Jessie was amazing! He helped me find some windows and then insisted he help me into my vehicle with them. I hope for his sake someone puts SKUs on the windows soon? Jessie was kind, polite and super helpful. You have a gem in him.
I had placed an online order, product was not available when I arrived. The Rona team worked with me to find a replacement product and spent considerable time to ensure I left with a product that met my requirements. Awesome customer service, I appreciate your help.
Asked the girl at the till for help and she said “no”. Someone came and helped and was rude and disrespectful. When leaving the girl at the till told me not to return my item. Shocking!
One of the light fixtures I bought, about two years ago, stop working. According to the product information paper, it has a 5 year warranty. I called the Rona toll-free number listed under the "warranty" section. I called three times and left two messages. After waited for three business days and no callbacks, I took the light fixture back to the store see if I can get some help. The young lady at the counter told me the store is only responsible for 90 days from the date of sale. She was very friendly and polite. But, there is nothing she can do. Well, I took the light fixture to a local recycle depot. A lesson learnt. But, I do hope the chain can improve their after-sale service.
Often understaffed but the staff they do have are very helpful and friendly. Store is very clean, well organized and restocked often. I've never had an issue finding something in store that shows in-stock online. Staff go out of their way to help in departments they aren't familiar with if no one else is available. Paint desk can be a bit of a wait sometimes. I don't usually mind since they sell woodworking finished Home Depot doesn't. Returns are easy at this location and so is price matching. I end up at this location several times a month since it's close to my shop.
Young lady working the till on weekends must not use Antiperspirant. Smells so bad. Because of this I will not be returning. TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO WEAR ANTIPERSPIRANT! Discussting
Went in to buy counter tops and talked to Manny. He guided us through picking the right product and we ended up giving our information to get it installed also. Above and beyond, he also went outside with us to the lumber lot and helped us decide our patio stones. I usually never leave reviews but shopping at Rona finally felt good again. Keep it up
Never things in stock or not in right place. Store is messy. Some things online can not be shipped to store. Never ever, anyone around to help. Prices and service alway much better at Home Depot.
Went over to rona today for shopping. No sale associate on the floor. After spending 20mins went to the cashier and asked for help. Associate went to pick up the ladder and never returned.fortunately, another assoctaed asked us and helped us in finding the product. Cashier Sarah was very rude and prejudice. I have decided not to return to the store ever. Don't recommend this place to anyone.
Was there today and asked where the clothes line materials were and no one knew where, I asked four different people and one had clue. Worst customer service ever.
Yesterday I went to Langley Rona for purchasing Coolaroo Rolling shade 10*6 which the product on sale. I checked inventory on Rona.ca before my visit. They have 20 pcs in stock but I couldn’t find it. Therefore I asked help to the first staff where I saw in building supply area. He was pretending not to hear. I meet the second staff in outside compound where selling lumber area. This is a short senior man. I show him the picture on my cellphone and told him the product is on sale now. He answered me that he never see the product and then he walk away. These two staffs didn’t respect customer. The only one star which I gave to the third staff where I meet in outdoor furniture area. This is a young boy. He just make a phone call when he saw the picture on my cellphone. And then he bring me to the right place. Finally, he found the product in a box above a shelves. This is a good staff only I meet in Rona Langley. I won’t go there anymore.
Worst customer service ever…. I ordered 2 portable Air conditioners in the first week of April by them confirming it will be delivered by mid May. Waited till end of the May no response on follow up calls. Walked in twice, promised someone will call me to update the status. 3 rd time the CS guy told me the order comes when it comes… lol and I can take my refund if not happy to wait till whenever it comes and telling me it’s not summer yet…. Lol. Rona doesn’t care about customer at all. Holding my $2100 for 2 months.
Then I bought AC from Home Depot same day I got the refund and service I received there was awesome…they know how to treat customers fairly…no matter you spend $10 or $10000
Asked help finding an item the website said was in stock, was told isle 6, wasn't there, went to the front, said they would send someone to isle 6. No one showed up.
Wow! We had pretty much given up on our local Rona on Langley Bypass as sadly over the last couple of years we have found the customer service to be seriously lacking.
Fast forward to today! The minute I walked in the store, I could sense a change. Stephen (a new manager I believe) assisted me and the customer service was top notch, extremely professional and helpful; it felt like a 'mom and pop' store of old times.
In my opinion, Stephen is one of the BEST managers Rona has ever had. I will be shopping there frequently again!
Not the best shopping experience. Ordered an outdoor wicker loveseat, waited for more than a month. Tried to get information on delivery, their IVR simply disconnected every single time.
Went all the way to the store to learn it has not shipped yet and there is no specific date.
Bought a similar product from another retailer the very same day.
Fantastic recent experience at Rona Langley. We bought some flooring that was not sticking properly. The store manager, Stephen, was awesome. Helped to rectify our problem quickly and efficiently. His customer service skills were above approach. Rona Langley is lucky to have him.
Called this location 4 times over 3 days and left several messages yet never received a call back! Was in regards to an online order pickup, giving 2 stars as the pickup went well but management really needs to take a look at their customer service and see why calls aren’t being answered and voicemails not returned!
Love the online order pick-up process. Received an email advising item ready for pickup. A barcode was included in the email, which I displayed off my mobile phone at the lockers near the exit in the store and a locker door swung open for me to access my item
Clean, pleasant staff, helpful and directed me to the parts I needed. Front sales staff helped in directions for another service I required. Lots of parking, clean store and stocked shelves.
I have come multiple times to buy things listed as in stock on the website but when I get there, they don't exist.no staff can locate them for me in store or out back. What's the point of having a website? I feel bad for the employees that have to deal with that on a regular basis.
Literally you cannot find someone to help you.we went to customer service 3 times and asked them to page someone, nobody showed. Prices are still decent ava better than home Depot.
This is my go to hardware store because I live really close. Not the best for having what you need. But the staff are really helpful. Prices are good. I keep going for the staff!
I’m so glad I went to the Rona on the Langley Bypass today, as the customer service from a gentleman named Richard was amazing! He helped me find what I needed, and the tools I needed to cut it. His exact words were, “ It is my job to make my customers happy. ” Thank you Richard.
I needed a part to fix a older style towel rod. Cory, at the Langley location, tried to help me find it but apparently my model was discontinued even though their display still showed it. He then offered to give me the part from the display model since they could no longer supply nor sell it anyway! Free is always good, and that was a treat, but to offer to help when I had no other option was above and beyond my expectations.
I am actually giving this Rona location the stars they deserve-0 (can't post with less than one). One staff actually told us that customers are problem and stop him from getting things done when we asked for an answer to a quick question. When we pointed out at the checkout our item had a lower price on the shelf, the manager Vicky gruffly said "just change it it's not worth arguing ". Never ever felt so unwanted in any store and will now oblige them and shop elsewhere so they can "get things done " without any "arguing ".
We had bought a hardtop gazebo on May 16,2021. Delivery day was set for Wed. May19/2021. Delivery people “ Ravi “ sent a text message very early in the morning on Wed at 4: 35am about “ receiving updates regarding the delivery”
All day Wednesday, we didn’t get any updates, no phone calls, NOTHING!
It was then 7: 35pm Wednesday, we had been waiting, still NOTHING.
Husband had been reaching out to the store, even left a voice message but NO CALL BACK!
8: 00pm, I drove to Rona store, spoke with the staff but they didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on. Finally, I was told that the delivery people RAVI had decided to Cancel.
No one tried to reach out to us to let us know.
Finally, I spoke with the store Manager, Farannah, who did not seem to be sympathetic of the situation had arranged for another delivery day. Which is today. Thursday, May 20/2021.
Scheduled time was 0900am. The delivery guy didn’t come until 2Hours later.
I paid $70 for the delivery that included all this grief and frustration.
RONA and their Delivery People NEED to improve their COMMUNICATION and CUSTOMER Care.
Overall, I would have given the RONA LANGLEY BYPASS STORE a NEGATIVE rating for their handling of this type of situation. Store Manager -customer relations ship is very POOR.
I purchased a cordless lawnmower on their website on May 6th and I have yet to receive an email that my product is ready for pickup. Today I took a chance, at Rona Fleetwood, to see if they had inventory of the same mower but no luck. However they did say that Rona Langley had 5 mowers in their store. So I went to Rona Langley and the associate checked their system to make sure they have inventory and their system confirms they do have stock. So I purchased another mower through their store and I cancelled my web order. An hour later the associate comes back to tell me that they have nothing in their store and containers. I spoke with their Manager, telling her my whole story and to find out why 2 Rona store systems are telling customers that they have inventory only to find out there is no mower in their store. The only thing she said was “it was a mistake and a typo” and their records show that they have not received any shipment of this same mower since March. While this is happening they continually to receive web orders of this same mower which the Manager confirms that Rona Langley has 12 orders waiting to be filled. I see Rona stores lack in customer service, lack communication and lack accountability. Rona used to be one of my go to stores over Home Depot, not anymore!
