and a Caesar for my partner which she enjoyed. We ordered the dragon breath chicken wings that were really good nice portion.size and great flavor but that's where it ends. I proceeded to order the Parkside burger which took forever to cook and when it finally came was burnt and hard I sent it back. My partner had the Cubano which was burnt on the outside and red in the middle which was also sent back. I was extremely disappointed a burger establishment couldn't cook a darn burger. I will never be going back to that over priced drinks and burnt burgers

Top notch burgers. The Sangria was great. The brownie dessert was excellent. Highly recommend this place!

Delicious food, superb staff and service. Our group came here for the first time as per recommendation of a friend. Our server Saina had a glowing attitude, and gave great recommendations for food. She made the experience a definite must-return! The Nashville Chicken Mac was my personal favorite, and the burgers were delicious with their fluffy brioche buns and flavour soaked ingredients. All this at a reasonable price point makes Romer's a great choice!

Staff was awesome. Food was amazing and was a great place to go for dinner, then head down to the brewery row.

They messed up our take out order in multiple ways. The customer after me suffered the same fate. They forgot an entire entree of our order, messed up another, and did not include any cutlery or napkins until I went back to ask for them.

Then they made me paid full price for the pleasure and did not really take responsibility. Staff were hard to locate and helpful staff were even rarer. They were seemingly more interested in each other than any of the customers.

Pros: Great location, well decorated interior, good happy hour deals.

Cons: Service is poor, food is bland.

I moved to Port Moody fairly recently and was really excited to have a burger bar within walking distance. I've been a few times now, and I'm usually left feeling underwhelmed and wishing I had gone somewhere else. Tonight I had the Mile High Club Burger, and after a forty five minute wait (it was not a busy Sunday night.), it was just plain bland. Previously I've had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and been really let down by how tame it was.

On the flipside, the happy hour sliders are fairly good and a decent value.

Outdoor seating feels safe and allows for people watching!
Our favourite are the chicken parmigiana and spaghetini with homemade meatballs. Hint, if you're not a fan of the olive oil and garlic sauce with the chicken parm, ask for the marinara instead. Yummy and portions are large enough for leftovers the next day!

Extremely long wait for drinks, even longer wait for food, which was cold. Then a long wait to try to pay and leave. This location has always been really good so they'll be getting another shot from me but I think I'll give them some time to get back on track. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing.

Been to roamers 3 separate times. First time was for takeout and it was horrible. Waited 15 minutes for a hostess only to be told I was in the wrong spot and she didn’t tell me where to go before she walked off. None of the special instructions were followed, including a dietary restriction. The second time was for brunch which is honestly a good deal. Service was great that morning and food was decent. Third time was this evening and the service was horrible and food wasn’t great. I met my parents and sister there and once I got there we got drinks ordered and seemed to be a good start. Food came out and mine was cold, my dads was dry and flavourless. Had to ask the person who brought our food for more water and drinks. Which our original server did bring out, but after we had already gotten them from someone else cause she was MIA. She walked past our table many times without checking in. Didn’t ask how our food was. We had to ask for the bill, and she didn’t even come to take the payment. If you’re my server and you don’t have the courage to come and take my payment after you gave bad service, that’s a strike in my book. Don’t waste your time or money here.

We have tried this restaurant for take out several times and we always have high hopes that our food will be hot. It never is the case, even if you arrive 10 minutes early for pick up. We live within 100 meters of the restaurant and every time our food has been cold. Let's put it this way I have driven to Joey's Coquitlam and back and the food was warmer!

The food is good, but they never pack everything you order. It's become a running joke at my house: order from Romers - I guess we're having PB&J! I kept hoping it was just a coincidence, maybe this time they'll do better, but I've given up now. We're not ordering again.

I went in tonight and the servers were so amazing i have never had such a good time and its all because of the servers saina and tiana they are so outgoing and professional i will definitely be coming back just because of them. Excellent servers and good food! 9

Wow! And not in a good way. Thought this was going to be the perfect place to entice hubby to go somewhere new for a burger.best in town, top 50 in world. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. We drove from Maple Ridge and wish we had hit the Red Robin only 10 minutes away instead.
Ordered hubby a man's man and I had the standard. 2 burgers and a side of fries at $40. We are anticipating to taste the best burgers of our lives.they weren't. Mine was raw (see pic) and I know some folks like a little pink. I'm not one of them but this was red. Taste was OK.nothing to rave about.but I'm basically still hungry because I couldn't eat this.
Would have gone back with it but we had driven to Rocky Point park to eat and had no plans returning to the nightmare that is Suter Brook village.

Overall, not impressed by the food. Had a burger that was sub par, the service was slow even though it wasn't busy. Won't be returning.

Great food and good decor. Great looking staff with a nice patio. The mini doughnuts are nice, maybe switch the lemon cream for a vanilla though.

They make an earnest effort at cycling through local craft beer. Last time I was there the taps had that slightly off taste, but that is not my normal experience. Been to two locations and they both create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I can't speak to the food.

Came in with a large group of children/parents (booked the whole upstairs) recently. Food took a l-o-o-o-o-o-o-ng time to come. This same scenario happened when we came here 3 years ago also (large group, booked the whole upstairs, long food wait). Food came 1.5+ hours after ordering. Some prepared to walk out without the ordered burger (only to arrive just in time).

I found the Beef Brisket burger a little underwhelming, I enjoyed the pickle though that was excellent. Great selection of local Beer on tap will return.

Good food. Burgers and lovely salads, etc from a nicely pared down menu. Comparable prices. Service was friendly if a little slow.

Wonderful. Try Jimmy's big breakfast Burger.
The portions were huge, the fries were amazing, staff was friendly.
It was upscale without being prohibitively expensive.

The menu looked amazing, wish I could say the same for the food. Got the righteous rib, one of the “fave”. Burger was small, patty was bone dry, 1 piece of bacon cut in half and barely any short rib. The garlic fries were cold and had maybe 1/5 clove of garlic added. Their website states “Chef Romer demands we do it right”. More like doing it horribly wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Terrible experience tonight. Left after 2 drinks and a poutine as our server never came back, the poutine was the saltiest thing ive ever eaten. Wouldnt go back. Friends had an experience 2 weeks ago where they ordered and 30 mins later no food and the server had apparently forgotten to place their order. Yikes.

Great burgers with a rotating tap of beers. I personally recommend having your burger with the burger bowl. It's great if you are looking for some extra protein in your diet. The atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing.

Nice little local joint. Menu is very diverse so all in your group will enjoy. Nice happy hour menu. Good seasonal drink list. Wine list has a very good BC focus with a few other favorites to complement. Friendly staff make you feel like you belong there

Our first time at Romer’s was great. Good food, good service. We went back today in hopes to have a similar experience and were disappointed in the extremely long food waits (over an hour for our table of four) and then not the greatest food this time. Burgers were sloppily plated, each of us only got three onion rings, and for over $100 for the four of us, it just didn’t feel like a great lunch and was average at best.

I really want to like Romer’s but worry they’re becoming overrated quick. We will try again once more and will be rooting for them in this next attempt.

I will say though, the customer service is overall really good. I called ahead to let them know we’d have a service dog in our party and they were extremely accommodating so kudos on that.

They do a great burger. Most of their appies are good as well, I've only had few of the other main dishes they seemed just fine too. Super busy on weekends though.up to a 2 hour wait sometimes

Had the back 40 PBA burger - with the beyond meat patty! Was so excited to see this on there menu! I am not vegan but love the option. The burger was cooked perfectly. A couple people in our group had the Nashville hot chicken burger and said it was okay, a bit dry for fried chicken. Always a plus when a restaurant supports local as well, they had beers on tap from all the local breweries!

Will defiantly be back for more food in the future!

Went here for a birthday with a group of appx 20 people. Service was friendly & fast despite our numbers. Ahi tuna appy and burgers are delicious! Only lost one star because after dinner we were made to wait a really long time to pay, the system had crashed & the servers had to figure out who ordered what.

Terrific spot. Beautiful views of the inlet. Great spot for dinner and a cocktail before your brewery crawl. Happy hour (3-6pm) has some great share plates.

This review is for the Avocado Smash, because of the ingredients that were not listed on the menu. There is a lot of DILL mixed into the avocado and feta underneath the poached eggs. The salad has a very salty and strange soya SOYA SAUCE dressing. And Romero's appears to medium to hard poach the eggs without asking your preference. I assumed my eggs would not be poached as I wasn't asked. Service was ok.

This was our first time at this location. Loved the look and atmosphere of the place. Went to order beer and they didn't have 2 of the beer I tried to order (Which were on the menu). Then ordered the short rib Mac n Cheese. Which you pay extra for the short rib, and believe me it was short. It was a small little 1inch by 1.5 inch piece of meat that was dry and crusted on top of my bowl of Mac N Cheese. The mac n cheese was good tasting and came with salad and some buttered toasted loaf. I was pretty upset to pay extra for such a tiny piece of meat. I didn't complain but if I were to order this again and I came out like this I'll definitely say something. I'd go back to try something else.

The restaurant seems to have a nice upbeat vibe. My order was for take out. Good was ready within 20 minutes. Unfortunately it was not as hot as one would expect. Drive home wasn't that long. Would try again and eat in.

This place is a hidden gem. Staff was on it and super friendly. CHIRIZIDON burger was unbelievable. Great local taps and a really great room. Definitely a go to.
