I like the wading pool, ball courts, baseball diamond. Play options in the playground are OK, there are a few slide options, climbing objects, swings and see saw.
I am down rating as there are very few shade options around the playground area. There is a single covered table area but it fills quickly and is far from the playground (far as in not close enough to monitor my small kids when they are playing)

Ron Maclean Park is a fantastic spot for a family picnic and outdoor activities. The presence of a wading pool is a definite plus, providing a refreshing way for families to cool off during the summer. The inclusion of a playground with swings and slides ensures that children have ample opportunities for play and entertainment. Moreover, the availability of a nature trail caters to those who appreciate outdoor walks and exploration, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. All in all, with its combination of picnic areas, wading pool, playground, and nature trail, Ron Maclean Park is a well-rounded and enjoyable location for families seeking a day of outdoor leisure and fun.

Playground equipments are not in a good shape. However it has nice green field for picnic and trails for a little walk. During the summer time the wading pool offers a lot of fun to kids too.

A super neat slice of nature, ravine and decent stream in the middle of urban sprawl. Such a nice respite.

Clean washrooms with modern high output air dryers but the men's has only one toilet, one urinal, and one lavatory. Baseball field with two outdoor bleachers and a practice pad, single basketball court, single tennis court, medium-sized sports field, slope with tree cover along Rumble Street. In the south half there is a kids' playground, s small water park, and a handful of picnic tables.

Very good park for small kids with some play activities. Nice for a walk around. Has ample parking around the park in the lanes. The park is on slope so if you are walking down be careful with kids. It's round the corner on Griffiths drive. Has a base ball ground next to it.

Excellent neighbourhood park, great for families with kids. Small parking lot, with available parking in residential area. Some amenities include restroom, fields, tennis courts, playground, etc. This area also has a trail for people who want to go for a walk. Overall, would recommend.

Quite a small park, is anchored by the baseball pitch. Does have some parking, washrooms and a small play area. Tennis and baseball courts also available. Trails lead to Edmonds SkyTrain Station and down through Byrne Creek Ravine to Marine Drive.

The homeless tents are growing more everyday. Set up right off the paths. Something needs to be done.

Ron McLean is a park located in a quiet neighborhood. The park features a small children's playground and a separate swing set with normal and baby swings. During the summer the wadding pool is full of water and families. The City of Burnaby has a small shack for arts and crafts which is also open during the summer. The park also has tennis courts and very large fields around it which have mountainous weeping willow trees. Behind the park are a few trails which lead to a small river for the adventurer inside us all. The park would be good advocate for your next school trip or work event. I would definitely recommend it. Attachment: River down trails.

This park also has a small concrete floor hockey rink with 2 metal hockey nets (which isn't in the description)

Good little park to being kids and pets to during the day, there are swings slides and an ankle deep pool, I have no idea when that thing turns on though. There are also bag stations for pet owners who might of forgot to bring a bag at the cost of replacing it the next visit. Keep away from the back trail, it's not safe.

One of a kind park; you have kids playing, teens smoking and seniors practicing chi around a sacred tree ‍️
