I had one of the worst disrespect insident I my forty year professional life as a Gas contractor. The last time I went to this very poorly run store. I called ahead just like I have done for many years to make sure that what I ordered was there and ready to go but when I got to this very poorly managed store. No one had a clue what was happening. Then a spoke to a so called manager. After taking to her. I can see. I can see the problem. I will never forget how bad I was treated.

I've had mixed experiences at this location. Cashiers are not particularly friendly or competent. One time I bought 2 gallons of paint, brushes, rollers, etc. I calculated the total in my head and the actual total was WAY more than expected. I asked cashier to double check and she initially refused, stating "that's what the register says". I could clearly see on the screen that she had at some point pressed a "6" in the quantity field when I was only purchasing 1! If I hadn't been insistent, I would have paid 6x the actual price. No apology or accountability. After this incident, I only shop here if I can't get what I need somewhere else.

Type in 2x4 primed fascia and you'll get paint brushes and garage storage

Bought 2 fans there. Cashier was a grouch. Practically threw my change at me. When I went to pick it up off the counter and floor, she just scoffed at me. Will not shop there again considering their staff are unappreciative towards their costumers.

Rona in Powell River, BC is a great store with very friendly and helpful staff. I was in the store 4 times trying to figure out how to order a specific shower and base, and each time I spent about 30 minutes with Cale. He is very a efficient and friendly young man who at no time seemed perturbed when I showed up at the store again, and again to see him. He went from web site to manufactures sites trying to find the shower I wanted, and in the end there was only one available in Calgary. I believe he went above and beyond what he needed to do for me. When he couldn't find a certain thing, he quickly consulted with two managers, Kyle and Callie, which showed he was willing to go the extra mile to assist a customer. He should be Employee of the Month.
Both Kyle and Callie were great as well.
I also have to mention Evelyn who works at the check outs. She is also very friendly and quickly acknowledged me each time I came into the store. This is the type of store I like to shop in.

I needed help to get stuff for a new roof.walked the store 2 times no help went to contractors desk he sent me out side 5 people. Standing there talking they told me to go in side.so i went to valley buildings i spent 3500.00 there

Rona in Powell River is a organized, clean and quiet store with friendly helpful staff and good products. The prices are expected comparable to other Rona's.

Didn't have what I needed this time, they have a key cutter but didn't have the blank, walmart did but blew it on two trys, I finally bought a blank from them and made my own with my dremel.

I am from Victoria and have been doing a project on my trailer and they have been extremely helpful, and friendly. Enjoy shopping there.

Excellent place to shop and get those items you need for diy type projects. The staff are extremely helpful, courteous and positive. They are also knowledgeable and keen to assist you. I highly recommend them if you need hardware supplies for your next project!
