Roots Hair Salon is nothing but exceptional service when I visit. I am always greeted by a smile following with an option for beverages and a comfy waiting area. The staff are professional and friendly and strive to give the very best from my experiences. I will always be a customer for they’re reputable, stylish, clean and friendly environment. Lastly it is dog friendly

Always had good experiences prior. Especially with evone i believe.last time i came i left unsatisfied, i was told she was no longer there so i hesitantly accepted another stylist. And for twice the cost as my last visit. 40$ prior and 80$ this time for the exact same thing but done twice as poorly. May want to tell your employees they should not be pushing or talking about their personal political and social beliefs to clients rude, combative and unprofessional.made me uncomfortable. Hair is uneven, barley cut and not what i wanted.

I had my hair done by Rebekah, and I cannot say enough good things! She was extremely attentive to detail, and the cut and balayage was absolutely stunning! She also worked with me and my schedule coming from out of town and I appreciate how above and beyond she went from booking to service to follow up:) 10/10!

Staff is always friendly. Rebekah has been cutting and colouring my hair for many years. She always gets it right. I highly recommend her!

Bailee was my hairstylist, she was super friendly and kind. She listened to what I wanted done to my hair and the result was amazing. Super satisfied with my hair feeling fresh and beautiful!

Shannon Drummond is the most incredible amazing hairdresser and human! My 2c curly hair is thin but dense and non porous, and she's the first hairdresser that's been able to give me a cut that makes my hair feel thick while cutting out channels to enhance the curl, and trust me, I've tried quite a few hairdressers who claimed they could tame my hair! She's an absolute master, and on top of that such a beautiful soul inside and out. If you have curly hair in the valley I couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you Shannon

I’ve been going to Roots Salon since 2014 and truly been a place I felt comfortable to try new colours, work with the hair stylists and many hours of enjoying the space an environment with staff members truly enjoying their job and creating amazing hairstyles.

I highly recommend Tana as she has continued to exceed expectation. I’ve tried platinum, auburn, even fuchsia and it’s been and absolute delight leaving the salon feeling so cared for and styled. Even after moving away I travel back to see Tana and always so thankful I do.

I have been going to Tana at Roots for several years now and I can confidently say she is the best hairstylist I know! She always exceeds my expectations whether it be with a simple cut, a full colour, or something more intricate. Since the first time I went to Tana, she has always made me feel so comfortable being there (usually it’s 6-8 hours at a time). She has never failed me!

I have been going to Roots for many years now. Tana Fuhr is my hair stylist and she is absolutely incredible! She is very warm and approachable and is very knowledgeable and skilled in the hair services she provides. I have never questioned her ability to do what I want for my hair and I trust her completely. I have had a difficult time finding a hair stylist who is confident in themselves to do the hair colours I have asked for and I am extremely grateful for finding Tana. I highly recommend her!

I’ve gotten my hair done by Tana throughout the years at Roots salon. From purple, to blonde, to dark brown, to cut for curly hair with bangs - and she kills it each time. If anyone is going to understand the assignment- Its her.

Tana is the absolute best hairdresser and the only person I trust cutting my hair! She always takes the inspo pics I show her and makes it 100x better. I’ve had issues with different hairstylists in the past and Tana has worked her magic to fix previous stylist mistakes. Always love getting to spend time in her chair and cannot wait to book my appointment for a summer cut!

Tana gives the best of the best experience! Not only is she amazing at her job but I absolutely love getting in her chair just for a chat. Shes hilarious and easy to talk to and even offered to get me a coffee last time I was there. Love her!

Extremely unprofessional and very rude. Cancelled my appointment 2 hours before coz the hair stylist took extra work from previous appointment. Offered an apology and said comeback next week or we can get someone else to do it. But there’s a reason we make appointments.

Shannon has been my hair stylist since 2019 and she is hands down…FABULOUS! Her pricing is super reasonable especially for the time, effort and quality she puts into her work! Plus she is absolutely AMAZING when it comes to working with different shades of Blonde!
The atmosphere is incredible when you walk into Roots and the staff will always greet you with a bright hello and they’re all so friendly! Would recommend Shannon to anyone wanting a balayage, root touch up, colours, the list goes on!

I cannot stress enough that iv found my forever hairdresser with Shannon, and how much I appreciate the whole team at roots, everytime I go every single person is smiling and helpful and when it comes to the service it’s exactly what I’m looking for which is friendly, they take their time to ensure your happy and if your not happy they are committed to making sure you are, you get the to die for head massage during the shampoo and conditioner, and they know what they are doing for a reasonable price! Anyways so thankful to be going to roots and seeing Shannon <3

Well done on the updates Roots! Love the new white & wood foliage look in what was a dark red & black space. I followed the talented Shannon back to your salon after not being there in 10 years. Don't let her youg age fool you. She has amazing talent & experience, curly, straight, color, kids - she's impressed every time, and. Great to see a long term local business refreshed.
