Was sent to THREE different aisles by THREE different staff and couldn’t find what I was looking for.

I was just looking for staples for my air compressor… should not have had to leave without them.

Great staff! Easy to find someone when I needed help and they took me right to the product I was looking for.

Worse customer service experience I have here. When we buy things from Rona why can't they return it without arguing infeont of other people.worse experience this location.was my first time here and never coming back

Terrible service! The forklift lady this morning was very rude! I asked for help to get some more drywall down. Forklift driver did not come so I had to HANDBOMB drywall myself which caused me to become late. I almost tripped trying to reach for drywall that is over my height. That’s a safety hazard! I will be calling the store to file a formal complaint.

Ordered a bunch of wood online to fix my deck and selected the “express delivery” which supposedly guarantees the order to be delivered that day. I waited around all day for the order and finally contacted customer support. They said it might come Monday Night… today is Saturday and I was hoping to do the work today/tomorrow.

I am sure they will respond to this saying they are busy or it isn’t guaranteed. However, if the order was not going to be fulfilled, why have the option or why not call/email the person to tell them it isn’t coming?

This Rona has been here for years and it has always been terrible, don’t go here if you can avoid it, which I normally can, but today Home Depot’s site wouldn’t take my delivery order. Anyway, lesson learned again… there is a reason why Rona is slowly disappearing.

Great products, fair prices, friendly service. I recommended to anyone who has a home project.

The hours are great for the early birds. I usually find what I need. Need here before my 7am shift.

Great store good employees when I move to south Surrey this was the only hardware store out hear. Then we got home Depot and we were excited to get them.
After a couple years home Depot service went to the dogs but our Rona store never change they are way better and look after Thier customers and Thier employees which some of the Rona store employees have been Thier for many years.
Thanks Rona nice to see that you have stayed loyal to customers even though you have been sold to a American super store please don't pickup on the customers service these super stores bring with them.

East to find just what I need from here. I do wish they had open bins of screws as I don't love having to buy a box when I need only two.

Lindsay at the contractors desk is great. Super helpful and friendly. The store is organized and usually has what I need.

Didn't have a lot of time so asked where the item was that I was needing as soon as I got in. He told me what aisle and where in the aisle it would be. Very helpful

I had a wonderful customer service experience with Shafia South Surrey location! They sold out high velocity fan. She went out of her way to call their Langley store to see if they have any and call me back to let me know they had some left. I haven't had such great service for years! Thank You Shafia.

Helpful staff and good prices on hardware and garden goods. Had the regular price for slug bait that was advertised as a special at Walmart and other places.

Everyone who works here is super kind and helpful.i was working on a project and had to return a few times for a few different things, and the people that helped me find the things i needed were fantastic.they also often have items in stock that are out of stock at other rona locations.would give 6 stars if i could!

Visited this store in the morning of Sunday 5/01, and the store manager sent the attendant who was wearing the tag "Rod" to help me. He was not a friendly person to deal with. Definitely does not carry the personality or the attitude to help customers.

Here's the exact conversation we had;

Rod: What are you looking for?

Me: (Showing him the empty shelf and my cellphone showing the item in stock) I can't find it here, the website shows it 'in stock.am I looking at the right shelf?

Rod: What's the item number? Show me your phone

Me: (While showing him the phone) Item# XXXXX.

Rod: (interrupts me and talking with a rude tone) Hold your phone steady, you're moving! - and you're talking too much, I cant see it! Our website isn't correct. Just because it is showing there doesn't mean we have it.

At this point I haven't even spoken to him more than a few words!

And then he moved away and grabbed what I was looking for. Almost threw it at me even without looking at my face!

I told him he was rude and I was going to make a formal complaint. Then he changed his tone and became a completely different person.

I complained to the manager and she was very apologetic, but my first experience there was really bad.

Not shopping there again. Home Depot is 100 times better, their staff is very polite and genuinely helpful.

Again, I can't recommend this store to anyone.

Good morning!
I had a refreshing experience at this Rona at 715am. Shafia and Jane were wonderful. To kick things off Shafia was out front sweeping, she was kind enough to guide me to the entrance door. It was too early lol
Once inside I came across Jane who went above and beyond. I was looking for fire extinguishers, she took me over to them and then she compared their work fork lift fire extinguisher with what I needed to ensure I had the correct letter rating. A B C was what I needed, Jane went above and beyond. When I realized i was unable to carry 9 of these, Shafia help me get a cart. These women deserve a 10 star rating.
I'm beyond grateful and am looking forward to shopping there again.

The store is well organized and they have lots of staff to help you if you need anything. Their prices are good and they have a clearance section where you can find bargains.

Received exceptional service from one of their associates the other night.she was friendly, helped me find what I was looking for, retrieved the product off a high shelf (ladder was required), and even brought me a shopping cart from outside. Employee of the month for sure!

Store was clean. Attendant was helpful, cashier was friendly. Prices were higher than at other stores.

Don't bother to on-line order or try to pick up your purchases at their designated parking stalls. They don't answer their phones and eventually you will have to go in and find your order yourself. Cashier very nice but overworked. I think she works entirely by herself in that big store. Poor thing! Hire more people to help her, Rona!

Amazing service here, spoke with Kelvin and got some information on artificial turf and he was super patient and knowledgeable. Best experience at this Rona location by far!

They can’t sell me a mouse trap because nobody on staff is certified to handle pesticides? A mousetrap without a pesticide in it is considered a pesticide?

A handy location for the nearby neighborhood to get their "fixins". Unlike some hardware stores where drywall mud is in paint and a bigger display near gyproc, here, paint had none and mud opposite side of store. Different idea but made for a long walk and asking for help. They got your lumber though, as the saying goes!

Beware of Rona own-label products! Last night I had a RONA light bulb self-destruct approximately 30 seconds after screwing it in. I assumed that RONA would replace the product with the same, or comparable product. But no. I spent many years in retail, and we always stood behind our own store label products. I've bought virtually all my bulbs from this outlet since moving in across the street 6 years ago. From now on, I'll be driving the extra mile to Home Depot.

The usual dysfunctional routine! Load yourself, while employees watch. No contractor discount at the yard cashier, (you have to go inside and stand in line for that)
As a contractor time is money, there I no time to waste on Rona's poorly run operation. The big Orange Box, at least offers volume discounts, assists in loading or unloading and will arrange delivery.
Unfortunately evey Rona is the same, poorly run and out of date.
As the service industry grows, sadly Rona will get left behind in the dust.

It’s ok. Good location but I find I drive a bit further to Home Depot because they just have more of everything.

If you need something very basic like a can of primer or a hammer it’s prob fine. Though almost everything is more expensive than HD or Cdn Tire.

Marvin helped me feel like I knew what I was doing! Extremely helpful and got us everything thing we need and we left with a ton of knowledge. Amazingly helpful

I went in there today to talk about a product that my elderly dad has been waiting over two months to get! The customer service is basically nonexistent. I talked to the manager who gave me the run around. They promised to return phone calls and didn’t! Who makes you wait over two months to get a wood product? ! Awful!

Generally the staff are pretty helpful in here. Sometimes the stuff is cheaper than Home Depot but they often have the same things if you're for variety This store is much easier to track someone down for help finding things than the big box competition.

Rona home and garden is definitely a one stop shop for all your building and garden needs. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Actually there's no option to give less than one.
I have some investment rental properties so often have to go to home improvement stores,
This south surrey rona is a convenient location for me, but unfortunately never had an experience which encourages me to come back to the same location.
Today's experience forced me to write a review.
As Rona had a great clearance prices on flooring, i was buying some then i liked a washing machine in the appliances section. Because i was ready to pay for it, i went to customer service and asked for assistance in the appliances section. After her 3 failed attempts to page an employee to help me, no one showed. Meanwhile, i asked two other associates for help, but neither of them were "from that department". On top of this i faced severe unprofessionalism from Edika, as she told me that even if i paid the full amount, she wouldn't be able to inform me when it would arrive saying it could take anywhere from one month to two and half months. When i very kindly told her that despite being a regular returning customer i was having a poor experience this time, she said we are understaffed and busy. If senior management is reading this review can you please ask the audit department how many sales were made between 2: 30-3: 30 on September 26 as they were not that busy. I didn't end up buying anything from the store because of this experience.

If given the option to take the star away from this rona and give it to the Fleetwood location i definitely would.

We did a cubside pickup at your store recently and it took over 20 minutes for someone to bring our parcel to us. No one else was waiting and I had to phone back twice to ask if they were coming. I would suggest you post a phone number on the sign outside & also see how Home Depot works their curbside pickup. It's seamless & a joy to shop there. I'm not trying to be critical; just to improve upon your service. It's not good at all.

The truth is, in Rona you could die in one of the aisles and no customer service rep would find you before you had become a mere bag of bones

I went to this store for the first time in over a year and was very pleased with the young lady with the mask who not only told me where to find my fertilizer but took me to the yard and showed me and explained the best one.
I was surprised that they had hand sanitizer but no dust masks nor virus masks.
What a pleasant change from last time I was in that store. Keep it up folks and I will be back.

I want to support Rona so badly, but they never seem to want my business. Rarely will they look for anything stating each time, it’s somewhere on the pallet in the back come back in a couple of days and they’ll be put on shelves by then.off to Home Depot I go.

Some staff have really bad attitude. Anyways cant fix that. But its nicer to be a good person while ur talking to a customers.

The young man on the phone last week and the young lady today were amazing. Last week he searched through pallets for me and found where it was, it was just too far back in the warehouse in the pallets he couldn't get too. He called me back to let me know about his search. He told me when to call back and apologized. Today I called and she went and retrieved my item and it was ALMOST waiting for me at checkout. I think I took to long and it went back on the shelf. Excellent service. Very impressed. Will definitely be back.

Would be nice if staff would be more widely available. I asked a friendly woman if she could help me but she told me she doesn't work in that department. So I waited for the right person to come along. Nothing. I miss Germany.this wouldn't happen.

Misleading prices, bad customer service, very bad items stock, doesn't match website availability. I try avoid rona at all times.

Their customer service is really bad.if u bought something from and that't work properly and u go for exchange the item.they dont into this location they ask to call the company who manufacture it.that's take about 2 month come back to u.they are way worse if u compare with.home depot, canadian tire etc.
