Really enjoyed my recent experience here. I walked in with my young child who wanted to come pick up some grass seeds and other things. A nice experienced man by the name of Dean approached me and guided me to find some other items while giving me his tips on how to improve my lawn. He was welcoming and warm enough for my 6 year old to step in and engage with him. The lawn is looking better alteady! Thanks Dean!

Horrible service on Friday, waited in the paint dept for 30min then called the store to tell them we need help.
Waited another 10 min when finally a young guy without pep in his step, sauntered over to us, we showed him a online pic of what we wanted and he had no clue so ended up trying to call someone else.
We wanted to support local but we won’t ever be back, horrible service.

Staffs are all nice and kind. But the store has too few kinds of products and many things are missing some parts.

Wrost home center in the lower main land never have the simplist solution to Mt home issue. Go to home depot even if the can't find someone to help you there. It's better then wasting your time going here.

Since new management came in its much better. We'll at least when he is there. That's what a hardware store used to be. People who help people. Edmonds st location. Forget it. Don't ask them they just work there. The new manager a Austin is one awesome guy.

My experience with delivery of a gazebo was really bad. I ordered delivery of a steel gazebo of 476 lbs. They did not tell me at the time of booking that it is going to be curbside delivery. And I was told that I will receive a call to schedule delivery date.

I waited for the call for three days and was wondering if I should follow up. Suddenly a driver calls me that delivery will happen today. I live at a corner and there is a walking path besides my entry to backyard.

The driver arrived and said that he can only do curbside delivery. That would have meant that the it would be placed on the walking path. The Rona people suggested that the unpack the item and take it inside and build it.on a weekday they expected me to unpack the gazebo peices and build them.

As mentioned, they failed to schedule a date and also failed to discuss that it will be curbside delivery. I have a small garage andthat is not empty. I had to return the item. I feel that Rona is highly unprofessiona in which their staff handles this matter.

Excellent customer service. It took me and Rona a while to get a replacement part under warranty for its outdoor 11-feet umbrella, which is the best I have ever had. Just before the heat wave I got a new replacement as parts are hard to come by. All along Rona had been attending the issue and updating in the status. No, I didn't need it in the winter, so waiting on the cold season wasn't an issue. Confirmed, good customer service.

Aaron in paint was amazing! He spent several minutes looking for a paint that was supposed to be in stock. He took extra care to help us even though it was the end of the day. I would highly recommend this location!

Paint department is amazing.

Check out was a hassle as I was charged incorrectly and had to go back in. It was easy to fix.

This rona is very close to home, I come here mostly for top soil for my garden they have a huge selection and its not expensive, large garden section. The outside of the building is looking a little run down needs to be redone soon. Great location, home, garden, patio and lawn stuff, friendly staff. Recommend.

Why say it's in stock if there is none? Wasted my time at three stores and time travelling between. The second store manager supposedly called and said they have it? Why can't these big corporations keep their website up to date and user friendly. When I search for a plastic item and I get stainless steel and galvanized in My search does not help speed up or save me time. Never again will I trust Rona.

Been shopping here since it opened. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent selection of essential and specialty items. Smaller store, so quantities may be limited.

COVID protocols are in place and are good. Well located store, with plenty of free parking. Staff is always friendly, and prices are sometimes better then the ones found at rona website.

Okay, but pretty scarce compared to other RONA stores. Never has what I'm looking for, and I have to go to the Coquitlam Central location. Employees are great though, so I can't complain too much.

Went there today to buy a toilet seat grabbed one but price was wrong showed 2 cashier's and a 3rd and all they said is can give me 10$ off I asked to talk to manager and I waited almost 10 min and no show so I left the store, rule is in all stores if they have that item in a section with wrong price they are supposed to honor it and manager sucks

Ok for common things. But a smaller store; often don’t have the smaller or less common hardware selection. Mostly high school employees, which is good, but hands-on experience (assistance) is limited.

Ordered online from this store NO DELIVERY online they will call you. Sir 14 WEEKS till delivery. Like my tenants don't need to do laundry for 14 weeks. They will call me slum lord.
That is WHY they don't have delivery available online!

Staff was helpful to me and I am as handy as the male nipple is useful. They walked me through the process and got me the product I needed. More importantly I completed the minor project with no issues thats to the staffs' instructions. Not only did I walk away feeling they were helpful but on a practical level they were helpful. Thanks Rona.

Don't know why we keep going back to this store. Minimal inventory means minimal choices. Even worse when you are looking for a specific item that one would reasonably expect to find in a hardware or home improvement store.

I came in looking for a small countertop food waste bin.
I made sure to check online first, and it said there was 8 in stock.
I show up looking for the bin, but could not find it.
Flagged down some staff, they couldn't find it.
In total had 3 staff members looking for this bin. One asked if I was sure I was even at the right store.
I pulled out my phone to show them the website, store, quantities, pictures everything.
Still no luck.
Went to Home Depot, found what I was looking for

Really pathetic service today, I came in and asked the cashier for assistance with key cutting. He called for key cutting assistance on the pager. I waited at least 10 minutes, no one came. He paged again. I waited some more. I asked him what is going on. He then tells me the guy who normally does key cutting is at the customer service desk, which was around the corner within eye shot. He suggested I go over there and line up to talk to him, meanwhile he would continue paging into the great unknown. The customer service guy was helping another person, so I waited a bit. After I returned to the key area, he seemingly disappeared, and the cashier did not seem to care at all, after watching me stand there for ~20 minutes patiently waiting for assistance. I ended up just leaving empty handed without ever receiving assistance or any kind of apology. As Donny T would say. "Sad! "

Randy was a super help to me getting building materials from the yard through the store on a cart when others were not interested in helping. COVID changes there may it impossible to go out through the old yard entrance so Randy was so much help! He even helped me load the materials into my SUV. Thanks Randy!

I usually avoid this store due to the size being a little small so the selection can be lacking, but lately it's been the hidden gem to avoid crowds and lines

When you need hardware and real service. This is the place to go. Their prices are usually competitive and you can actually find a staff that wants to help you. You don't actually need to catch one or beg for service. It's great.

Waiting 24 minutes poor customer service.
They were looking for someone to help took almost half hour. Not acceptable!

Let's hear it for Johanne/Joanne the manager/supervisor of the Rona on Austin Avenue! I had asked for one of the kids on floor (actually helpful) to grab me a makita 11A recip saw off a shelf. So he did and handed it to me. I was shopping for nearly 20 minutes (which would have been plenty of time to walk out with it) than she came up to me and didnt explain herself nothing. Grabbed the makita box from my hand and walked to the front with it, as if I were going to steal it.just how rude and abrupt it was really made me feel UNWELCOME in RONA I'm not sure who hired her but a review should be applied for her position. I'd rather her of come up to me and say hey its policy to bring that to the front. But it wasnt behind any locked cases locked cupboards nothing.it was in the wide open. And for her to just grab it from me before I even had the chance to hand it to her is ridiculous.not sure I'll be back

Bait and switch with on sale items. Zero inventory of on sale items. Can't actually pay for purchases because they are not scanned into inventory. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is the staff actually try their best despite numerous problems

Limited selection, often have to visit HD to get a better selection. However, they carry many products that may not be found at HD.
